Contrarréplica a la contestación de Julio Palacios a su anterior artículo en el que Ortiz Fornaguera identifica errores de Palacios y analiza el experimento de Kantor de 1962, que en principio se interpretó como contrario a las teorías de Einstein. Estos dos artículos de Ortiz Fornaguera suponen la única polémica publica aparecida en medios científicos en España sobre la teoría de Palacios

Sobre una nueva teoría de la relatividad

Artículo que demuestra las inconsistencias de la teoría alternativa de Julio Palacios basándose en cuestiones de axiomática y en otros errores de interpretación.During the last few years a new form of relativisti/e theory has evolved from an approach to the epistemological bearing of relativity due to Prof. Palacios. The comparison of Palacios' new scheme with the conventional form of the special theory of relativity shows, however, that a renormalization procedure suffices to fill the gap between the two theories. The paper also presents some comments on the bases of the new theory

Calibratge, caracterització i aplicació d'un sistema de mesura ambulatori de la temperatura de la pell i l'activitat física

The project focuses on the design and development of a portable peripheral temperature measurement device to study the sleep cycle that is closely linked. The distal skin temperature increases around the first hours of the night, reaching the maximum when the user is completely slept, where it remains constant until the awakening begins. This is the continuation of a previous project where improvements have been made. Changes have been made in the interconnection of the sensors and the user interface. Moreover, a calibration procedure to correct the error due to the ambient temperature drifts on the skin temperature has been made to obtain an accurate system that correctly acquires the temperature of the distal skin. Some statistics applied to the measurements allow to detect when a user has a good quality sleep. Physical activity, another function added in the project, has been seen to be related with changes in temperature obtained at night

Its objective is make easier for the archeologists do their stratigraphy works directly on the field, so that they can do that task there with mobile devices in a distributed way with the interactivity well-known on these device applications, is that to say a "look and feel" environment able to do that task in an intuitive way with high visibility of the work done and feedback. So finally, be able to extract documentation of the work done with this application for its following study

Personalized nanomedicine: a revolution at the nanoscale

Nanomedicine is an interdisciplinary research field that results from the application of nanotechnology to medicine and has the potential to significantly improve some current treatments. Specifically, in the field of personalized medicine, it is expected to have a great impact in the near future due to its multiple advantages, namely its versatility to adapt a drug to a cohort of patients. In the present review, the properties and requirements of pharmaceutical dosage forms at the nanoscale, so-called nanomedicines, are been highlighted. An overview of the main current nanomedicines in pre-clinical and clinical development is presented, detailing the challenges to the personalization of these therapies. Next, the process of development of novel nanomedicines is described, from their design in research labs to their arrival on the market, including considerations for the design of nanomedicines adapted to the requirements of the market to achieve safe, effective, and quality products. Finally, attention is given to the point of view of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulation issues applied to the specific case of personalized medicine. The authors expect this review to be a useful overview of the current state of the art of nanomedicine research and industrial production, and the future opportunities of personalized medicine in the upcoming years. The authors encourage the development and marketing of novel personalized nanomedicines

IV-Taller de Formulación y Gestión Académica de la Investigación

La actividad pretendió abordar el tema de la obviedad que parece estar presente en muchas de las personas investigadoras, pero que a la hora de formular las propuestas eso que parece obvio no se incluye debilitando las propuestas. Además, de también motivar a jóvenes investigadores para que, dándole algunas herramientas generales, se pudieran decidir a plantear propuestas para obtener fondos corrientes o fondos concursables.
