Indonesia is a large country, but the proportion of entrepreneurs in the population is very small. Empirical facts show that the number of university graduates has increased significantly over time, while the absorption capacity of the labor market is very low. So it is deemed necessary to develop student entrepreneurship. The purpose of this activity is to provide information about entrepreneurship and increase interest in entrepreneurship for students. The PkM team helps activity participants to be motivated and have an interest in the business world through the provision of material delivered by the speakers. The PkM team also helps provide assistance and training to activity participants. Based on the PkM activities that have been carried out, it is concluded that "PkM activities add insight and knowledge related to entrepreneurship in Suherman Medika University students so that they get better and better". Of course it is important to provide entrepreneurship education so that competent young entrepreneurs develop and understand the ability and stability to progress in inculcating attitudes, behaviors, awareness and skills. This can foster an entrepreneurial spirit, attitude, behavior and skills in students and society who are competent, reliable and superior. Besides that, it will foster strong and strong entrepreneurial awareness and orientation to students and the community. The thermal conductivity k and resistivity ρ of biocarbon matrices, prepared by carbonizing medium-density fiberboard at Tcarb = 850 and 1500°C in the presence of a Ni-based catalyst (samples MDFC( Ni)) and without a catalyst (samples MDF-C), have been measured for the first time in the temperature range of 5–300 K. X-ray diffraction analysis has revealed that the bulk graphite phase arises only at Tcarb = 1500°C. It has been shown that the temperature dependences of the thermal conductivity of samples MDFC- 850 and MDF-C-850(Ni) in the range of 80–300 K are to each other and follow the law of k(T) ~ T1.65, but the use of the Ni-catalyst leads to an increase in the thermal conductivity by a factor of approximately 1.5, due to the formation of a greater fraction of the nanocrystalline phase in the presence of the Ni-catalyst at Tcarb = 850°C. In biocarbon MDF-C-1500 prepared without a catalyst, the dependence is k(T) ~ T1.65, and it is controlled by the nanocrystalline phase. In MDF-C-1500(Ni), the bulk graphite phase formed increases the thermal conductivity by a factor of 1.5–2 compared to the thermal conductivity of MDF-C-1500 in the entire temperature range of 5–300 K; k(T = 300 K) reaches the values of ~10 W m–1 K–1, characteristic of biocarbon obtained without a catalyst only at high temperatures of Tcarb = 2400°C. It has been shown that MDF-C-1500(Ni) in the temperature range of 40‒300 K is characterized by the dependence, k(T) ~ T1.3, which can be described in terms of the model of partially graphitized biocarbon as a composite of an amorphous matrix with spherical inclusions of the graphite phaseRussian Foundation for Basic Research 14-03- 0049

Structuring reality through the faultlines lens: the effects of structure, fairness, and status conflict on the activated faultlines-performance relationship

    Get PDF
We investigate how activated team faultlines represent an informal sensemaking structure through which teammates interpret their social reality. Constructed from inter-subgroup comparisons, activated faultlines likely result in status perceptions that are ambiguous or illegitimate. Thus, activated faultlines threaten the justice climate within the team, which drives status conflict, impairing team performance. We explore the effects of team structure clarity in providing certainty or legitimacy around status and structure, ameliorating the negative effect of activated faultlines on team justice climate. We tested our model using a multi-source (three sources), multi-wave cross-lagged design (four waves) on a sample of 271 employees and 41 leaders in 41 teams. We found that the negative relationship between activated faultlines and team performance was mediated by the team justice climate—status conflict causal chain. We also found that team structure clarity reduced activated faultlines negative effect on team justice climate. The results highlight the value of using team faultlines, the social identity approach, and justice theories to understand how diverse teams interpret their social reality that influences their performance. Furthermore, our research provides practical guidance to managers in building clear team structures that minimize the harmful effects of activated faultlines on justice perceptions and team performance.info:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersio

Cross-species tests of 45 microsatellite loci isolated from different species of ungulates in the Iberian red deer (Cervus elaphus hispanicus) to generate a multiplex panel

The Iberian red deer (Cervus elaphus hispanicus) is an emblematic game species in Spain. To generate a battery of polymorphic markers for multiplex polymerase chain reactions for the Spanish red deer, 45 loci isolated in different species of ungulates were tested. Of the primers tested, 27 amplified but only 21 were polymorphic. Eleven of these markers were subsequently optimized for multiplex in four polymerase chain reactions. This allows analysing several molecular markers jointly to substantially reduce costs. Finally, we report descriptive summary statistics such as number of alleles for the former and also test of disequilibria and heterozygosity for the latter. © 2008 The Authors.Peer Reviewe

Atoms and Quantum Dots With a Large Number of Electrons: the Ground State Energy

We compute the ground state energy of atoms and quantum dots with a large number N of electrons. Both systems are described by a non-relativistic Hamiltonian of electrons in a d-dimensional space. The electrons interact via the Coulomb potential. In the case of atoms (d=3), the electrons are attracted by the nucleus, via the Coulomb potential. In the case of quantum dots (d=2), the electrons are confined by an external potential, whose shape can be varied. We show that the dominant terms of the ground state energy are those given by a semiclassical Hartree-exchange energy, whose N to infinity limit corresponds to Thomas-Fermi theory. This semiclassical Hartree-exchange theory creates oscillations in the ground state energy as a function of N. These oscillations reflect the dynamics of a classical particle moving in the presence of the Thomas-Fermi potential. The dynamics is regular for atoms and some dots, but in general in the case of dots, the motion contains a chaotic component. We compute the correlation effects. They appear at the order N ln N for atoms, in agreement with available data. For dots, they appear at the order N.Comment: 30 pages, 1 figur
