To educate in indignation: image and action from minority

El educador tiene dos funciones principales. La primera consiste en enseñar la materia en la que es experto. La segunda es la de formar al ciudadano que tiene como estudiante. Este objetivo es el más importante de todos, especialmente en un contexto histórico, social y político que pone en grave riesgo los derechos fundamentales de toda sociedad que defienda el bien común. En la Educación del Arte comenzó hace una década una línea de investigación que vinculaba los conceptos de Arte, la Ética y la Educación, proponiendo una enseñanza renovada de los contenidos y la incentivación del pensamiento crítico mediante nuevas metodologías de enseñanza. Es el momento de que el educador adopte con urgencia estas ideas como sus propias obligaciones éticas.The teacher has two main functions. The first is to teach the subject in which he is expert. The second is to form the citizen who is a student. This objective is the most important of all, especially in a historical, social and political context seriously jeopardizes the fundamental rights of every society to defend the common good. In Art Education began a decade ago a line of research that linked the concepts of art, ethics and education, proposing a renewed teaching content and critical thinking through encouragement of new teaching methodologies. La educación y su convivencia tecnológica: un ensayo ético

El objetivo principal de esta comunicación es analizar los procesos de la Educación y sus implicaciones y repercusiones éticas en el encuentro con las nuevas tecnologías. El sistema educativo debe estar incorporado a los cambios actuales de las sociedades modernas. Todas las personas integradas en este proceso, especialmente profesores y alumnos, tienen una importante conexión con las nuevas tecnologías. No obstante, una visión ética de esta relación debe ser analizada y valorada por el conjunto de las fuerzas sociales. Un buen uso es una propuesta de futuro, una buena formación y planificación de lo que es realmente necesario puede lograr una óptima mezcla de usos tradicionales y elementos de los nuevos medios.Principal aim of this proposal is to analyse the processes of education and its moral implications and repercussions in the meeting with new technologies. Ética, Sociedad e Información: Encuentros en el Imaginario Colectivo

Esta experiencia trata de fomentar el pensamiento crítico como forma de organización social y eje formativo del individuo y de los futuros profesionales de la enseñanza. Tratamos de desarrollar una capacidad de análisis del momento histórico contemporáneo a través del imaginario colectivo y la influencia del conjunto de medios y sistemas de información. En este sentido, aportamos una propuesta de conexión entre las ciencias sociales y las artes visuales.This experience tries to promote critical thought as a form of social organization and a formative axis for individuals and for future professionals in education. We try to develop an ability for the analysis of contemporary historical times through the collective imagination and the influence of mass media and information systems. Serie Standby I. Teachers, students and academic funnel

El proyecto artístico de movilización educativa STANDBY se creó en septiembre de 2016 para dar visibilidad, al estado de espera e incertidumbre que los recortes en educación de los últimos años han provocado en la comunidad universitaria. Estas circunstancias han llevado al colectivo a reinventarse académica y profesionalmente en su trayectoria vital. La Universidad Pública Española se encuentra en un proceso de cambio estructural de los principios que deberían sustentar su existencia y utilidad colectiva. Los principales daños se centran en la precariedad laboral y la dificultad extrema en el acceso a la función docente, la privatización y banalización del conocimiento y la ausencia de un espíritu colectivo que unifique esfuerzos por paralizar estos procesos. A lo largo de 2017 hemos ido elaborando distintas acciones artísticas, entre las que se encuentran “102 ideas y 60 meses en standby” y “Acción fotográfica para la creación colectiva” materializadas en más de 200 fotografías de participantes entre la comunidad universitaria y la ciudadanía. Estas acciones recrean simbólicamente a través de embudos y diferentes objetos la particular idea del estrangulamiento en el sistema educativo. STANDBY se construye a través de metáforas visuales, mediante murales fotográficos que se van ampliando a medida que se adhieren aquellas personas interesadas en participar en la propuesta. El proyecto es una prueba de que existe una llama y un espíritu crítico que sobrevive.The educational mobilization art project STANDBY was created in September of 2016 to give visibility to the state of waiting and uncertainty that cuts in education in recent years have resulted in the university community. These circumstances have led to the collective to reinvent themselves academically and professionally in their history. The Spanish public University is in a process of structural change of the principles that should sustain its existence and collective use. The main damages focus on precarious employment and the extreme difficulty in access to the teaching function, the privatization and trivialization of knowledge and the absence of a collective spirit that unifies efforts to paralyze these processes. Along 2017 have been developing different artistic actions, which include "102 ideas and 60 months in standby" and "Photographic action for collective creation" materialized in more than 200 photographs of participants in the community university and citizenship. These actions recreate symbolically through funnels and various objects the idea of choking in the educational system. STANDBY is built through metaphors, Visual murals photo that will expand to adhere to those interested in participating in the proposal. The project is a proof that there is a flame and a critical spirit that survives

Educación Artística y Desarrollo Humano: un proyecto de cooperación al desarrollo en India

Educación Artística y Desarrollo Humano' es un proyecto de cooperación al desarrollo llevado a cabo en 2015 en Anantapur, India. Un proyecto entre la Universidad de Sevilla y la Fundación Vicente Ferrer (FVF) que mantiene el objetivo de fortalecer la educación artística y cultural para el desarrollo integral de los/as niños/as de Anantapur, una de las zonas más necesitadas de la India y en la que la FVF trabaja desde hace más de 45 años. La educación artística se muestra como un instrumento poderoso no sólo para visualizar una problemática sociocultural concreta, sino para la transformación social desde un punto de vista creativo y crítico'Art Education and Human Development' was a development cooperation project implemented in 2015 in Anantapur, India. A joint initiative of the University of Seville and the Vicente Ferrer Foundation (FVF), the project aimed at strengthening the cultural and arts education for the integral development of the children of Anantapur, one of the poorest areas in India and where the FVF has worked for over 45 years.
