    Transrectal ultrasound guided systematic 13 core prostate biopsy for diagnosing prostate carcinoma

    目的探讨经直肠超声引导下13点前列腺系统穿刺活检对诊断前列腺癌的临床价值。方法 255例直肠指诊阳性和(或)PSA>4ng/Ml患者全部行13点前列腺系统穿刺活检。在标准6点前列腺系统穿刺活检术的同时,增加前列腺中间部位及前列腺两侧旁正中线远侧的穿刺点数,总活检13点。将增加的7点活检部位的病理结果与标准6点活检术病理结果进行比较。结果 255例患者中确诊为前列腺癌者71例(28%),这71例前列腺癌患者若只接受6点穿刺方法,将有15例患者漏诊,约占21%。所有行13点穿刺患者均未出现严重并发症。结论直肠超声引导下13点前列腺系统穿刺活检术可明显提高前列腺癌的临床检出率,并且无严重并发症,可广泛临床推广。Objective To evaluate the clinical value of transrectal ultrasound guided systematic 13 core prostate biopsy.Methods A total of 255 patients referred to abnormal digital rectal examination and/or prostate specific antigen 4ng/ml or greater underwent transrectal ultrasound guided systematic 13 core prostate biopsy.That was,in addition to standard sextant biopsies, cores were taken from the far lateral and middle regions of the gland as described by Eskew.Pathological findings of the additional regions were compared with those of the sextant regions.Results of the patients 28% had cancer on biopsy (71/255).of the 71patients with prostate cancer 15(21%)had carcinoma only in the additional regions, which would have remained undetected had the sextant biopsy technique been used alone (P<0.05).No one of severe complications could be found among the patients who underwent transrectal ultrasound guided systematic 13 core prostate biopsy.Conclusion Our data demonstrated that transrectal ultrasound guided systematic 13 core prostate biopsy can increase the detection rate significantly.It is safe and efficacious, and should be recommended to be used in clinic

    Population-specific anthropometric cut-points improve the functionality of the Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) in elderly Taiwanese.

    [[abstract]]"The objective of this study was to determine the population-specific cut-points of body mass index (BMI), midarm circumference (MAC) and calf circumference (CC) for identifying subnormal nutritional status in elderly Taiwanese, and to evaluate the possibility of improving the functionality of the Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) by adopting these cut-points. This study analyzed data from 1583 men and 1307 women, 65 years or older, of a national survey. The survey involved in-home, face-to-face, interviews and anthropometric measurements. Results showed that based on the cumulative percentile curves, the fifth percentile values were: BMI, 17 kg/m2 for both men and women; MAC, 22.5 cm for men and 21 cm for women; and CC, 28 cm for men and 25 cm for women. Substitution of these population-specific cut-points for respective values in the MNA screen resulted in lowered proportions of elderly classified malnourished or at risk of malnutrition. The prevalence of malnutrition was reduced from 1.7% to 1.4% in men and from 2.4% to 1.5% in women. The proportions classified at risk of malnutrition were reduced from 10.1% to 8.9% for men and 16.8% to 12.8% for women. In conclusion, results suggest that the MNA is a valuable tool for geriatric nutritional risk assessment. However, in populations where significant differences exist in anthropometric measurements from the Caucasian populations, population-specific cut-points should be used.

    Genetic engineering of E-coli SE5000 and its potential for Ni2+ bioremediation

    A genetically engineered Escherichia coli SE5000 strain simultaneously expressing nickel transport system and metallothionein was constructed to accumulate Ni2+ from aqueous solution. Bioaccumulation was fast and followed linearized Langmuir isotherm. Compared with 1.62 mg/g of Ni2+ uptake capacity by original host E. coli cells, genetically engineered E. coli could bind 7.14 mg/g Ni2+, and it accumulated Ni2+ effectively over a broad range of pH (4-10) and the optimal pH was 8.6. The presence of 1000mg/l Na+ and Ca2+ or 50 mg/l Cd2+ and Pb2+ did not decrease Ni2+ bioaccumulation significantly, but Mg2+, Hg2+, Cr3+ and Cu2+ posed severe deleterious influences on Ni2+ uptake by genetically engineered E. coli.     蘑菇褐变过程主要是由于其酪氨酸酶的催化作用引起的,寻找该酶抑制剂在食品保鲜和储藏中的应用具有重要的意义.作者在实验中,发现没食子酸十二烷基酯和没食子酸香叶酯对蘑菇酪氨酸酶有较强的抑制作用,测定它们抑制蘑菇酪氨酸酶二酚酶的酶活力下降50%的抑制剂浓度(IC50)分别为1.55和0.25 mmol/L.显示没食子酸香叶酯的抑制作用强度是没食子酸十二烷基酯的6倍.研究了这两种抑制剂对蘑菇酪氨酸酶的抑制作用动力学,结果表明:没食子酸十二烷基酯和没食子酸香叶酯对酶的抑制作用均表现为可逆反应,前者为反竞争性,其抑制常数KIS为0.636 mmol/L;而后者为混合型,抑制常数KI和KIS分别为0.133和0.453 mmol/L

    用菠萝蛋白酶对南瓜进行酶解,研制生产南瓜粉,实验结果表明:0.04%菠萝蛋白酶pH 6.35条件下,50℃酶解5h为最佳酶解条件.并对南瓜粉进行成分分析,其水分、灰分、脂肪、糖类物质、蛋白质、果胶含量分别为8.34%,5.61%,0.41%,58.46%,13.24%,1.82%.另外比较了南瓜粉与灵芝粉和莲子粉中的一些金素元素含量.研究结果为南瓜中有效营养成分的提取和开发利用提供了科学依据

    Preparation of biochars from biogas residue and adsorption of ammonia-nitrogen in biogas slurry

    以生物产甲烷的副产物沼渣为原料,用5种不同的方法通过化学活化法制备生物炭,实验结果表明5种生物炭对沼液中的氨氮都有吸附效果,而氢氧化钾活化制备的生物炭(kOH-CC)对氨氮的吸附效果相对较好,吸附剂对氨氮的吸附符合准二级吸附动力学,吸附等温线表现为lAngMuIr型,通过拟合计算最大吸附容量能达到120 Mg·g-1。对生物炭进行bET、扫描电镜及红外等表征,分析了kOH-CC生物炭吸附氨氮过程的作用机理。Five types of biochars were prepared through chemical activation utilizing fermentation residue from biogas plants.NaOH, KOH, H2SO4, H3PO4 and ZnCl2 were used as chemical activating agents.Biochars could absorb ammonia-nitrogen in biogas slurry.Biochar derived from KOH treatment(KOH-CC) showed better adsorption efficiency than the others.The adsorption process followed pseudo-second-order kinetics, and the adsorption isotherm could be fitted to Langmuir equation.Simulation test indicated that the maximum adsorption capacity could reach 120 mg·g-1.The properties of KOH-CC were characterized by BET, SEM, XRD and FTIR.The machanism of ammonia-nitrogen adsorption was discussed.国家重点基础研究发展计划项目(2013CB733505)~

    Production of β-glucanase by cultivation of immobilized recombinant E.coli cells in a packed bed reactor

    以多孔陶瓷为载体吸附法固定重组大肠杆菌E.coli JM 109-pLF3表达胞外β-葡聚糖酶。考察了固定床间歇培养时循环流速和曝气量对发酵液酶活力的影响。当循环流速达到44.19mL/min,曝气量达到0.6mL/min时,培养48h后,发酵液的酶活力达100.3U/mL。固定化细胞具有良好的重复使用能力,在连续5批次实验中,培养48h后的酶活力均在100U/mL左右。固定床连续培养时,固定化细胞能够保持恒定的产酶效率,当稀释率为0.05h-1时,发酵液中得到的酶活力为39.1U/mL。β-glucanase produced by immobilized Escherichia coli JM 109-pLF3 in a packed bed bioreactor was studied.In batch fermentation,the highest enzyme activity of 100.3 U/mL was achieved at a recycling rate of 44.49 mL/min and an aeration rate of 0.6 mL/min after 48 h cultivation.In repeated batch operation,the enzyme activity up to 100 U/mL was obtained in 5 cycless,howing high stability of the immobilized cells.In continuous fermentation,the production of β-glucanase by immobilized cells was kept more or less constant.When the dilution rate was 0.05 h-1,the enzyme activity in the fermentation broth was 39.1 U/mL.厦门市科技计划项目(No.3502Z20055017
