Grassland Geopoetics: Son Jarocho and the Black Sense of Place of Plantations and Pastures
This essay considers how the grasslands of the Mexican region of El Sotavento entangle with the history of racial capitalism and with traditional Sotaventine music. Throughout this text, I argue that son Jarocho music and its poetics counterpoint racist colonial discourses making space for ways of being beyond racial capitalism. I review the history of Sotaventine grasslands, counterpointing their historical becomings with ethnographic materials and current poetic expressions. I especially focus on two sones: La Caña, written in the 1990s by Patricio Hidalgo Belli regarding sugarcane, and the 18th century Toro Zacamandú that speaks of cowboying. Using scholarly writings on the plantation and plantation histories from McKittrick and Glissant, King's work on fungibility, scholarship on Maroon landscapes and marronage, and an array of writers who explore poetics and geopoetics, we shall see how racial capitalism and the historical becomings of plantations and pastures are reflected and overturned in Sotaventine sounds

Double-Virtual NNLO QCD Corrections for Five-Parton Scattering: The Quark Channels
We complete the computation of two-loop helicity amplitudes required to
obtain next-to-next-to-leading order QCD corrections for three-jet production
at hadron colliders, including all contributions beyond the leading-color
approximation. The analytic expressions are reconstructed from finite-field
samples obtained with the numerical unitarity method. We find that the
reconstruction is significantly facilitated by exploiting the overlaps between
rational coefficient functions of quark and gluon processes, and we display
their compact generating sets in the appendix of the paper. We implement our
results in a public code, and demonstrate its suitability for phenomenological
applications.Comment: 29 pages, 1 figure, 5 tables - ancillaries at

Acoustic oscillations in stars near the tip of the red giant branch
Small amplitude oscillations are observed in red giant branch (RGB) stars.
Data on such oscillations are a source of information about the objects,
notably about properties of convection in their envelopes and about the systems
these objects inhabit. The OGLE-III catalog contains data for about 80 thousand
small amplitude variable red giants (OSARGs) in the Large Magellanic Cloud.
We want to explain variability in OSARGs as the solar-like oscillation and to
associate the peaks in power spectra with frequencies of acoustic modes. We use
data on reddening-free magnitudes of the objects and interpret them in terms of
stellar physical parameters using tabulated isochrones calculated for ages and
composition parameters corresponding to the upper RGB of the LMC. Massive data
on the peak frequencies and amplitudes are compared with expectations for
stochastically excited oscillations. The frequencies are also compared with
those calculated for radial modes in envelope models with parameters taken from
the isochrones.
In stars close to the tip of the RGB, the peaks in power spectra are found in
the 0.1-1.0 Hz range, which is consistent with extrapolation of the
frequency-luminosity relation for the solar-like oscillation. The dominant
peaks occur close to the first two radial overtones. The increase in amplitude
with luminosity is slower than linear. The exponent s=0.9 is similar to what is
found from recent analysis of CoRoT data on less luminous red giants. Frequency
separations between dominant peaks are found to be smaller by about 20% than
calculated separations between these modes. After examining various
possibilities, we left this discrepancy unexplained.
The small amplitude variability of stars at the RGB tip is likely to be
caused by a stochastic excitation of acoustic oscillations, but interpreting of
individual peaks in power spectra presents a problem.Comment: Accepted for publication in Astronomy and Astrophysics, 6 pages, 6

CONCEPTUAL MODEL OF INTEGRAL INNOVATION FOR DEVELOPERS, WITHIN THE SUPPLY OF AUTO PARTS IN EMERGING COUNTRIES: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
The objective of this article is the development of a proposal for a comprehensive conceptual model of innovation for developers, within the supply of auto parts in the context of emerging economies, based on a systematic review of innovation capabilities. For this purpose, prestigious digital sources were used to collect and select related literature, taking into account global quality metrics; the results yielded a selection of 50 articles that address in depth the research constructs with updated studies, and that include both the contexts of the research objective and alternative contexts with important theoretical contributions; The results of the systematic review also clearly show a classification of internal and external factors of the organizations, which influence the dimensions of innovation capacity and developed constructs, as well as their role in a proposal that integrates them in a conceptual model for managing innovation, using the theoretical bases of open innovation and the PDCA cycle
