Factores de riesgo para desarrollar depresión en estudiantes de enfermería

La depresión es una enfermedad de salud mental frecuente en todo el mundo y según la OMS para el 2020 será la segunda causa de discapacidad a nivel mundial. Por otra parte, dentro de la población universitaria, la depresión constituye una de las primeras causas de consulta en bienestar Universitario. Siendo el diagnostico por medio del CIE-10 Y DSM-V mediante sintomatología depresiva presentada. Por este motivo es que el presente estudio pretende identificar los factores de riesgo para el desarrollo de sintomatología depresiva de los estudiantes de la Universidad ECCI del programa de Enfermería, por medio de las puntuaciones obtenidas de las escalas CESD-20 y PHQ-9 en conjunto con una encuesta sociodemográfica. Impacto socioeconómico de la COVID-19 sobre microempresarios avícolas del Cantón La Troncal, Ecuador

The present research paper was carried out in 2020 to detail the socioeconomic impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on the production of poultry micro-entrepreneurs in La Troncal Canton, Ecuador. The study was developed by means of a survey applied to 68 poultry micro-entrepreneurs out of a universe of 225 existing in La Troncal Canton, province of Cañar, Ecuador. The results show the problems that arose during the pandemic period. With this information, a matrix was created for the analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Weaknesses and Threats (SWOT), the results of which were used to propose strategic actions focused on facing future problems in the poultry industryEl presente trabajo se realizó en el 2020 para detallar el Impacto socioeconómico ocasionado por la pandemia del COVID-19 sobre la producción de los microempresarios avícolas del cantón La Troncal, Ecuador. Associations and community health workers: analysis and time trends over ten years of training-action

Objective To analyse the profile of the persons and associations that participated in the course, quantify peer education activities and analyse their evolution. Method A quantitative study using an analysis of the course records from 2009 to 2018 was designed for this purpose inside mihsalud program designed to promote health amongst persons in vulnerable situations in the city of Valencia (Spain). It offers a yearly training-action course of community health workers (CHW) that is attended by persons who have been proposed by associations. The associations were defined according to their population (immigrant, local or intercultural) and the CHWs according to gender, country of birth, year of course, association and continuity after training. Means and confidence intervals were calculated at 95% and a bivariate analysis was conducted in order to compare the activities that took place in 2009 to 2013 with those of 2014 to 2018. The time trends were analysed by applying linear regression models that included the different years studied as the dependent variable. Results 201 CHW of 31 nationalities were trained, 81.6% (95% confidence interval [95% CI]: 75.5-86.7] were women. Eighty-two associations participated, 51.2% (95% CI: 39.9-62.4] worked with culturally diverse populations. Participation by associations (p = .017) and CHWs (p = .377) increased in a statistically significant manner over the years. After the course, 35.3% (95% CI: 28.7-42.4] of the CHWs continued to collaborate voluntarily in the associations. Conclusions The results of the CHW training-action course improve over time given that a significant increase in participation by associations and women can be seen, along with a greater number of activities completed during the training. One effect of this is that CHWs are contracted or carry out voluntary activities in the associations

La imagen y la narrativa como herramientas para el abordaje psicosocial en escenarios de violencia. Departamento de Arauca

Arauca ha experimentado de manera muy cercana la violencia, es por ello que las memorias identificadas en el departamento de Arauca tienen un impacto muy significativo sobre la sociedad, en realidad, en toda población que haya sido víctima del conflicto armado. Para nadie es un secreto que Colombia es uno de los países donde la guerra por parte de los entes ilegales persiste desde largos años, donde luchan por sus propios intereses llevándose por delante al pueblo, usándolos como excusa para lograr sus fines. En el departamento de Arauca, especialmente en los municipios de Saravena, Arauca, Fortul, Tame y Arauquita, los grupos armados han provocado miedo en sus pobladores, llevándolos a desplazarse y en el peor de los casos son ellos mismo quienes realizan desapariciones forzadas, muertes violentas, heridos en la población civil, daños en las estructuras físicas y demás situaciones negativas que interfieren en la convivencia social, el bienestar e integridad de sus habitantes. Por lo tanto, desde una mirada psicosocial en los escenarios de violencia se plantean estrategias en busca de la reconstrucción de las memorias. El pueblo Araucano ha sido víctima de diversos atentados y no solo por los grupos ilegales, sino que los mismos entes gubernamentales han causado desastrosas masacres que hasta la fecha de hoy siguen siendo recordadas por los habitantes, hacen parte de una historia y de las memorias colectivas del pueblo. Por medio de estas memorias, las comunidades víctimas buscan reparar y modificar las secuelas que deja la guerra, además son formas de manifestación ante dolor y las injusticias a las que se ven expuestos por estos grupos.Arauca has experienced violence very closely, which is why the memories identified in the department of Arauca have a very significant impact on society, in fact, on any population that has been a victim of the armed conflict. Valoración nutricional de los residuos orgánicos de banano en el cantón La Troncal, Ecuador

The nutritional and degradability characteristics of the organic wastes of banana (Musa paradisiaca L.) in La Troncal canton, Ecuador, green leaf, stem and rachis of the CAVENDISH and ORITO varieties were evaluated. The composition of the samples was evaluated on a dry basis by means of: Bromatological analysis (dry matter, crude protein, ash, ethereal extract, crude fiber, nitrogen free extract); Fiber analysis (NDF, FDA and LDA); Energy analysis (gross energy); and in situ degradability in cattle, using animals fistulated at the rumen level, of Brahman crossbred mixed race of 450 kg ± 20 kg live weight. Samples were incubated in the rumen using nylon bags for 0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours. The results showed acceptable values for cattle feeding in terms of chemical content, fiber, energy and dry matter degradability. It was concluded that banana wastes (green leaf, stem and rachis) in the genetic materials (CAVENDISH and ORITO) can be part of the ruminant diet, especially that of cattle, due to their characterized nutritional content and the in situ degradability of the dry matter of the samples analyzed.  Fue evaluada las características nutricionales y de degradabilidad de los residuos orgánicos de banano (Musa paradisiaca L.) en el cantón La Troncal- Ecuador, hoja verde, vástago y raquis en las variedades CAVENDISH y ORITO. Se procedió a valorar la composición de las muestras en base seca mediante: Análisis Bromatológico (materia seca, proteína cruda, cenizas, extracto etéreo, fibra cruda, extracto libre de nitrógeno); Análisis de Fibra (FDN, FDA y LDA); Análisis de Energía (energía bruta); y degradabilidad in situ en ganado bovino, utilizando animales fistulados a nivel del rumen, de cruce racial Brahman mestizos de 450 Kg ± 20 Kg de peso vivo. La incubación de las muestras dentro del rumen se dio mediante bolsas de nylon por 0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 y 96 horas. Los resultados presentaron valores aceptables para la alimentación de ganado bovinos en cuanto al contenido químico, fibra, energía y degradabilidad de la materia seca. Concluyendo que, los residuos de banano (hoja verde, vástago y raquis) en los materiales genéticos (CAVENDISH y ORITO) pueden ser parte de la dieta de rumiantes, en especial la de bovinos, debido a su contenido nutricional caracterizado y a la degradabilidad in situ de la materia seca de las muestras analizada

La imagen y la narrativa como herramientas para el abordaje psicosocial en escenarios de violencia. Región del Sumapaz.

El Enfoque Narrativo constituye una herramienta orientada hacia el empoderamiento de psicólogos, trabajadores sociales, sociológicos, antropólogos sociales y demás profesionales que son agentes asesores y guías en la intervención psicosocial como herramienta experta en el acompañamiento en escenarios de Violencia para la restitución de cualidad psicosocial de las personas restableciendo sus potencialidades individuales y colectivas. Esta herramienta contiene un acervo metodológico importante útiles para dar un re direccionamiento positivo de las experiencias traumáticas, de victimización, dolor, rabia, de miedo de angustia, en Relatos de sobrevivencia, esperanza y Resiliencia como el proceso de hacer frente a las dificultades superándolas y saliendo fortalecido de estas experiencias, y así las personas puedan retomar el control de sus vidas. Esta herramienta es una apuesta por aprovechar la facilidad que las personas tienen en la habilidad para hablar de sus problemas y sus dificultades en la mayoría de los casos y así construir sus historias sobre las cuales se propende en este Enfoque Narrativo reconstruirlas con el fortalecimiento de la esperanza en el cambio. En este sentido, y aprovechando los Recursos de la narrativa y los Relatos de las personas Víctimas del conflicto sobre los cuales empoderar y analizar, se opta por el Análisis de Relatos como una estrategia en la cual mediante preguntas estructuradas se orienta hacia el conocimiento de los fragmentos de significancia sobre los cuales descubrir cambio en el curso de vida en la experiencia victimizante, trayectorias, transiciones, y cambio de proyecciones y eventos significativos que han reescrito la vida de las personas, para dar contexto al interlocutor orientador en el conocimiento de la situación y poder también de forma constructiva descubrir Recursos actitudinales, fortalezas, personalidad, y de tendencia resiliente para potencializar sobre estos Recursos las alternativas de solución para el Sobreviviente. Las estrategias de la Pregunta Como Herramienta constituyen otro instrumento que se apoya en el recurso de la narrativa para obtener contexto de la situación y orientar a la persona en el reconocimiento de sus Recursos de afrontamiento de la crisis. En el análisis y la propuesta estratégica en una comunidad Víctima de Violencia se propende por el reconocimiento de emergentes psicosociales que permiten contextualizar y profundizar en el impacto generado a partir de la problemática central de la Violencia y el planteamiento de estrategias psicosociales en los ámbitos sistémicos del sujeto (Familia, Comunidad, Contexto social).The Narrative Approach compose a tool directed to the empowerment of psychologists, social workers, social anthropologist, and other professionals who are leaders in the psychosocial intervention as a tool adapted in the accompaniment in sceneries of Violence to restitute the psychosocial state of people in individual and collective. This tool contains methodologic steps useful to direct positively the traumatic experiences, of victimization, suffering, fear, and anger of the Stories of survival, hope and Resilience as the process of overcome difficulties and become empowered and strengthened, and take back the control of their lives. This tool is a bet to make the most of the ease that people have to speak about their problems and create Stories over which this approach is intended to rebuild based on the strengthening of the hope in the change. In this way, and making the most the Resources of the Narrative Approach, and Stories of the people Victims of the armed conflict over which empower and analyze, it has been chosen for the Analysis of Stories as a strategy with which through structured questions, it is directed to know the key pieces that mean change in the course of life and in the experience of victimization, ways, transitions, projections and significant events that have rewritten the life of people, to give context to the listener guide in the knowledge of the situation and be able constructively to find Resources in the attitudes, strengths, personality, and Resilience to boost based on these Resources the alternatives of solution for the Survivor. The strategies of Question as a Tool compose another instrument that lean on the narrative to obtain a context of the situation y lead to people to the acknowledgment of their Resources to afford the crisis. In the analysis and the strategic proposal in a community Victim of Violence is intended to acknowledge the psychosocial problems that emerges suddenly in the context and that allows get in context and deep into the impact generated from the central problem of Violence and the planning of psychosocial strategies in the systemic environments of the Victim (Family, Community, Social Context).

Research and application of low-energy wireless technologies in the Internet of Things

This scientific article aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of recreational activities on the learning of the English language in primary school students. As indicated in the introduction, learning a foreign language can be challenging for young students, which affects their motivation and interest in learning English. Therefore, the implementation of entertainment activities in the classroom is proposed as a way to improve English learning and motivation. Entertainment activities involve engaging students in fun and interactive ways, such as role-playing, board games, songs, stories, and other interactive activities. The study will evaluate the students\u27 knowledge of English before and after carrying out these activities, through standardized tests and surveys. The expected results are the improvement of English knowledge and increased motivation to learn it.Este artículo científico pretende analizar el impacto de la implementación de actividades lúdicas en el aprendizaje de la lengua inglesa en alumnos de primaria. Como se indica en la introducción, el aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera puede suponer un reto para los jóvenes estudiantes, lo que afecta a su motivación e interés por aprender inglés. Por lo tanto, se propone la implementación de actividades de entretenimiento en el aula como una forma de mejorar el aprendizaje del inglés y la motivación. Las actividades de entretenimiento implican involucrar a los estudiantes de forma divertida e interactiva, como juegos de rol, juegos de mesa, canciones, cuentos y otras actividades interactivas. El estudio evaluará los conocimientos de inglés de los alumnos antes y después de la realización de estas actividades, mediante pruebas estandarizadas y encuestas.
