    The research on financial factors and its effect to dividend policy of Company which is listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange have been carried out by several researchers, but the results showed inconsistent. This research aims to test the influence of liquidity ratio, profitability ratio, market ratio, and its effect on dividend policy of Cigarette Company. The liquidity ratio proxied by Current Ratio, profitability ratio proxied by Net Profit Margin, market ratio proxied by Earning Per Share, and dividend policy proxied by Dividend Per Share. The sample used are 3 companies, listed in IDX period of 2001-2014. Data used in this study is secondary data by using financial statements. The Data analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result showed that net profit margin has a significant effect on dividend per share whereas current ratio and earnings per share has no significant effect on dividend per share of cigarette company which listed in IDX period of 2004-2014.     Abstrak - Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi suatu praktek bisnis, khususnya bisnis roti di Monique Cake and Bakery. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode interviu, analisis dokumen, dan observasi. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini berupa saran dan akan menitikberatkan pada analisa studi kelayakan bisnis mengenai caracara untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi, dan inovasi melalui asumsi logis dan perhitungan, sekaligus rekomendasi yang bersifat kualitatif guna memperoleh pertimbangan yang lebih dalam. Diharapkan pula pihak pemilik bisnis dapat mempunyai gambaran lebih jelas mengenai rangkaian kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman yang ada di dalam bisnis roti ini sehingga dapat memikirkan strategi yang dapat dilakukan di waktu mendatang .     Determinan Nilai Perusahaan Manufaktur : Model Pengujian dengan Chow-Test dan Hausman-Test

    The aim of company establishing is to increase company’s value in order to give prosperity for its stakeholders. And there are many internal and external factors can influence the company’s value. So, this study has aim to analyze determinant of manufacture companies’s value by using Chow-Test and Hausman-Test. This study has 109 manufacture companies with purposive sampling method and uses panel data regression as data analysis method. The examination of study model by using Chow-Test and Hausman-Test shows that the proper study model examination is Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The result of Fixed Effect Model shows that company size influences positifically and significantly on company’s value. Then, institutional ownership and investment policy influence negatively and significantly on company’s value. While, profitability, funding decision, devident policy, managerial ownership and cash holding do not influence significantly on company’s value. As there is supervision from institution party on management performance, it is going to make management do financial decision that related with company’s value movement carefully.    Keywords: Company’s internal factors, Agency Theory and Company’s valu

    Right now the amount of bank in Indonesia has reached 115 bank (OJK). Increasing number of bank has impact to increasing level of competition. Marketing becomes one of important activity in the company to keep the company existency to develop and get a profit. This research aims to test the influence of service marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, process, people and physical evidence) on customer saving decision at PT Bank Mayapada International Tbk Cabang A.Yani Pekanbaru. The sample used are 100 respodents by using accidental sampling method. The data analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result showed that product, place, process and person has a significant effect on customer saving decision whereas price, promotion and physical evidence has no significant effect to customer saving decision at PT Bank Mayapada International Tbk Cabang A.Yani Pekanbaru.     Setiap perusahaan dalam menjalankan usahanya mempunyai tujuan yaitu untuk menghasilkan profit yang optimal. Profit mampu memberikan gambaran kinerja perusahaan dalam suatu periode serta menjadi daya tarik bagi investor dalam melakukan kegiatan jual beli saham. Perusahaan manufaktur merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang memberikan peranan penting bagi perekonomian nasional. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari laba perusahaan yang menunjukkan trend meningkat dibandingkan sektor lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, uniqueness dan tangibilitas terhadap struktur modal dan profitabilitas pada perusahaan manufaktur. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2010-2018 sebanyak 145 perusahaan. Sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 96 perusahaan yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan bantuan program AMOS. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa ukuran perusahaan dan tangibilitas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal, uniqueness berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap struktur modal, dan struktur modal berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap profitabilitas. Hasil penelitian mendukung pecking order theory yang menyatakan bahwa semakin rendah nilai hutang perusahaan maka akan meningkatkan profitabilitas perusahaan

    Transformational Leadership in The Hotel Industry: A New Look at The Service-Profit-Chain Concept

    Employee engagement is essential to the Service-Profit-Chain concept as the factor to produce high- quality service that would meet or exceed customer expectations. However, despite its suggested advantages, limited knowledge is known about what causes employee engagement. This study attempts to compre- hensively understand the Service-Profit-Chain concept by encompassing transformational leadership as the preceding factor to employee engagement. It aimed to examine the role of transformational leadership in shaping employee engagement and service quality, which lead to financial performance. The sample groups taken were among the star-rated hotels located in Surabaya, Indonesia. Each hotel was represented by three groups, namely: hotel managers, staff, and hotel customers. The Partial Least Square-SEM method was applied to evaluate the proposed model. The results revealed that the effect of transformational leadership on financial performance is mediated by employee engagement. However, service quality cannot mediate the effect of transformational leadership on financial performance. It is interesting to note that Service-Profit-Chain has some limitations in practice, depending on its strategy. This study is among a few attempts to better understand the Service-Profit-Chain concept application, with transformational leadership as the factor preceding employee engagement specifically in the hotel industry. The application of the Service-Profit-Chain concept in the hotels has some constraints related to the business strategy that hotels select to penetrate the market

    Kinerja Kesehatan Bank Pembangunan Daerah Indonesia Dengan Chow Test dan Hausman Test

    Regional Bank is a commercial bank whose shares owned by the provincial government. So that, the Regional Bank plays indirectly a very large role in regional development. However, these Regional Banks have not contributed significantly to the development of their respective regions. From this description, this study aims to analyze the health performance of Regional Banks after the global economic crisis in 2008 using the Chow Test and the Hausman Test. This study has a population of 26 Regional Banks and a sample of 25 banks which are selected using purposive sampling. The result showed that from their financial ratios, Regional Banks tend to be in very healthy condition. Based on the research period from 2009 to 2019, the Regional Banks also shows results that tend to be very healthy. In terms of financial ratios and research period, the Loan to Deposit ratio tends to show fairly healthy results. Both of these results are supported by adjusted R2 using the Chow Test and Hausman Test of 0.86 which means that all of these financial ratios have an effect of 86% with details that Capital Adequacy Ratio, Net Performing Loan, Net Interest Margin, and Loan to Deposit Ratio has a significant positive effect, while Return on Equity has positive and insignificant effect and Operational Cost of Operating Cost of Operating Income has a significant negative effect on Return on Assets.
