    Sustainable marketing is one of the main challenges facing firms over the next few years because of its potential impact on both the growth of firms and the image of business people, hence the need for executives to manage its implementation. This article explores how hotel marketing managers in Spain perceive and manage the role of marketing in improving sustainable business management and the changes needed to make sustainable marketing work. The study contributes twenty-four empirical cases to discover what corporate changes managers consider necessary in order to make the hotel industry sustainable. The main research contribution is an initial framework of four fields in which executives set company management priorities with a view towards implementing sustainable marketing

El formen un conjunt d'estacions meteorològiques automàtiques instal·lades en centres educatius de diferents zones climàtiques de Catalunya que subministren dades a Internet, a través del servidor web http://www.xtec.cat/edumet. Aquest recurs TIC permet accedir de forma permanent a dades meteorològiques en temps real, així com a visualitzar l'evolució del temps atmosfèric en diferents períodes de temps, a 57 estacions meteorològiques

    La publicación de la novela Cinelandia de Ramón Gómez de la Serna en 1923 aportó una relevante depuración en las experimentaciones de filiación vanguardista que el escritor había aplicado al género a partir de su heterodoxa, fragmentaria e imaginativa El Incongruente (1922). Cinelandia dejó su huella en el entorno cultural español, prolongando y consolidando el papel de su autor como figura puente entre generaciones literarias pero, también, encarnando un modelo único de relación dialéctica con el séptimo arte que se distanciaba de la hostilidad hacia el medio que tuvieron los escritores de la generación del 98, tomaba el partido que la mayoría de los miembros de la generación del 14 soslayaron y anticipaba, con matices, el entusiasmo claramente cinéfilo de la generación del 27, en cuyo seno y campo de influencia se esbozaron los primeros intentos de un cine vanguardista español. La relación del escritor con el cine no fue ni unidireccional, ni sencilla: una mezcla de fascinación y cuestionamiento que inspira en esta tesis la paradójica expresión de una cinefilia cinefóbica que tuvo rasgos realmente únicos en el paisaje cultural español de los años 20, década en la que el cine alcanzaba su autoconciencia artística, mientras los intelectuales de nuestro país empezaban a descubrir su potencial estético y narrativo y sus posibilidades pedagógicas..

    Els contextos de Creació del Coneixement Científic són espais clau perquè l'alumnat desenvolupi els procediments i visions epistèmiques de la Ciència, a més d'una apropiació profunda dels models científics. En aquest sentit, l'Aprenentatge Basat en Projectes és una oportunitat per desenvolupar activitats en les que els alumnes aprenguin ciències participant en aquests contextos. Es proposen quatre activitats ABP ubicades en diferents contextos de creació de coneixement científic (congressos científics, ciència ciutadana, indagacióal laboratori) i es discuteixen les aportacions que fan aquests diversos gèneres científics a l'ensenyament de les Ciències.Contexts of construction of scientific knowledge are key places to develop procedural and epistemic aspects of scientific competence, together with a deeper understanding of scientific models. Project-Based Learning is an opportunity to develop learning activities wherestudents learn sciences participating in these contexts.     O estudo e desenvolvimento de metodologias simplificadas para a análise nãolinear dinâmica de estruturas irregulares, e, o desenvolvimento de ferramentas numéricas para a optimização de reforço têm um papel principal na avaliação e reforço de estruturas. Neste artigo é proposta uma metodologia simplificada para a análise dinâmica não-linear de edifícios baseada no cálculo espectral multi-modal da resposta sísmica. Esta metodologia simples fornece bons resultados, mesmo na análise de estruturas irregulares e constitui-se como uma ferramenta essencial para a optimização do reforço de edifícios existentes

    Learning science towards a sustainable development

    The learning of sciences can be very stimulating. One cannot say there exists a perfect pedagogical method but our experience proved that actually going through the situations makes it possible for the students to learn the concepts more effectively and efficiently. Concrete experiences help students acquire knowledge with more ease [1]. The objective of the project herein reported is to get the students to learn science and simultaneously awaken to the principles of sustainable development. In the context of the programs of various disciplines, the use of a general and globalizing theme will allow to integrate various areas of knowledge and contribute to better learning. As collateral objectives, this project also intends to promote the level of literacy of the students and consequently of the society they belong to [2]. The United Nations entitled 2003-2012, the Literacy decade. Scientific literacy is fundamental for the development of our societies and humanity. The project will be implemented in other schools, located in mountain regions, in different European countries, that will share our experiences and knowledge. A number of exchange visits of groups of teachers and students will be organized in order to enhance the sense of European citizenship among the participants in the project and there schools. Science fairs will be organized where the work developed will be presented to the community
