    Background: Alzheimer is a disease with decreased episodic memory function and cognitive function. Thetreatment system is carried out by inhibiting the performance of genes that have an Alzheimer's stimulus function.Alzheimer sufferers have a component that functions as a cholin stimulator and Acetyl CoA isAcetylcholintransferase. Treatment is done by inhibiting Acetylcholintransferase with Cymbopogon citratus andCurcuma longa. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential phytoserol content of Cymbopogoncitratus and Curcuma longa as anti-AlzheimerMethods: The method used is the in-silico study approach. Protein Acetylcholintransferase (2fy3) was obtainedfrom Protein Data Bank (PDB). The three-dimensional structure of phytosterol compounds identified inCymbopogon citratus and Curcuma longa were downloaded from the PubChem database. Proteins and bioactivecompounds were prepared sequentially using the Discovery studio ver 19.0.0 and the PyRX 0.8 program.Proteins and compounds were interacted with the PyRX 0.8 program and analyzed using the Discovery Studiover.21.1.0 softwareResults: The results showed that the phytoserol content of Cymbopogon citratus and Curcuma longa (1,8Cineole, 3,7-dimethyl-1,3,6-octatriene, Champene, Decanal Selina-6-en-4-ol, Zingiberene) inhibited the activeside of acetylcholinesterase by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase bind amino acid residues through essential oils.This inhibition directly stops the hydrolysis process of acetylcholine into cholin and acetyl CoA so that it canprevent damage to brain cells.Conclusion: The phytoserol content of Cymbopogon citratus and Curcuma longa is predicted to have potentialas anti-Alzheimer through inhibition of Acetylcholintransferas

    Potential of Squid Ink Compounds as Insilicate FabH Protein In Silico

    Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease with the second number of cases in Indonesia. The therapy process is carried out by utilizing one of the waste materials, namely squid ink bags, which are predicted to have active compounds. In the TB cycle, the enzyme FabH is catalyzed as a mediator of lipid synthesis. Inhibition of FabH became the main target through the role of squid ink compounds. The squid ink has a potential as bactery inhibitor. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential of squid ink as an alternative to TB therapy by inhibiting lipid synthesis (FabH). In silico approach was used in this research. Bioactive compound 5,6-dihydroxyindole-2-carboxylic acid (DHICA) (CID: 119405), cinnamic acid (CID: 444539), betaine (CID: 247) were downloaded from PubChem, and FabH protein (PDB ID 2QO1) was downloaded from the protein data bank database. (GDP). Docking used HeX 8.0.0.0, visualization and analysis using Discovery studio ver 21.1.1. Results from the analysis, we found compounds 5,6-dihydroxyindole-2-carboxylic acid (DHICA), cinnamic acid, betaine contained in squid ink molecularly have potential as an alternative TB therapy by inhibiting FabH, the interaction lead to treatment the TB. In vitro and in vivo studies are needed to analyze further before human studies

    Cabai Merah Besar (Capsicum Annum L) merupakan tanaman holtikultura yang dibudidayakan dalam skala kecilnamun memiliki manfaat kesehatan. Cabai Merah Besar (Capsicum Annum L.) juga digunakan untuk pengobatan sakit gigi, bisul, anti parasit, anti inflamasi, antitusif dan juga digunakan sebagai antiseptik, nafsu makan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis potensi senyawa nonivamide dan nordihydrocapsaicin sebagai anti-inflamasi. Kajian penelitian metode in silico. Senyawa Nonivamide (CID :2998) dan Nordihydrocapsaicin (CID: 168836) diperoleh dari PubChem sedangkan COX-2 (6cox) dari Protein Data Bank. Analisis menggunakan HEX 8.0.0 dan ditampilkan Discovery studio client 4.1. Interaksi yang terjadi antara senyawa Nonivamide dan COX-2 membentuk ikatan hidrogen dengan tipe ikatan hidrogen konvensional (CYS47) dan ikatan hidrofobik (LEU152). Selain ikatan hidrogen, juga terdapat sembilan belas residu asam amino menunjukkan adanya gaya Van Der Waals membentuk energi -339.48 cal/mol. Ikatan Nordihydrocapsaicin dengan COX-2 membentuk ikatan pada residu asam amino TRP139 bersifat Pi-Alkyl dan ikatan hidrogen sebagai donor dengan Residu asam amino SER143 energi ikatan sebesar -248.47 cal/mol

    Diabetes melitus tipe 2 (DMT2) adalah penyakit metabolik kronis yang di tandai dengan resistensi insulin. Resistensi insulin menyebabkan hiperglikemia mengakibatkan komplikasi seperti microangiopathy dan macroangiopathy. Sistem imun memproduksi IL-10 sebagai sitokin anti-inflamasi yang berperan sebagai imunostimulator dan imunosupresan pada sistem organ. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi profil gen IL-10 dan ekspresi protein IL-10 pada organ ( ileum, otak, jantung, ginjal, hati, lambung dan paru-paru) tikus (Rattus norvegicus) model DMT2. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 tikus jantan pada kelompok DMT2 dan 3 tikus jantan kelompok kontrol. Metode penelitian, isolasi, amplifikasi dan sekuensing DNA menggunakan primer IL-10. Profil pita protein menggunakan Experion pro-260 dan dot bloting. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perbedaan profil gen IL-10 pada kelompok kontrol dan DMT2. Pada kelompok DMT2 ditemukan delapan mutasi pada organ otak dan dua puluh tujuh pada organ lambung. Profil pita protein dari kelompok kontrol dan DMT2 berbeda, tingkat ekspresi IL-10 kelompok DMT2 pada organ ileum, otak dan hati sangat tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, hewan model DMT2 menunjukan adanya mutasi pada organ otak dan lambung serta menginduksi meningkatnya tingkat ekspresi protein IL-10 pada ileum, otak dan hat

    stress oxidative is a factor promoting metabolic syndrome and other diseases. oxidative stress could be minimalized by exogen and endogen antioxidants. Essential oil from Cymbopogon citratus extract have potential activities as anti-inflammatory and relaxing. This study determined the potential activity as antioxidant through kelch ECH associating protein 1 (KEAP1) inhibition. Four phytosterol compounds from Cymbopogon citratus essential oil, including 3,7-dimethyl-1,3,6-octatriene, decanal, elemol, dan selina- 6-en-4-ol, were downloaded from PubChem database. four compounds were docked with KEAP1 protein and analyzed using Discovery studio ver. 19.0.0.  3,7-dimethyl-1,3,6-octatriene, decanal, elemol, and selina-6-en-4-ol bound to KEAP1 in certain amino acid residues with hydrophobic interaction and hydrogen bond. Interestingly, 3,7-dimethyl-1,3,6-octatriene proved five hydrophobic interaction, higher than decanal and selina-6-en-4-ol. The elemol, and selina-6-en-4-ol interacted with KEAP1 showing lower binding affinity and tight interaction. This study suggested that 3,7-dimethyl-1,3,6-octatriene, decanal, elemol, and selina-6-en-4-ol promoted antioxidant activity.

    Google Classroom merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran jarak jauh yang dapat diakses hanya dengan menggunakan  internet. Persepsi guru dan siswa  terhadap media pembelajaran Google Classroom ini dapat memberikan dampak yang positif bagi siswa maupun guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Google Classroom, persepsi guru dan siswa pada pembelajaran Biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Maumere. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Kualitatif merupakan penelitian yang temuan-temuannya tidak melalui statistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran Google Classroom di SMAN 2 Maumere sangat membantu dalam pengecekan kehadiran dan keaktifan siswa, membantu siswa dalam melihat materi dan tugas yang sudah dikirimkan oleh guru dan dapat mengerjakan semua tugas yang diberikan selama pembelajaran daring. Pemahaman guru dan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran Google Classroom terdapat sedikit perbedaan, sebagian siswa dan guru memahami aplikasi Google Classroom dapat digunakan kapan saja dan dimana saja, tanpa ada kendala apapun

    Background: The tofu industry is growing rapidly in Indonesia. The agricultural and livestock sectors are relatively high and resource owned by Indonesia. One thing that needs to be confirmed in the supply of biogas energy can be utilized tofu waste and cow dung to meet sustainable need as alternative fuels. Methods: This research was carried out in May - July 2021. The process of making installation compositions and anaerobic slimming at the Biology Laboratory, Nusa Nipa Indonesia University. Results: The results of the biogas volume show the potential of tofu waste and cow dung on biogas fires from the second week to the eighth week, the blue and red flames of all treatments showed that the blue flame color was more dominant. Conclusion: Biogas volume (ml) from a mixture of talcum waste and cow dung produced methane gas which was quite high as see from the results of the biogas flame test

    Pembelajaran IPA merupakan salah satu model implementasi kurikulum yang dianjurkan untuk diaplikasikan di jenjang sekolah dasar (SD) dan sekolah menengah pertama (SMP), dan pembelajaran IPA membutuhkan model pembalajaran yang tepat sehingga bisa membuat proses belajar mengajar jadi menarik perhatian peserta didik. Diperlukan suatu media yang baik dan bisa membuat interaksi peserta didik secara penuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis validasi dan kelayakan LKPD Berbasis Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Pada Materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia Kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN Hangalande Kecamatan Kota Baru Kabupaten Ende. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan atau Research and Develompment dengan model 4-D. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa produk p Berbasis Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Pada Materi Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia Kelas VIII SMP sangat valid dengan rerata persentase kevalidan sebesar 92,75 % . Nilai hasil uji tahap 1 pada kelayakan LKPD dengan berbasis inkuiri terbimbing adalah masing-masing sebesar 97,3% dan 97,53% dengan kategori layak. Nilai hasil uji tahap 2 pada kelayakan LKPD dengan berbasis inkuiri terbimbing adalah masing-masing sebesar 96,7 % dan 92,18% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil validasai dari validator menyatakan LKPD adalah sangat valid dan nilai kelayakan pada uji coba tahap 1 dan uji coba tahap 2 adalah sangat layak sehingga produk LKPD yang dikembangkan sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah
