Imagen y propaganda en las primeras amonedaciones del rey de Aragón

This study analyzes aspects of the iconographic repertoire that contributed to reaffirm and strengthen the royal power of one of the most emblematic kings of Aragon of the late eleventh century: Sancho Ramírez. The effigies stamped on his first coins, which should be considered among his most effective propaganda vehicles, will be studied, as will an element that reached a symbolic significance only understandable in relation to the royal institution that, in turn, promoted it: the cross, now developed as the clearest element of monarchical proclamation. In addition to considering the political motivations that lie beneath these representations, the relevance of the county of Urgell will be discussed and, in connection with it, Doña Sancha, a figure worthy of deeper investigation.Este estudio analiza parte del repertorio iconográfico que contribuyó a reafirmar y fortalecer el poder real de uno de los más emblemáticos reyes de Aragón de finales del siglo XI: Sancho Ramírez. Además de profundizar sobre las efigies estampadas en sus primeras monedas, efectivo vehículo de propaganda, se abordará otro elemento que alcanzó una trascendencia simbólica sólo explicable en relación con esta regia institución que, a su vez, la promocionaba: la cruz, que ahora se convertirá en elemento de proclamación monárquica. Además de examinar las motivaciones políticas que subyacen bajo estas representaciones, se evidenciará la relevancia del condado de Urgell y, en relación con él, la personalidad de doña Sancha, sobre la que tanto merecería profundizar

Economic Integration, Competition and Hierarchization of the Atlantic Ports of Northern Spain (13 th-15 th centuries)

Resumen: El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las relaciones y la jerarquía de las villas portuarias del Atlántico norte de España entre los siglos XIII y XV. Los puertos del norte peninsular operaban en un nivel intermedio, regional e internacional, de la estructura comercial europea. Las cincuenta villas portuarias de la costa cantábrica desempeñaron un papel vital en la conectividad urbana del tráfico marítimo internacional entre el Mediterráneo y el Atlántico. El fenómeno portuario del Cantábrico, a pesar de su falta de homogeneidad, fue un éxito porque se basó en algunos factores claves, como las características geográficas, las infraestructuras portuarias, el apoyo regio y unas sociedades muy dinámicas; además, la política y la gobernanza adoptaron unas características comunes y distintas en estas villas periféricas para responder a las necesidades y condiciones locales, muy influidas por su carácter de frontera marítima de la Corona de Castilla.Abstract: The aim of this article is to analyze the relationships and the hierarchy of the port-towns of Atlantic Northern Spain between the 13th and 15th centuries. The port-towns operated in an intermediate level, both regional and international, of the European trade structure. The half a hundred port-towns on the Cantabrian coast played a vital role in the urban connectivity of the international maritime traffi c between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. This phenomenon, despite lacking an homogeneity, was a success because it was based on some key factors, such as geographical features, port infrastructures, royal support and very dynamic societies. Influencia del conocimiento financiero en el bienestar financiero de usuarios de tarjeta de cr?dito y/o pr?stamos personales entre 18 y 79 a?os en Per? en el 2019

En raz?n de que existe incertidumbre y vac?os de informaci?n relacionados a la vulnerabilidad econ?mica y su relaci?n con el conocimiento financiero, esta investigaci?n tiene como objetivo determinar si el nivel de conocimiento financiero influy? significativamente en el bienestar financiero de los usuarios de tarjetas de cr?dito y pr?stamos personales de 18-79 a?os en el Per? en el a?o 2019. La metodolog?a empleada fue de tipo correlacional transversal, con dise?o no experimental. Se utiliz? como base de datos, la informaci?n de la Encuesta Nacional de Capacidades Financieras 2019, realizada por la SBS entre julio y agosto del 2019 a nivel nacional; y, como gu?a de determinaci?n de variables, metodolog?a y an?lisis, las provistas por la SBS y la OECD/INFE. La poblaci?n contiene 1205 observaciones; y, la muestra 219. Para el an?lisis se aplicaron: Prueba de Alfa de Cronbach; Prueba de correlaci?n de Pearson; Prueba de Rachas; y, Pruebas Logit Binomiales y Multinomiales. El estudio concluy? que el conocimiento financiero influy? significativamente en el bienestar financiero de los usuarios de tarjetas de cr?dito y pr?stamos personales de 18-79 a?os en el Per? en el a?o 2019

Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells do not enhance intra-synovial tendon healing despite engraftment and homing to niches within the synovium

Intra-synovial tendon injuries display poor healing, which often results in reduced functionality and pain. A lack of effective therapeutic options has led to experimental approaches to augment natural tendon repair with autologous mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) although the effects of the intra-synovial environment on the distribution, engraftment and functionality of implanted MSCs is not known. This study utilised a novel sheep model which, although in an anatomically different location, more accurately mimics the mechanical and synovial environment of the human rotator cuff, to determine the effects of intra-synovial implantation of MSCs

La influencia del liderazgo sobre el nivel de desarrollo de transformaci?n digital en las organizaciones

El prop?sito de este estudio fue identificar si el estilo de liderazgo (transformacional y/o transaccional) impacta en el nivel de desarrollo de transformaci?n digital. El cuestionario empleado para medir el nivel de desarrollo de TD fue basado en el del MIT y Capgemini. Este fue actualizado y validado por 05 expertos, adicionando 6 nuevas preguntas y 2 dimensiones: estrategia digital y ciberseguridad. El instrumento acad?mico empleado para medir el tipo de liderazgo fue el MLQ 6S Form de amplio uso pr?ctico. Con una muestra de 74 cuestionaros validados se estableci? un an?lisis de regresi?n jer?rquica de 4 niveles para comprobar la hip?tesis y determinar si las variables agregadas muestran una mejora en la explicaci?n de la variable dependiente. Los resultados de la investigaci?n indicaron que el liderazgo transformacional si influye en el nivel de desarrollo de TD, por lo que contar con l?deres transformacionales contribuye positivamente al desarrollo del nivel de TD. Por otro lado, el liderazgo transaccional si influye en el nivel de desarrollo de TD en ausencia del liderazgo transformacional, por lo que en ocasiones se requiere el liderazgo transaccional para el desarrollo de algunos proyectos que requieren de una mayor estructura y consistencia

Proximity of Iron Pnictide Superconductors to a Quantum Tricritical Point

We determine the nature of the magnetic quantum critical point in the doped LaFeAsO using a set of constrained density functional calculations that provide ab initio coefficients for a Landau order parameter analysis. The system turns out to be remarkably close to a quantum tricritical point, where the nature of the phase transition changes from first to second order. We compare with the effective field theory and discuss the experimental consequences.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure

Determination of nonthermal bonding origin of a novel photoexcited lattice instability in SnSe

Interatomic forces that bind materials are largely determined by an often complex interplay between the electronic band-structure and the atomic arrangements to form its equilibrium structure and dynamics. As these forces also determine the phonon dispersion, lattice dynamics measurements are often crucial tools for understanding how materials transform between different structures. This is the case for the mono-chalcogenides which feature a number of lattice instabilities associated with their network of resonant bonds and a large tunability in their functional properties. SnSe hosts a novel lattice instability upon above-bandgap photoexcitation that is distinct from the distortions associated with its high temperature phase transition, demonstrating that photoexcitation can alter the interatomic forces significantly different than thermal excitation. Here we report decisive time-resolved X-ray scattering-based measurements of the nonequlibrium lattice dynamics in SnSe. By fitting interatomic force models to the excited-state dispersion, we determine this instability as being primarily due to changes in the fourth-nearest neighbor bonds that connect bilayers, with relatively little change to the intralayer resonant bonds. In addition to providing critical insight into the nonthermal bonding origin of the instability in SnSe, such measurements will be crucial for understanding and controlling materials properties under non-equilibrium conditions
