The present document aims to summarize the activities performed during the curricular internship at Câmara Municipal do Porto, in order to strengthen the knowledge and experience acquired. In fact, the contact and the daily monitoring of situations with an eminently practical nature contribute to the development and comprehension of new topics, thus creating a favourable environment of stimulus and motivation. Within this context, the work developed builds upon four case studies, all of them focused on public road interventions that address extensive actions in the area of urban requalification, such as paving, soils characterization, hydraulic and electric infrastructures, not neglecting the concepts in regards to pedestrian accessibilities and signage. Still on the domain of structural quality pavements’ demands, the implemented jobs have always considered the established rules of construction and compaction. From the laboratory support point of view, the soils belonging to the pavement layers were identified and characterized for the first case study, resorting to ISEP’s construction materials’ laboratory, having been made several experiments with samples collected on the field. In the results’ analysis it was established the comparison to the General Technical Conditions requirements and to the technical file given by the contracting entity, in order to assess its compliance. Finally, the concepts and procedures frequently mentioned in this report come from the existent documentation and bibliographic research about the topics. Through the solid argumentation of these theoretical elements, it became possible to collect the information and a bundle of reference values that led to the comprehension and resolution of the case studies described
This study aims to contribute to a better understanding of
an emerging interactive audiovisual genre - the
interactive documentary - particularly in web platforms.
The main goal is to identify how is it defined and what
type of processes and strategies have been practiced in
its performance in terms of narrative and interactivity, and
also to reflect what kind of cultural implications are
related to the authors and audiences of a genre that is

Anterior fixation of odontoid fractures: results.
OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the clinical and radiological outcomes of the surgical treatment in patients diagnosed with odontoid fracture who underwent open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) with screws.
METHODS:
This was a retrospective study with nine patients. Pain (visual analog scale [VAS]) and neurological status (Frankel scale) were assessed. The neck disability index (NDI) and the post-operative cervical range of motion were calculated. The cervical spine was radiologically evaluated (X-ray and CT) pre- and postoperatively.
RESULTS:
The mean age of patients was 70 years. All patients presented type IIb (Grauer classification) fractures, with a mean deviation of 2.95 mm. Two patients had subaxial lesions. The mean follow-up was 30 months. The mean time from trauma to surgery was seven days. The pre-operative Frankel score was E in all except one patient (B), in whom a post-operative improvement from B to D was observed. Post-operative pain was 2/10 (VAS). A total of 77% of patients presented a mild or moderate disability (NDI). Six patients regained full range of cervical movement, and bone union required approximately 14 weeks. Pseudarthrosis complications were observed in two patients (77% union rate), one patient presented screw repositioning and one case, dysphonia.
CONCLUSION:
Delayed diagnosis is still an issue in the treatment of odontoid fractures, especially in elderly patients. Concomitant lesions, especially in younger patients, are not uncommon. The literature presents high fusion rates with ORIF (≥80%), which was also observed in the present study. However, surgical success depends on proper patient selection and strict knowledge of the technique. This pathology presents a reserved functional prognosis in the medium-term, especially in the elderly.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

haver consenso no próprio termo: new media documentaries, webdocs,
docu-games, cross-platform documentaries, interactive documentaries
do conhecimento, desde cinema, interatividade, videojogos, vídeo-arte
excelência, as narrativas a ela associada ultrapassam a forma tradicional
