    Diagnostic imaging of sialolithiasis

    The existence of possible pathological conditions of the salivary glands requires the use of certain imaging techniques, which contributes to a better diagnosis of the disorder and proper treatment. Stones, inflammatory processes and tumors are conditions that are accompanied by unpleasant symptoms inside the oral cavity. Sialolithiasis is the presence of stones in the salivary glands and is a common pathological disorder. The aim of this paper is to present the diagnostic imaging of sialolithiasis. That includes the methods of dental radiography and different methods of sialography. Conventional imaging techniques in dental radiography have been abandoned over time. USG and sialography methods are more often used in clinical practice nowadays. Sialographic methods include the application of a contrast medium, which results in a better visualization of the excretory ducts of the salivary glands, in both conventional and digital imaging. CT and MRI sialography methods visualize smaller stones better in the salivary excretory ducts, with some limitations. The results of the recently reviewed scientific researches show that the radiographic imaging methods for sialolithiasis are complementary. Sialography and USG are the initial methods in diagnosing sialolithiasis, but the use of CT and MR can provide valuable additional diagnostic information

V návrhovej časti sú uvedené možné zlepšenia a ich možné prínosy pre podnik v prípade ich zrealizovania.This bachelor´s thesis is focused on storing and logistics operations with non-reversible packaging material in a industrial company. In analytical part is analysed current situation of non-reversible packaging material, its storing and process of supplying production units with this material. In proposal part are suggested some improvements and possible contributions in case of applying these improvements.

    Ovisnost o medijima u višestrukoj krizi: informiranje i povjerenje u medije nakon potresa uslijed pandemije koronavirusa

    The paper examines the relationship between trust in media and information seeking from the media dependency theory perspective. Its purpose is to explore different goals in media use during crisis, and the role of trust and perception of misinformation. Research was done in Croatia in spring 2020, when citizens were experiencing a crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and an earthquake hitting the capital city of Zagreb. It is based on an online survey on a convenience sample (N = 741). Three media use goals were discovered: social understanding, self-understanding, and the play&communication goal. Education, age, and gender were proven to be important in predicting media use during a crisis. Media trust is correlated to social understanding goals and traditional media use, while the perception of being vulnerable to misinformation is correlated to withdrawal from media use.U radu se analizira odnos između povjerenja u medije i informiranja iz perspektive teorije ovisnosti o medijima. Cilj je istraživanja otkriti ciljeve upotrebe medija tijekom krize te način na koji povjerenje i percepcija misinformacija utječu na upotrebu medija. Istraživanje je provedeno u proljeće 2020. godine, tijekom pandemije virusa Covid-19, a nakon potresa koji je pogodio Zagreb. Podaci su prikupljeni internetskom anketom na prigodnom uzorku (N = 741). Identificirana su tri cilja upotrebe medija: razumijevanje društva, razumijevanje sebe te igra i komunikacija. Obrazovanje, dob i spol značajni su prediktori upotrebe medija tijekom krize. Povjerenje u medije povezano je s upotrebom tradicionalnih medija i potrebom za razumijevanjem društva, dok je percepcija izloženosti misinformacijama korelirana sa smanjenom upotrebom medija

    Promoting Meaningful Partnerships with Lived Experience Experts in High Quality Research: Considerations for Funders

    For the past several years, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Casey Family Programs, and the William T. Grant Foundation have funded and worked in close partnership with more than 50 individuals representing a broad array of experts, stakeholders, and people with lived experience to develop a 21st Century Research Agenda for a Child and Family Well-Being System, which comprises the most pressing research gaps that span each aspect of child welfare system involvement, including: community-based family support and maltreatment prevention, child protective services involvement and prevention of family separation, and out-of-home care and post-permanency services. Partnering organizations include Black Administrators in Child Welfare (BACW), the National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA), Child Trends Hispanic Institute, the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA), the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA), Social Current, and the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare (AASWSW).As part of this effort, a team of six lived experience experts (i.e., individuals with lived experience with the child welfare system—including two young adults with foster care histories, two birth parents, a grandparent/kinship caregiver, and a foster caregiver) have been equal partners in project leadership, serving in various roles related to project development and dissemination, and serving as full voting members of the project's Steering Committee. This type of sustained collaboration is essential for forward movement.Given the unprecedented nature and scale of this partnership, we commissioned a brief describing the partnership process and outlining guidance for funders in supporting meaningful partnerships between researchers and lived experience stakeholders

    Studies in the nineteen-eighties showed that advertising images of computers were gendered, with women relatively less represented, and shown with less empowered roles, problems or presented as sexual objects. This paper uses a mix of content and interpretative analysis to analyse current imagery in consumerist and professional society publications. It reveals the present variation and complexity of the iconography of computers and people across different domains of representation, with the continuation of gender bias in subtle forms

    Regionalne razlike unutar Europske unije i unutar samih država članica oduvijek predstavljaju barijeru harmoniziranom razvoju i postizanju kohezije te je stoga regionalna politika jedna od najstarijih politika Unije. U teoretskom dijelu ovog rada objašnjena je definicija regionalne politike i strukturnih fondova, te ostali osnovni pojmovi vezani uz regionalnu politiku i strukturne fondove. U analitičkom dijelu je prikazana povijest i razvoj regionalne politike, regionalna politika trenutačnog vremenskog razdoblja 2014.-2020., oblici strukturnih i investicijskih fondova. U zadnjem dijelu je prikazan utjecaj regionalne politike EU na Republiku Hrvatsku u pretpristupnom razdoblju i razdoblju nakon priključenja EU. Za uspješno vođenje politike regionalnog razvoja na nacionalnoj i regionalnoj razini, upravljanje lokalnim razvojem, razvojem gospodarstva i gospodarskog sektora, razvojem poduzeća, gospodarskih i drugih subjekata, iznimno je važno poznavati prioritete i ciljeve Europske unije za relevantno programsko razdoblje. Ti ciljevi mogu se ostvariti financijskom podrškom zemljama članicama EU putem strukturnih fondova.Regional differences inside European Union and between membering countries have always been a barrier to a harmonized development and an achievement of cohesion, which is the reason why regional policy is one of the oldest Union policies. To be able to successfully lead regional development policy on a national aswell as regional level, to manage local development, to be able to lead development of economy and economic sector, to manage business sector development, both economic and other entities, it is of exceptional importance to know priorities and goals of European union for a relevant program period. These goals can be achieved with financial support to EU membering states via structural funds. The theoretical part of this work explains the definition of regional policy and structural funds, as well as other basic concepts related to regional policy and structural funds. The analytical part covers the history and development of regional policy, current regional policy of relevant program period 2014-2010 and different forms of structural and investment funds. The last part covers the influence of EU regional policy on Republic of Croatia in the pre-accession period and in the period after joining the EU

    U radu je bilo riječi o primjeni etičkih načela u gerilskom marketingu. Definirala se etika, odnos etike i morala, etički kodeks, etika u marketingu, etika u marketinškom miksu, odrednice moralnog poslovanja, te etička načela moralnog poslovanja. Osim navedenog objašnjavala se etička problematika u marketingu i rješenja iste. Nadalje, prikazivao se teorijski okvir gerilskog marketinga, njegova definicija, obilježja, povijesni razvoj, razlika između tradicionalnog i gerilskog marketinga, etika i etička načela u gerilskom marketingu, te oblici gerilskog oglašavanja. U zadnjem dijelu rada se analiziralo primjere gerilskih poduzeća iz prakse, na globalnoj razini, te etičnost poslovanja: Unilever USA – brend Axe (proizvod Axe Body Spray), Skydive Switzerland Gmbh – proizvod Swiss Skydive sticker, IKEA – stubišne ladice, poduzeće Asahi Group Holdings - brend Tyskie - pivo Tyskie.The paper discussed the application of ethical principles in guerrilla marketing. Ethics, relationship between ethics and morality, code of ethics, ethics in marketing, ethics in marketing mix, determinants of moral business and ethical principles of moral business were defined. In addition, ethical problems in marketing and their solutions were explained. Furthermore, the theoretical framework of guerrilla marketing, its definition, characteristics, historical development, the difference between traditional and guerrilla marketing, ethics and ethical principles in guerrilla marketing, and forms of guerrilla advertising are presented. In the last part of the paper, examples of guerrilla companies from practice, on a global level, and business ethics were analyzed: Unilever USA - brand Ax (product Ax Body Spray), Skydive Switzerland Gmbh - product Swiss Skydive sticker, IKEA - staircase drawers, company Asahi Group Holdings - brand Tyskie - Tyskie beer

    Táto diplomová práca je zameraná na návrh logistickej koncepcie vybraného výrobného úseku vo výrobnom podniku s využitím logistickej metódy práve včas. V analytickej časti je analyzovaná súčasná situácia v oblasti riadenia materiálových tokov pre zvolené výrobné oblasti, spôsoby zásobovania výrobných liniek a veľkosť zásoby skladovanej vo výrobných oblastiach. V návrhovej časti sú uvedené návrhy na zlepšenia v rôznych oblastiach spolu s návrhom novej logistickej koncepcie a možným ekonomickým zhodnotením v prípade zrealizovania koncepcie a týchto návrhov.This diploma´s thesis is focused on design of the logistics concept of selected production section in manufacturing firm with using logistics method Just In Time. In analytical part is analysed current situation of managing material flows for selected production sections, ways of supplying production units and amount of stock which is stored in production areas. In proposal part are suggested some changes in various spheres along with new design of the logistics concept and possible economical contributions in case of applying this logistics concept.

    Diplomski rad „Model elektroničkog poslovanja personalizacije bicikala“ se temelji na primjeni elektroničkog poslovanja u svakodnevnom poslovanju poduzeća. Elektroničko poslovanje podrazumijeva korištenje informatičke i internetske tehnologije, a primjenom personalizacije poduzeća spretno odgovaraju na zahtjeve i želje kupaca prilagodbom svojih proizvoda i usluga. Kroz pojmovno određenje elektroničkog poslovanja, Web 2.0 tehnologije i personalizaciju uviđam da između njih postoji snažna povezanost i potencijal koju svako poduzeće treba primjenjivati ukoliko želi ostvariti konkurentsku prednost u ovom dinamičnom tržištu. Funkcioniranje elektroničkog poslovanja prikazano je na primjeru poduzeća LED Bike koje u svom poslovanju primjenjuje elektroničko poslovanje. Glavni proizvod poduzeća LED Bike je upravo personalizirani proizvod napravljen od led dioda koji služi za osvjetljavanje kotača bicikala. Osim što će ovaj proizvod zbog svoje uočljivosti podignuti razinu sigurnosti biciklista u prometu na višu razinu, on ujedno kreira i novi trend među ljubiteljima bicikala. Kako bi što više ljudi saznalo za taj proizvod koriste se marketinški alati oglašavanja gdje se uz pomoć elektroničkog poslovanja kreiraju web stranice i mobilne aplikacije koje nude mogućnosti personalizacije proizvoda. Za dobivanje povratnih informacija od potencijalnih korisnika o zanimljivosti proizvoda koristilo se anketno istraživanje koje je provedeno na 223 ispitanika. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali da veliki broj ispitanika posjeduje bicikl i da zbog svijesti o opasnostima na cesti su spremni izdvojiti manje od 100 kuna za personalizirani proizvod od led dioda kojim bi njihova vožnja biciklom postala sigurnija. Zbog toga što više ispitanika nije upoznato s postojanjem proizvoda od led dioda koji bi povećao sigurnost biciklista u prometu potrebno je puno financijskih sredstava i vremena uložiti u marketinške alate kako bi potencijalni kupci saznali da takav proizvod postoji na tržištu

    Utjecaj tvrdoće montažne trake za polimerne ploče na kvalitetu reprodukcije u fleksotisku

    U današnje vrijeme fleksotisak se nametnuo kao tehnika tiska broj jedan u svijetu tiskarske industrije. U samim počecima fleksotisak nije smatran kvalitetnom tiskarskom tehnikom. Ipak, tijekom godina njegova kvaliteta je rasla te je postajao sve zastupljeniji u tiskarskoj industriji. Konstantnim unapređivanjem tehnologije i inovacijama kvaliteta proizvoda koju fleksotisak može isporučiti je značajno napredovala. Izrazito veliku primjenu ima kod tiska ambalažnih materijala, etiketa, papira, filmova te raznih folija. Proces tiska sastoji se od mnogo segmenata koji moraju biti precizno i kvalitetno odrađeni kako bi krajnji proizvod zadovoljio kupca. Kroz teoretski dio rada, čitatelj se može upoznati sa segmentima koji čine fleksotisak. Od principa rada, sustav za obojenje, bojila, tiskovnih ploča, rastriranja, graviranja aniloks valjaka, montažnih traka pa do deformacija koje se javljaju prilikom tiska. Eksperimentalni dio rada sastoji se od istraživanja dva parametra. Ispituje se kako određena tvrdoća montažne trake u kombinaciji s određenom tvrdoćom tiskarske ploče utječe na gustoću obojenja (eng. Density) te na prirast raster tonske vrijednosti, RTV-a. Istraživanje se vrši na LDPE podlozi. Prilikom istraživanja koriste se dvije tiskarske ploče proizvođača DuPont - Cyrel Easy ESE i Cyrel Easy DPR. Tiskarske ploče montirane na temeljne cilindre u kombinaciji s pet različitih tvrdoća montažnih traka. Mjerenje u svrhe istraživanja odrađeno je pomoću uređaja X-Rite eXacta advanced, koji je ujedno spektrofotometar i denzitometar. Dobiveni rezultati prikazani su pomoću grafova i tablica
