Through it, seek to create a database containing materials list, activities, and total unit costs, which allows to update the cost of each work by introducing new values and thus have a tool in place. With the completion of this educational project, intended to deliver Costa Rican Institute of Sport and Recreation (ICODER), a format for calculating cost estimates detailed and updated, a gym economic that are commonly requested by the communities. So you give a lot of support to the development of sport in the various communities of our country. Post-training discriminative pruning for RBMs

One of the major challenges in the area of artificial neural networks is the identification of a suitable architecture for a specific problem. Choosing an unsuitable topology can exponentially increase the training cost, and even hinder network convergence. On the other hand, recent research indicates that larger or deeper nets can map the problem features into a more appropriate space, and thereby improve the classification process, thus leading to an apparent dichotomy. In this regard, it is interesting to inquire whether independent measures, such as mutual information, could provide a clue to finding the most discriminative neurons in a network. In the present work we explore this question in the context of Restricted Boltzmann Machines, by employing different measures to realize post-training pruning. The neurons which are determined by each measure to be the most discriminative, are combined and a classifier is applied to the ensuing network to determine its usefulness. We find that two measures in particular seem to be good indicators of the most discriminative neurons, producing savings of generally more than 50% of the neurons, while maintaining an acceptable error rate. Further, it is borne out that starting with a larger network architecture and then pruning is more advantageous than using a smaller network to begin with. Finally, a quantitative index is introduced which can provide information on choosing a suitable pruned network.Fil: Sánchez Gutiérrez, Máximo. John's ellipsoid and the integral ratio of a log-concave function

We extend the notion of John’s ellipsoid to the setting of integrable log-concave functions. This will allow us to define the integral ratio of a log-concave function, which will extend the notion of volume ratio, and we will find the log-concave function maximizing the integral ratio. A reverse functional affine isoperimetric inequality will be given, written in terms of this integral ratio. The coronavirus pandemic and its challenges to women’s work in Latin America

The coronavirus pandemic has spread throughout the world and Latin America has not been exempt from its health, economic and social impacts. The economic shutdown, as a result of a combination of stringent measures (self-quarantines, mandatory lockdowns, limited capacity in shops, factories and offices, border closures, etc.), is having a profound economic and social impact. In the labor market it has shocked both supply and demand. Within households, it has resulted in an increase in the unpaid workload, burdening women disproportionately, further reducing the time they can allocate to productive activities. The crisis’s impacts and depth are felt differently by they can widen existing gender gaps. In this paper, the authors explore the impacts of the crisis on employment in sixteen countries in the region. In addition, they analize gender impacts through four lenses: young people, people living in poverty, people living in rural areas and heads of the family. Researchers present a set of policy option aimed at integrating the gender approach into the entire pandemic world. Emphasizing the need for cross-sectional solutions, the authors propose policies in three main areas: the home, work and the spaces between work and home. This will enable socio-economic recovery policies to not only soften short-term impacts, but also further equal opportunities for women and men in the medium and long terms

We introduce a family of reconfiguration puzzles arising from ideas in geometry and topology.
