Embodiments of the Sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia Under the Immigration Control

The nature of immigration control over the misappropriation of visas and residence permits in Indonesia in the framework of the operationalization of a selective policy of immigration law so that foreigners residing in Indonesia have limitations both in terms of their immigration clearance and their activities. The essence of oversight in order to uphold the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia as a jurisdiction, namely: jurisdiction to prescribe, jurisdiction to adjudicate and jurisdiction to enforce. Basically the main objective of foreign control is to protect the people and the sovereignty of the State. Foreigners who do not bring benefits and can jeopardize order should be prevented from entering the territory of Indonesia

Kinerja Lembaga Amil Zakat /Laz dalam Pendekatan Balanced Scorecard (Studi Kasus di Kabupaten Banyumas)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kinerja Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) dalamperspektif Balanced Scorecard (BSC) menganalisis kekuatan,kelemahan, peluang danhambatan serta permasalahan yang dialami LAZ dalam mengelola dana ZIS.. Penelitianini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara,kuisioner dan studi pustaka.Berdasarkan analisis disimpulkan bahwa 1) kinerja LAZ dalam perspektifkeuangan sudah baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pengumpulan dan penyaluran danaZakat Infak dan Shodaqoh (ZIS) yang terus mengalami kenaikan. Dalam perspektiflearning and growth, sudah baik, dilihat dari tingkat kepuasan karyawan LAZ. 2)Adapun dalam kinerja dalam perspektif customer, belum baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat daricustomer yang belum puas akan pelayanan LAZ. Yang menjadi kendala dalamperspektif ini adalah indicator reliability (keandalan), empati dan tangible. 3)Permasalah yang dialami oleh LAZ adalah keterbatasan SDM dan status legalitas LAZ.Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi Hendaknya Bazda melaksanakan perencanaanstrategis secara komprehensif dan koheren dengan mengubahpola perencanaan jangkapendek dan jangka panjang, sebaiknya pengurus (pengelola) LAZ adalah profesionalyang tanpa dibebani tugas lain di luar LAZ, hendaknya LAZ lebih memperhatikankepentingan karyawan (full timer) dalamhal pemberian kompensasi, dan kepemimpinan,hendaknya LAZ lebih memperhatikan kepentingan customer dalam hal keandalan,empati dan dalam penyediaan fasilitas

Blended-Learning: the Responses From Non-English Students in the Indonesian Tertiary Context

The process of language teaching and learning has undergone major changes due to the developments of technology. The use of technology in education field has paved the way for higher education institution to innovatively shape their modern media in a language teaching and learning. Subsequently, the implementation of blended-learning has aroused at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia for approximately one and a half year ago to maximize the use of technology. Most lecturers in all study programs have increasingly utilized the social network sites such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. for the successfulness of blended-learning. This present study aims at exploring the students' responses on how blended-learning might be used to develop their language learning and discovering their attitudes towards the implementation of blended-learning as an interactional teaching and learning tool in English for Business course. Employing a qualitative in form of a case study, eighty-two undergraduate students from study program of Informatics Engineering were observed, interviewed, and distributed questionnaires. The data were performed to collect the students' responses and students' attitudes toward the implementation of blended-learning in the process of their language learning. The findings were found out that most students from Informatics Engineering major showed their positive responses and positive attitudes using blended learning for the language teaching and learning. They also gained some educational benefits for their English language development. Thus, this blended learning brings us to the new trend for language teaching and learning media in order to motivate the students in enhancing their language acquisition

Cytotoxicity Study Of Mezzetiaparviflorabecc. Woodbark

The cytotoxic activity of acetone insoluble extract of MezzetiaparvifloraBecc. Wood bark was evaluated on HeLa cell line and it was compared with normal vero cell line to confirming the use of the plant as a traditional medicine for tumor. The experiment with normal vero cell line using MTT assay showed a percentage of cell viability of 96.8% at1000 µg of concentration which was not increase with the increase of concentration of the extract. Whereas, the experiment on HeLa cell line showed a low cytotoxic activity with the viability percentage was found to be 87.4% at1000μg/ml. Therefore the extract was categorized as non-toxic and the next studies is necessary to explore the mechanism liable of the using of the plant extract as anticancer traditional

Analisis Kelayakan USAhatani Kedelai (Glycine Max L.) (suatu Kasus di Desa Karangmulya Kecamatan Padaherang Kabupaten Pangandaran)

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui : 1) Besarnya biaya, penerimaan dan pendapatan USAhatani kedelai di Desa Karangmulya, Kecamatan Padaherang, Kabupaten Pangandaran. 2) Kelayakan USAhatani kedelai di Desa Karangmulya, Kecamatan Padaherang, Kabupaten Pangandaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Jumlah responden yang diambil sebanyak 56 orang (15 persen) dari populasi 376 orang petani dengan menggunakan metode acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Data yang dipergunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan kuesioner, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi pustaka, dinas dan instansi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : 1) Besarnya biaya USAhatani kedelai Rp 4.516.880,08,- per hektar, sedangkan penerimaan yang diperoleh petani sebesar Rp 10.920.000,-. Sehingga pendapatan yang diperoleh petani sebesar Rp 6.403.119,92,- per hektar. 2) Usahatani kedelai di Desa Karangmulya layak untuk dilaksanakan karena memiliki R/C > 1 yakni sebesar 2,4

Percobaan dengan sel normal vero menggunakan uji MTT menunjukkan persentase viabilitas sel sebanyak 96,8% pada konsentrasi 1000 ug dan tidak meningkat dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi ekstrak. Sedangkan pada percobaan dengan sel HeLa menunjukkan aktivitas sitotoksik yang rendah dengan persentase viabilitas sebesar 87,4% pada konsentrasi 1000μg/ml. Oleh karena itu ekstrak ini dikategorikan sebagai tidak beracun dan diperlukan studi selanjutnya untuk mengeksplorasi mekanisme yang bertanggung jawabterhadap efek antikanker dari tanaman tersebut.

Modeling Data Containing Outliers using ARIMA Additive Outlier (ARIMA-AO)

The aim this study is discussed on the detection and correction of data containing the additive outlier (AO) on the model ARIMA (p, d, q). The process of detection and correction of data using an iterative procedure popularized by Box, Jenkins, and Reinsel (1994). By using this method we obtained an ARIMA models were fit to the data containing AO, this model is added to the original model of ARIMA coefficients obtained from the iteration process using regression methods. Model of Cytation Network Analysis using Sequence of Words as Structured Text Representation

Citation in research activity is crucial. Various of journal publication media are available as a forum for publication and a source of research reference. In this study, we propose an analytical model for cytation networks in journal publications using a network of sciences. In addition, our cited network analysis model contains a structured text representation with Sequence of Words (SOW) form in the pre-process stage. The algorithm which is used to produce text representation in this research is the algorithm that corresponds to the generated SOW form, such as sequential or frequent pattern algorithm. The conceptual validation of the cytation network model in this study was carried out at the Department of Informatics Engineering, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung.
