Stereotypy w ukraińskim społeczeństwie w stosunku do osób wewnętrznie przemieszczonych z Donbasu

Stereotypes have always existed in Ukrainian society. The main reason for their occurrence as a rule, was the differences in the historical development of certain regions. With the influence of time, some stereotypes disappeared, but others appeared in their place. The war in the Donbass, has led to the emergence of new stereotypes, which began to firmly take root in the minds of people. Basically, these stereotypes relate to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from the Donbass and have a negative connotation. The main disseminators of stereotypes are public figures, community activists and the media. The purpose of the article is to analyze the most widespread stereotypes in some regions of Ukraine not covered by the conflict and to find out the reasons for their occurrence.W ukraińskim społeczeństwie zawsze istniały stereotypy. Główną przyczyną ich występowania były z reguły różnice w rozwoju historycznym niektórych regionów. Pod wpływem czasu niektóre stereotypy zniknęły, ale inne pojawiły się w ich miejscu. Wojna w Donbasie doprowadziła do pojawienia się nowych stereotypów, które zaczęły mocno zakorzeniać się w świadomości społecznej. Zasadniczo te stereotypy odnoszą się do osób wewnętrznie przesiedlonych (IDP) z Donbasu i mają negatywną konotację. Głównymi dostarczycielami stereotypów są osoby publiczne, działacze społeczni i media. Celem artykułu jest analiza najbardziej rozpowszechnionych stereotypów w niektórych regionach Ukrainy nieobjętych konfliktem oraz poznanie przyczyn ich wystąpienia

Koncepcja Międzymorza we współczesnej myśli politycznej Ukrainy

Events in Ukraine at the turn of 2013 and 2014 – the annexation of Crimea and the war in Donbass, not only caught the attention of the whole world, but also forced Western countries to review policy towards the region of Central and Eastern Eu-rope. The geopolitical concepts dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, mainly Inter Sea Initiative, were considered again. This concept covers the coun-tries from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea. We can also find the considerations re-lated to the countries of this region among American strategists – Zbigniew Brze-zinski, George Friedman, Tim Marshall and others. Each of them pays attention to the geopolitical location of countries covered by the concept of Inter Sea Initiative. The USA views on Central and Eastern Europe are fairly consistent – the states should cooperate more closely with each other. While analyzing the concept of Inter Sea Initiative in different historical periods, it seems that this cooperation is impossible, the states are rather divided than united. The main element being the reason for the divisions is historical memory, while the connecting element, which is much weaker than the dividing factors, is the fear of the eastern neighbor – Rus-sia. Problem języka ukraińskiego na Ukrainie na tle aneksji Krymu i wojny w Donbasie

The problem of the Ukrainian language in light of the annexation of Crimea and the war in DonbasThe problem of Ukrainian language in public discourse has been present since 1991, when Ukraine regained its independence. The problem is difficult, largely due to the historical past, mainly Soviet. For 26 years of independence Ukraine has not developed a unified and correct approach to solve this problem. In this article was an attempt to analyze how the annexation of Crimea and the war in Donbas influenced the language problem in Ukraine. The analysis covers four main aspects: everyday life (interpersonal communication), commercial (press market, books and electronic media, advertising), formal and official (functioning of the state, judiciary and education system) and symbolic (identity). Problem języka ukraińskiego na Ukrainie na tle aneksji Krymu i wojny w DonbasieProblem języka ukraińskiego w dyskursie publicznym obecny jest od czasu odzyskania niepodległości przez Ukrainę. Problem jest trudny i złożony, co w znacznym stopniu jest spowodowane przeszłością historyczną, głównie radziecką. Przez 26 lat niepodległości Ukraina nie wypracowała jednolitego i właściwego podejścia do rozwiązania tego problemu. Kwestia językowa jest poważnym wyzwaniem dla państwa ukraińskiego i jednym z ważniejszych problemów ukraińskiej polityki wewnętrznej. Ma ona cztery podstawowe aspekty: codzienny (komunikacja międzyludzka), komercyjny (rynek prasy, książek i mediów elektronicznych, a także reklam), formalno-urzędowy (funkcjonowanie państwa, zwłaszcza sądownictwa i systemu edukacji) oraz symboliczny/tożsamościowy. W artykule podjęto próbę analizy, w jaki sposób aneksja Krymu i wojna w Donbasie wpłynęły na kwestię językową na Ukrainie
