Mestizo in the World of Culture: Gustav Lebon and Afanasy Prokopyevich Schapov

The article is devoted to the key theories of crossbreeding. The pessimistic theory of A. Gobino stands out, shared by Louis Bussenard, the author of the adventure novel ”The Thieves of Diamonds”, G. Lebon’s theory of demarcation, and A. Shchapov’s optimistic theory. The concept of Afanasy Schapov is introduced into the anthropological and genderological discourse, it is proposed for further study and reception. This study is part of the “Challenges and Opportunities of Economic Integration within a Wider European and Eurasian Space” project, an ambitious undertaking seeking to scope the complex issues and potentials for economic cooperation between the European Union (EU) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), as well as with third-party countries of the vast Eurasian landmass. It is based on the intense research going on in over 25 countries, including Member-States of both the EU and the EAEU, the United States, China, Japan, Turkey and Ukraine, and on the results of seven international project workshops held at IIASA from June 2013 to April 2016, which discussed and synthesized these analyses. The project workshops were attended by renowned academics and high-level policymakers, including representatives from the European Commission and the Eurasian Economic Commission. Отмечается наличие тренда на междисциплинарные, полидисциплинарные, мультидисциплинарные исследования, вызывающего проблемы методологического и этического рода. Если вопрос методологии междисциплинарного исследования является внутренней рамкой междисциплинарности, то вопросы этики междисциплинарных исследований представляют собой внешнюю рамку. Как воспринимается проводник междисциплинарной методологии в научном сообществе? Автор предлагает рассмотреть данную проблему в системе антропокультурных аналогий.The article raises the question of the anthropocultural foundations of the ethics of interdisciplinary research. There is a trend towards interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, multidisciplinary research, causing problems of a methodological and ethical kind.
