    This study shows that juvenile delinquency in a "container" called motorcycle gang makes people uncomfortable with acts of violence carried out individually (alone) or groups. They feel proud if people are afraid, there is a sense of pride in motorcycle gang members who are able to knock down opponents, damage other people's property, rob, and damage public facilities. This is a disaster for the community. The method used is a qualitative method with descriptive studies. The data collection technique is documentation and literature review. The results showed that there was a role for communication by parents to teenage motorcycle gang

    Hubungan adversity quotient dan hasil belajar biswa pada pembelajaran Fisika pokok bahasan gerak benda menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) adversity quotient siswa (2) hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik (3) ada atau tidak adanya hubungan adversity quotient dan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif pada pembelajaran fisika pokok bahasan gerak benda menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tidak murni, dalam mengumpulkan data Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket adversity quotient siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Hasil analisis reliabilitas butir soal uji coba instrumen tes hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh sebesar 0,62 dengan kategori kuat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII semester I MTsN 1 Model Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017, dengan sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah 28 orang siswa pada kelas VIII-6. Analisis data adversity quotient siswa, serta hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik menggunakan program SPSS versi 17.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) berdasarkan analisis skor adversity quotient didapat bahwa rata-rata skor pretest adversity quotient sebesar 125,6 dalam ketegoti menengah dan rata-rata posttest adversity quotient adalah sebesar 158,3 dengan kategori tinggi. (2) berdasarkan analisis hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif nilai rata-rata yang didapat siswa pada pretest sebesar 48,6 sedangkan posttest sebesar 79,6. Hasil belajar pada ranah afektif dan psikomotorik didapat adanya peningkatan dilihat dari setiap pertemuan yang dilakukan, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pada ranah afektif sebesar 75,8 nilai tersebut termasuk dalam kategori baik sedangkan hasil belajar pada ranah psikimotorik siswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 75,0 termasuk dalam kategori baik. (3) Analisis uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara adversity quotient dan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif. Hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan α = 0,05 lebih kecil dari nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,190 untuk ranah kognitif dengan dengan hasil perhitungan rhitung sebesar -0,255

    Deep Predictive Coding Neural Network for RF Anomaly Detection in Wireless Networks

    Intrusion detection has become one of the most critical tasks in a wireless network to prevent service outages that can take long to fix. The sheer variety of anomalous events necessitates adopting cognitive anomaly detection methods instead of the traditional signature-based detection techniques. This paper proposes an anomaly detection methodology for wireless systems that is based on monitoring and analyzing radio frequency (RF) spectrum activities. Our detection technique leverages an existing solution for the video prediction problem, and uses it on image sequences generated from monitoring the wireless spectrum. The deep predictive coding network is trained with images corresponding to the normal behavior of the system, and whenever there is an anomaly, its detection is triggered by the deviation between the actual and predicted behavior. For our analysis, we use the images generated from the time-frequency spectrograms and spectral correlation functions of the received RF signal. We test our technique on a dataset which contains anomalies such as jamming, chirping of transmitters, spectrum hijacking, and node failure, and evaluate its performance using standard classifier metrics: detection ratio, and false alarm rate. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed methodology effectively detects many unforeseen anomalous events in real time.     Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja organisasi, pengaruh kinerja organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan dan pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey, sample dan kuesioner di PT.Petrokimia Gresik. Analisis model menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan bantuan program AMOS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan dari budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja organisasi, ada pengaruh signifikan dari kinerja organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan tetapi tidak ada pengaruh signifikan dari budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Budaya Organisasi yang ditinjau dengan menggunakan nilai-nilai atau karakteristik budaya organisasi PT.Petrokimia Gresik yaitu : safety & lingkungan hidup, kepuasan pelanggan, inovasi, integritas dan kerjasama bersinergi diduga kurang berpengaruh untuk memberikan dampak kepada kepuasan kerja karyawan. Dengan memahami variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja organisasi dan kepuasan kerja karyawan, pihak terkait dapat menggunakan hasil tersebut sebgai bahan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi dan kepuasan kerja karyawan

    Many health care professionals and patients are unclear of the role that dentists may play in the management of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea-Hypopnoea Syndrome (OSAHS.) The dentists’ role is primarily in the construction of appliances for OSAHS but in the United States of America some dentists have practices limited to “Sleep dentistry”. However, in the United Kingdom there is limited training for dentists in this field. This thesis aims to review the relevant literature that pertains to OSAHS and dentistry and then, through three studies, to look at the past, present and future involvement of dentists in OSAHS. Assessing outcome is clearly important and this thesis firstly presents patient-based findings of the long term success of mandibular advancement appliances. Secondly, the experience and views of dentists and sleep specialists, assessed by questionnaire, is presented. Finally, a prospective study of a promising screening tool (the Kushida Index) for the diagnosis of sleep apnoea is carried out

Sebuah aplikasi perhitungan berbasis desktop sangatlah tepat untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah yang disebabkan oleh proses perhitungan secara manual. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menciptakan sebuah aplikasi pengolahan nilai untuk membantu mengatasi masalah dari sistem terdahulu yaitu pengolahan nilai secara manual. dengan adanya aplikasi pengolahan nilai pelajaran ini mampu memberikan kemudahan serta meningkatkan kinerja bagi guru dan staf administrasi dalam melakukan proses pengolahan nilai akademik yang ada di SD Al-Irsyad Surakarta. Memudahkan dalam proses pengolahan data proses pengolahan data siswa, data pelajaran, data guru pengajar, serta data nilai dari para siswa. Aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemograman java desktop serta memakai database MySql. Pembuatan aplikasi ini berdasarkan kebutuhan sistem pengolahan nilai yang ada di SD Al-Irsyad Surakarta, dari autentifikasi kebutuhan sistem, autentifikasi pengguna dan admin, kemudian dilakukan pengujian. Hasil dari penelitian ini mencangkup beberapa aspek yaitu terciptanya aplikasi pengolahan nilai di SD AL-IRSYAD Surakarta, aplikasi ini mampu menggantikan sistem sebelumnya hal ini berdasarkan hasil quisioner yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya yaitu sebanyak 70% responden menyatakan bahwa aplikasi ini layak untuk menggantikan sistem perhitungan sebelumnya dan sisanya sebanyak 30% menyatakan netral

    Brain drain to Singapore: A case study of Malaysian accounting professionals

    Fierce competition for skilled labour between countries is the indirect result of globalization and this has led to intense labour mobility worldwide. Most fre-quently observed is the outflow of professionals from developing countries to the developed nations. More often this happens at the expense of the developing countries. Malaysia is one developing country that is not spared from this phenomenon. This is damaging to the country’s economy. This research was motivated by the increasing number of Malaysian professionals fleeing the home country to serve in foreign lands. This study addresses the need of these experts in the home country to improve the nation’s economy in order to achieve the high income status by 2020. Thus, the present study examined the relationship between the variables and Brain Drain. The sample population is accounting professionals based in Kuala Lumpur and Penang because these are the urban areas that contain offices where accounting personnel can be found. This research constitutes an empirical study which utilizes a cross-sectional research design. The present study has employed both the questionnaire approach and the face-to-face interviews to enhance the value of the research. Questionnaires were administered via drop off/pick up method, email and snowball. The Partial Least Squared (PLS) Method was used to analyse the data collected from the survey. The findings of the study show that Better Perks and Benefits, Quality Work Life, Ease of Immigration Procedures, International Exposure, Greater Job Availability, and Social Network have a significant impact on Brain Drain and that the Big 5 Personality and Proactive Personality moderate the relationship between the main variables and Brain Drain. This study reveals that besides money, job satisfaction should also be an area where employers should focus since without job satisfaction, people are compelled to leave. The government should also mobilise their officials abroad to ensure that Malaysians abroad are always in touch with the home country and that relationship is not severed. Host countries also could assist in collecting taxes on behalf of Malaysia. Thus it is recommended that Malaysia take proactive measures in order to curb the Brain Drain phenomenon
