Recorrido por la obra del estudio de arquitectura de Aman, Canovas y Marururi a través de uno de sus componentes Andrés Canovas. La conferencia desvela los entresijos de las siguientes obras de arquitectura: El Parque Arqueológico del Molinete en Cartagena, las viviendas sociales de Carabanchel, Madrid, el Museo de Monteaguado en Murcia, las viviendas sociales de Coslada, Madrid, y la Torre Ascensor y edificio de oficinas en Cartagena, Murcia. En cada uno de estos proyectos se investiga con distintos materiales de construcción que intentan conferir al lugar nuevos atributos plásticos que lo mejoran y embellecen.Universidad de Málaga. Ventanas abiertas al paisaje de Roma: la pared disuelta / A window to Rome landscape: the dissolved Wall

Este texto es un recuento de fricciones, de choques violentos, de colisiones entre arquitecturas, imágenes líricas y pensamientos que se desplazan acompañándose juntos por los cartílagos de la historia. Este texto también habla de atmósferas. Acostumbrados como estamos a una cierta pérdida de los límites materiales de nuestras arquitecturas desde la tecnología, quizás conviene rastrear cómo esa disolución de los límites se hizo posible en las civilizaciones antiguas. En el mundo romano las paredes de los edificios se disuelven con la pintura o con el arte del mosaico. Estas ilusiones son ventanas a otros mundos, a otros lugares quizás más sugerentes y hermosos que los simples trazados geométricos de las estancias. Los ejemplos desarrollados son sustanciales para conocer el modo en que a través de arquitecturas fingidas como en el caso de las pinturas de la villa de Boscoreale o a través de las representaciones de la naturaleza en el caso de las pinturas de la villa de Livia en Prima Porta, los artesanos romanos cambian la dimensión de las habitaciones para forzar la mirada y reconocer que detrás de las paredes y las tapias hay un mundo por descubrir. Siempre hemos pensado que el estudio de la antigüedad explica nuestro presente. Pero también es posible reflexionar como el conocimiento de nuestro presente inoculado en la antigüedad hace que esta mute, que se matice y que podamos entenderla con mayor nitidez. Este es uno de los objetivos de este texto. This text is a report about the violent collisions between architectures, lyrical images and thoughts that move together through the cartilage of the History. This text also deals with atmospheres. We are used to erase the material limits of our architectures thanks to technology, perhaps we should now find out how the dissolution of the limits could happen in the ancient civilizations. In the Roman world, the walls of the buildings become dissolved with paintings or mosaics. These illusions are windows to other worlds, with more suggestive and beautiful places than the simple geometric patterns of the rooms. By analyzing the paintings in the villa of Boscoreale or nature representations in villa of Livia in Prima Porta, we can know the way that roman craftsmen changed the dimension of the rooms through fake architectures that create new looks and show that behind the walls there is a new world to discover. We have always thought that the study of the Past explains our Present. But it is also possible to think about the knowledge of our present that once injected in antiquity makes it change in order to understand it more clearly. This is one of the objectives of this text. Social research into the phenomenon of the captivity of the Greek or Spur-thighed Tortoise in the Southeast of the Iberian Peninsula

[Resumo] No presente manuscrito investígase a dimensión social da conservación de especies a través do estudo do fenómeno da catividade da tartaruga moura (Testudo graeca) no sueste ibérico. Para iso utilizaron técnicas cuantitativas e cualitativas de investigación social, en concreto, enquisas a poboación autóctona e a novos residentes do turismo internacional e entrevistas en profundidade a colectivos que manteñen tartarugas cativas e a aqueles implicados na conservación e xestión da especie. Estas técnicas permitiron cuantificar a situación actual e as tendencias a coleccionar e posuír tartarugas en catividade, permitiron determinar as motivacións destas prácticas e as diferentes representacións sociais que se manteñen cara á especie, así como coñecer os posicionamentos existentes cara á conservación da especie. A partir destes resultados danse recomendacións de xestión e intervención social para a conservación da tartaruga moura no sueste ibérico e a xestión da poboación cativa de tartaruga moura.[Abstract] In this document the social dimension of the captivity in the Southeast of the Iberian Peninsula of the Greek or Spur-thighed tortoise (Testudo graeca) is a subject of research. In order to do this, quantitative and qualitative techniques of social research have been used, specifically through questionnaires amongst the local population and new residents who reside there as a result of international tourism, and intensive interviews with the groups of people who hold tortoises in captivity and with those who are involved in the protection and control of the species. Such techniques have allowed us to quantify the current situation and the trends for the catching and keeping this species in captivity, as well as to determine the motivation behind such practices and the various social representations held towards the species, as well as the existing points of view held towards the protection of the species. From these results recommendations are given with regards to the management and social intervention in order to protect the Greek or Spur-thighed tortoise in the Southeast of the Iberian Peninsula and the control of the poplation in captivity of the Greek or Spur-thighed tortoise

Flujos migratorios y cambio social en la Región de Murcia

This paper deals with the different international migratory flows arrived to the region the Murcia since the mid eighties in the twentieth century up to the present. The article examines the changes in this three decades of economic migrations, associated with demographic characteristics, family strategies, spatial distribution and residential insertion, and the labour trajectories, connecting it afterward specifically with the processes of integration and the inter-ethnics relationships. These processes are illustrated with the analysis of the census databases and with some examples obtained from different qualitative field works. The paper claims to show that immigrant workers share histories of extreme class stratification and disenfranchisement created by both legal and extra-legal discrimination and exploitation.Este artículo trata sobre los diferentes flujos migratorios internacionales que han llegado a la Región de Murcia desde mediados de los 80 hasta la actualidad. El artículo examina los cambios en estas tres décadas de migraciones económicas, asociados con características demográficas, estrategias familiares, distribución espacial e inserción residencial, y las trayectorias laborales, vinculando estas cuestiones con los procesos de integración y las relaciones interétnicas. Estos procesos son ilustrados con el análisis de fuentes censales y con algunos ejemplos obtenidos de diferentes trabajos de campo cualitativos. El artículo pretende mostrar que los trabajadores inmigrantes conforman trayectorias de acusada estratificación de clase y ausencia de derechos creadas por formas de discriminación y explotación tanto legales como extralegales
