Dimensional Reduction, Seiberg--Witten Map and Supersymmetry

It is argued that dimensional reduction of Seiberg-Witten map for a gauge field induces Seiberg-Witten maps for the other noncommutative fields of a gauge invariant theory. We demonstrate this observation by dimensionally reducing the noncommutative N=1 SYM theory in 6 dimensions to obtain noncommutative N=2 SYM in 4 dimensions. We explicitly derive Seiberg-Witten maps of the component fields in 6 and 4 dimensions. Moreover, we give a general method to define the deformed supersymmetry transformations that leaves the actions invariant after performing the Seiberg-Witten maps.Comment: 14 pages. One Ref. added. N=1 SYM Action and BRST Cohomology

The relation between BRST cohomology and the N=1 supersymmetric Yang-Mills action in 4 dimensions is discussed. In particular, it is shown that both off and on shell N=1 SYM actions are related to a lower dimensional field polynomial by solving the descent equations, which is obtained from the cohomological analysis of linearized Slavnov-Taylor operator \B, in the framework of Algebraic Renormalization. Furthermore we show that off and on shell solutions differ only by a \B- exact term, which is a consequence of the fact that the cohomology of both cases are same.Comment: 14 Pages, LaTex. N=2 Super Yang Mills Action and BRST Cohomology

The extended BRST cohomology of N=2 super Yang-Mills theory is discussed in the framework of Algebraic Renormalization. In particular, N=2 supersymmetric descent equations are derived from the cohomological analysis of linearized Slavnov-Taylor operator \B. It is then shown that both off- and on-shell N=2 super Yang-Mills actions are related to a lower-dimensional gauge invariant field polynomial Tr\f^2 by solving these descent equations. Moreover, it is found that these off- and on-shell solutions differ only by a \B-exact term, which can be interprated as a consequence of the fact that the cohomology of both cases are the same.Comment: Latex, 1+13 page

In this last century, world had grown faster than before; now people need more furniture than in the past century. More furniture means, more particleboards and more adhesives. Wood adhesives are used in every step of furniture manufacturing. Wood adhesives aim to bond wooden materials with each other or with different materials. Today, production with a faster pace is more important. Furniture production lines could be more productive with fast curing glues. Wood adhesives are used in more than 70% of wood products today in the world. The main reason is their use in gluing furniture joints and wood composite materials. A social democratic party in Istanbul during the post-armistice years

The future founder of the Social Democratic Party (Sosyal Demokrat Fırkası, SDF), Doctor Hasan Rıza’s (bin Esat) relationship with the socialist movement began during the Second Constitutional Period.1 A permanent member of the Medical Society, Dr. Hasan Rıza resigned from the Committee of Union and Progress (CUP) with a letter he wrote in January 1911.2 He subsequently adopted socialism, and in 1913–1914 contacted the Socialist International to inquire how to become a member of the organization.3 The SDF, however, was not established during this period, but following World War I, which ended in defeat for the Ottoman Empire. The socialist parties and groups founded at the beginning of the Second Constitutional Period could not survive in the authoritarian political atmosphere that emerged after the assassination of Mahmut Şevket Pasha in July 1913 and could only begin a reorganization process once the CUP government, which had been ruling unilaterally since January 1913, fell from power. At the end of 1918, the SDF was among the first leftist parties to emerge during this period.4 In addition to Dr. Hasan Rıza, who was listed as the leader of the party in its founding application, twelve other people are mentioned (fig. 1).Publisher's Versio

Dynamic analysis of flexible mechanisms by finite element method

Kinematics and kinetics of the four-bar mechanism having rigid and flexible links are presented for finite element modelling of the flexible mechanism. Equations of motion for rigid and flexible four-bar mechanisms are derived by using Lagrangian dynamics to show the theoretical approach. In order to find the natural frequencies of the flexible four-bar mechanism for different configurations, eigenanalysis of the mechanism is carried out by considering the discrete crank positions. Dynamic natural frequencies based on the motion induced axial loads are found by using the discrete inertia forces acting on the nodes of the finite element model. The mode shapes of the flexible four-bar mechanism are also found and plotted with undeformed configurations
