Quantum Singular Value Decomposer

We present a variational quantum circuit that produces the Singular Value Decomposition of a bipartite pure state. The proposed circuit, that we name Quantum Singular Value Decomposer or QSVD, is made of two unitaries respectively acting on each part of the system. The key idea of the algorithm is to train this circuit so that the final state displays exact output coincidence from both subsystems for every measurement in the computational basis. Such circuit preserves entanglement between the parties and acts as a diagonalizer that delivers the eigenvalues of the Schmidt decomposition. Our algorithm only requires measurements in one single setting, in striking contrast to the $3^n$ settings required by state tomography. Furthermore, the adjoints of the unitaries making the circuit are used to create the eigenvectors of the decomposition up to a global phase. Some further applications of QSVD are readily obtained. The proposed QSVD circuit allows to construct a SWAP between the two parties of the system without the need of any quantum gate communicating them. We also show that a circuit made with QSVD and CNOTs acts as an encoder of information of the original state onto one of its parties. This idea can be reversed and used to create random states with a precise entanglement structure.Comment: 6 + 1 pages, 5 figure

Unprecedented layered coordination polymers of dithiolene group 10 metals: Magnetic and electrical properties

One-pot reactions between Ni(ii), Pd(ii) or Pt(ii) salts and 3,6-dichloro-1,2-benzenedithiol (HSC6H2Cl2SH) in KOH medium under argon lead to a series of bis-dithiolene coordination polymers. X-ray analysis shows the presence of a common square planar complex [M(SC6H2Cl2S)2]2- linked to potassium cations forming either a two-dimensional coordination polymer network for {[K2(μ-H2O)2(μ-thf)(thf)2][M(SC6H2Cl2S)2]}n [M = Ni (1) and Pd (2)] or a one-dimensional coordination polymer for {[K2(μ-H2O)2(thf)6][Pt(SC6H2Cl2S)2]}n (3). In 3 the coordination environment of the potassium ions may slightly change leading to the two-dimensional coordination polymer {[K2(μ-H2O)(μ-thf)2][Pt(SC6H2Cl2S)2]}n (4) that crystallizes together with 3. Modelling decision making in the management of national parks

Trabajo presentado al 14th International Symposium on the Analytic Hierarchy Process celebrado en Washington (US) del 29 de junio al 2 de julio de 2014.A procedure for determining the influential factors in NP management and supporting participatory decision making is proposed. The procedure was applied to the Waraira Repano national park (WRNP) in Venezuela. Key aspects found for the effective management of WRNP showed to be Driving forces like "Human population growth" or "Patterns of use of natural resources"; Pressures like "Forest fires" and "Illegal human settlements"; States like "Biodiversity composition and abundance" and "Ecosystem and landscape integrity"; Impacts like "Natural resources depletion" or "Altered connectivity"; and Responses like "Stakeholders" participation" or "Environmental surveillance". Finally, key indicators have been proposed to monitor the evolution of these influential factors. Also, the findings confirm that stakeholders hold different interests, approaches to sustainability and sensitivities. After ANP all stakeholders understand better their interests and the others". Thus, an improved participation is obtained and a consensus, or at least general agreements, is more likely. Sistema de control interno y gestión de los recursos humanos de la Dirección Regional de Transportes y Comunicaciones San Martín, 2018

La investigación realizada en la Dirección Regional de Transportes y Comunicaciones San Martín, durante el periodo 2018, ha tenido por objetivo, el poder determinar la relación entre el sistema de control interno y la gestión de los recursos humanos dentro de la institución señalada, trabajándose para ello bajo una investigación de tipo no experimental, con un diseño correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 20 trabajadores de la Dirección Regional de Transportes y Comunicaciones San Martín. Los instrumentos empleados para la recolección de la información fueron los cuestionarios tipo Likert (ya que contaron con 5 respuestas ordinales). Se encontró que: el personal considera poco adecuado que solo los gerentes de cada unidad, sean los encargados de efectuar la planificación de los riesgos sin su apoyo, e indican que no necesariamente las evaluaciones que les realizan en cuanto al desempeño son las más adecuadas. Además, indican que no se viene cumpliendo a cabalidad con los logros y compromisos establecidos para el 2018. De esta manera, se concluye que, existe relación entre el sistema de control interno y la gestión de los Recursos Humanos de la Dirección Regional de Transportes y Comunicaciones San Martín, esto en base a que el valor sig. (bilateral) de 0.000 obtenido (por medio de la prueba de Rho de Spearman) es menor al margen de error de 0.05, motivo por el cual se aceptó la hipótesis de investigación

Confinamiento por COVID19 y violencia familiar en mujeres en unión convivencial del juzgado de familia de Tarapoto,2020

La presente investigación se realiza debido a la actual coyuntura de confinamiento en el estado de emergencia sanitaria, con el objetivo de establecer la relación entre confinamiento por COVID-19 y violencia familiar en mujeres de familias de unión convivencial del Juzgado de Familia de Tarapoto, 2020. La investigación fue de tipo básica, cuantitativa no experimental de diseño transversal, descriptivo correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 316 expedientes y la muestra por 59 expedientes del Juzgado de Familia según tipo de lesión dolosa o culposa de mujeres de familias concubinas, presentados durante el periodo del 15 de marzo al 31 de diciembre del 2020. Los datos recogidos con los instrumentos fueron procesados estadísticamente mediante el Chi cuadrado, obteniendo la aceptación de la hipótesis alterna y el rechazo de la hipótesis nula. Resultados que permiten concluir que, existe relación entre confinamiento por COVID-19 y violencia familiar en mujeres de familias de unión convivencial del Juzgado de Familia de Tarapoto, 2020

Análisis, diseño, desarrollo e implementación de un sistema Web para la gestión de productos y servicios enfocado a pymes, enmarcado en el entorno de una veterinaria

El presente proyecto presenta una solución que apoyara a las actividades que se realizan en la veterinaria “Pets World” aportando mayor confiabilidad y rapidez al momento de gestionar la información referente a los pacientes, o al realizar despachos de las ventas realizadas en la petshop, también al requerir información actualizada de las existencias de productos y medicamentos en determinado momento, o cuando se necesita realizar un agendamiento de citas médicas. La solución propuesta permitirá incrementar el ahorro y buena utilización de material de oficina, eliminará la duplicación de historias clínicas, permitirá concretar ventas exitosamente, atenderá el abastecimiento de productos en bodega de manera eficiente y evitará el agendamiento incorrecto de citas médicas. En la propuesta presentada se desarrolla un Sistema Web, el que principalmente servirá para gestionar toda la información generada en la veterinaria, permitiendo dar solución a los problemas de existencias de productos mediante monitoreo constante a los movimientos que se realizan con los productos en bodega y en la petshop, el sistema web muestra al usuario de manera rápida y sencilla toda la información referente a un paciente, permite agendar citas médicas mediante un calendario grafico que muestra los horarios y fechas disponibles y los no disponibles. La implementación se la realiza usando la metodología Scrum, la cual permite, afrontar con éxito nuevos requerimientos del usuario, solventar posibles cambios en el entorno de la veterinaria Con la implementación del sistema Web se ha logrado optimizar el tiempo empleado para la atención de un paciente, ahorrar en material de oficina, abastecer a la bodega de productos y medicamentos de manera oportuna y se conocen las fechas y horas disponibles y no disponibles al momento de agendar citas médicas.The present project presents a solution that supports the activities carried out in the veterinary "Pets World", providing greater reliability and speed when managing the information regarding patients, or when making shipments of sales made in the petshop, also by requiring updated information on the stock of products and medicines at a certain time, or when a schedule of medical appointments is needed. The proposed solution will increase the savings and good use of office equipment, eliminate duplication of medical records, will allow close sales successfully, will attend the supply of products in warehouse efficiently and prevent improper scheduling of medical appointments. In the presented proposal a Web System is developed, which will mainly serve to manage all the information generated in the veterinary, allowing to solve the problems of stock of products through constant monitoring of the movements that are made with the products in the winery and in the petshop, the web system shows the user quickly and easily all the information regarding a patient, allows scheduling medical appointments through a graphic calendar that shows the schedules and dates available and those not available. The implementation is done using the Scrum methodology, which allows successfully meet new user requirements, to solve possible changes in the veterinary environment With the implementation of the Web system, it has been possible to optimize the time spent to care for a patient, save on office supplies, supply the warehouse with products and medicines in a timely manner and know the dates and times available and not available at the time. to schedule medical appointments

Crypto-asset regulation in the current international and European framework

Artículo de revistaThe growth of crypto-assets in recent years, their potential use as a means of exchange or saving, and their possible risks to financial stability, arising, among other things, from their interconnections with the banking sector, have drawn the attention of national and international authorities. In terms of the regulation of these assets, of note at the European level is the European Union’s proposal for a regulation on markets in crypto-assets, which establishes a regulatory framework for all those crypto-assets that currently lie outside the scope of the European Union’s existing regulation on financial services. As regards their treatment in the banking sector, in December 2022 the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision published the global standard on the prudential treatment of banks’exposures to crypto-assets. In this article we review the main characteristics of these two regulatory developments, which are essential for the future of the crypto-asset ecosystem’s relationship with the traditional financial world

La formación del pedagogo en sistemas de información y documentación con nuevas tecnologías

Se presentan los resultados de una innovación docente introducida en la titulación de Pedagogía de la Universidad de Oviedo. La intervención se ha orientado al desarrollo de la competencia de gestión de la información en el alumnado de primero en la asignatura Sistemas de Información y Documentación sobre Educación. Para alcanzar este objetivo, se ha realizado y desarrollado un plan de trabajo bianual. Los resultados de esta investigación revelan que las tecnologías contribuyeron a potenciar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.___________________________This paper presents the results of a teaching innovation in Pedagogy in the Oviedo University.
