The aim of this research is to evaluate the hygrothermal performances of traditional timber-framed houses’ exterior walls in Turkey to create a base case scenario of hygrothermal behavior as a datum for conservation and restoration projects. There is a unique range of traditional timber-framed houses in Turkey varied according to geographical, social, economic, and cultural characteristics. They are hybrid constructions whereby an infilled timber-framed system is erected on the masonry walls. They are compositions of rectangular studs of wood and infill materials such as adobe, stone, and brick. Most constructed examples may be classified in groups of four depending on infill materials as follows: (1) timber-framed adobe infill, (2) timber-framed brick infill, (3) timber-framed stone infill, and (4) unfilled timber-framed. Within the scope of the research, one example from each type is selected for hygrothermal performance assessments by applying the simulation program DELPHIN 6.1.1. This research is concentrated on the evaluation of hygrothermal performances of the selected types over 4 years (January 01, 2010–January 01, 2014) by investigating the temperature, relative humidity, U-value, and moisture mass model graphics of the cross-section of the wall samples. 2010 was one of the rainiest years and 2013 was one of the less rainy years in the selected locations for the last 10 years. The findings of this paper indicate that when factors such as construction details, materials, and climatic conditions are varied, there may be humidity-based problems in the selected examples. In that case, intersection points of materials, layers, and their relationships should be re-evaluated to improve the hygrothermal performances of the selected walls for conservation and restoration projects

The main goal of this study is to determine mediating role of anxiety in the relationship between organizational justice perceptions and organizational commitment in employee's .The population of this study consist of 59.590 employees who work in tourism establishment certificate restaurant in Ankara. The sample size was calculated by using Yamane (2001)’s formulas 384 and a total of 406 employees was reached. To select the sample, Easy Sampling method was used. A questionnaire was used as data collection tools. A questionnaire consists of four parts that in the first part, the statements about the demographics of the workers, in the second part organizational justice scale developed by Niehoff and Moorman (1993), in the third part organizational commitment scale developed by Mowday, Steers and Porter (1979), and in the forth part, anxiety level developed by Spielberg and others (1970) . Questionnaire forms were filled using face-to-face interview technique. Data obtained within the scope of the study were tested frequency analysis and structural equation model. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that anxiety has a direct positive effect on organizational justice and organizational commitment

Aim:Atopic dermatitis (AD) is the most common chronic skin disease of childhood. Although eczema may be a prominent finding in some primary immune deficiencies, there are very few studies conducted on the frequency of hypogammaglobulinemia in patients with eczema. In our study, we aimed to determine the frequency of hypogammaglobulinemia in patients with AD and the relationship between immunoglobulin levels and eczema severity.Materials and Methods:Patients between the ages of 0-18 years, who were diagnosed with AD between January 2015 and August 2018 in the Department Pediatrics Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, were included in the study. Hypogammaglobulinemia was defined as being less than -2 standard deviation of immunoglobulin A, M and G from normal values for age. Results:The median age of 117 patients included in the study was 11 months [interquartile range (IQR): 6.7-33 months], the median age of eczema onset was 3.5 months (IQR: 2-6 months), the median SCORingAtopicDermatitis at presentation was 13.8 (IQR): 5-32]. Thirty-six (30.8%) patients had low levels in one of the immunoglobulin isotypes and decreased levels of immunoglobulin A (IgA), M and G were found in 21 (17.9%), 18 (15.5%) and 23 (19.7%) patients, respectively. While there was no difference between mild and moderate-severe eczema groups in terms of age at presentation, age of onset of eczema, family history of allergic diseases, smoking exposure, aeroallergen sensitivity, food allergy, the number of patients having hypogammaglobulinemia, and the levels of IgA, M and G, a male predominance and higher number of eosinophils were observed in the moderate-severe eczema group. Conclusion:It is concluded that the evaluation of immunoglobulin levels independent of the severity of eczema is important for the distinction of primary immunodeficiency and the follow-up of patients in terms of transient hypogammaglobulinemia of infancy in patients with AD

Objective:The purpose of this in vitro study was to investigate the reliability of the adhesive remnant index (ARI) score system with different assessment methods and to test the compatibility of the estimators.Materials and Methods:Sixty-eight human premolars were used in this study. The premolar brackets (SmartClip, 3M Unitek, Monrovia, CA, USA) were bonded with a light cure adhesive (Transbond XT, 3M Unitek). Brackets were debonded using a Lloyd LRX testing machine (Lloyd Instruments Plc., Fareham, Hampshire, UK). Special image analysis software with ×20 magnification and naked-eye assessment methods were used to evaluate the adhesive remnant. Four different investigators scored the same samples according to a 4-point scale. The Kendall rank correlation coefficient was used to test the reliability of the estimator's scores. The Friedman test, followed by the Wilcoxon signed-ranks test, was used to investigate significant differences in the ARI scores between the different assessment methodsResults:The Kendall rank correlation coefficients revealed no significant difference between the scores assigned by the investigators in this study. However, the ARI scores were significantly different when the special image analysis program was used (p < 0.05).Conclusion:The reliability of the ARI scores increased when quantitative measurement methods were used
