The Level of Integration of Bancassurance Products of Financial Groups Erste Group Bank, UniCredit Group and KBC Group in Selected Countries

This paper will evaluate the current state of cooperation between banks and insurance companies as well as internal integration of bancassurance products in financial groups Erste Group Bank, UniCredit Group and KBC Group. The evaluation is performed as of September, 2016. There shall be selected ten countries which are located in Central and Eastern Europe: Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Slovenia and Serbia. The aim of this paper is to determine whether or not there is a similarity in integrated financial products belonging to different financial groups in individual countries. This paper will apply a qualitative research approach. A theoretical base for evaluating the level of cooperation between banks and insurance companies and for evaluation of an internal integration of bancassurance products will be set in the paper. The theoretical base is to be compared with the current bancassurance practice within financial groups and countries. To evaluate bancassurance practice, this paper shall use data available on web sites, financial and annual reports of financial institutions. The qualitative research is to contain a detailed analysis, sorting and comparison of set theoretical bases. The financial groups show differentness as far as integration is concerned. The research led to the conclusion that there is a similarity in bancassurance products which are offered in evaluated countries. Content and Analysis of Accounting Information at Company´s Financial Performance Assesment

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou účetních informací s cílem posouzení finanční výkonnosti podniku. Práce obsahuje teoretický základ finanční analýzy a používané metody k posouzení finanční výkonnosti podniku. Teoretické poznatky jsou využity pro posouzení finanční situace firmy za účelem stanovení opatření na zlepšení stávající situace.Bachelors thesis deals with an analysis of accounting informations with the aim at financial performance of company. It contains the theoretical basis of the financial analysis and methods used. Then the basis is applied on examination of the financial situation of company to suggest proper means of its improvement.

Metaphor in Supervision

Předkládaná diplomová práce na téma Metafora v supervizi je členěna na dvě části. První část teoretická, uchopuje metaforu v jazykové rovině, její sémantickou rovinu a dále poté užití metafory v supervizi. Jak se ukazuje, tak metafora je často pojímána jako fenomén, jako obraz, či jako uchopení intrapsychických pochodů člověka. Sama metafora je často popisována metaforou a můžeme se tak lehce dostat do začarované spirály. Z této spirály nás právě vyvádí teoretická část práce, která zachycuje a kotví abstrakci metafory v reálném světě. Zkoumání metafory proběhlo formou kvalitativní výzkumné metodologie, a to konkrétně za použití metody IPA. Do výzkumného šetření bylo zařazeno 11 účastníků výzkumu, kteří byli záměrně vybráni na základě kriteriárního výběru. Součástí výzkumné strategie byla i nezbytná sebereflexe výzkumnice v prvotní fázi práce s daty pomocí dekonstrukce textu. V analýze dat můžeme najít nejprve předvýzkum a poté samotné kodifikování spojené s přímými citacemi. Toto je nejprve utříděno do přehledné tabulky pro lepší orientaci. V diskusi se poté zaměřujeme na odpovědi na hlavní výzkumný cíl, který se podařilo naplnit a na výzkumné otázky. The first theoretical part deals with metaphor in the linguistic level, its semantic level and then the use of metaphor in supervision. As it turns out, metaphor is often conceived as a phenomenon, as an image, or as a grasp of a person's intrapsychic processes. Metaphor itself is often described by metaphor and we can easily get into a vicious spiral. It is the theoretical part of the thesis that takes us out of this spiral, capturing and anchoring the abstraction of metaphor in the real world. The exploration of metaphor has taken the form of a qualitative research methodology, specifically using IPA. The research investigation involved 11 research participants who were purposively selected based on criterion sampling. The research strategy included the necessary self-reflection by the researcher and in the initial stage of working with the data through deconstruction of the text. In the data analysis we can find first the pre-research and then the actual codification associated with direct quotations. This is first sorted into a clear table for better orientation. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vypracováním podnikatelského záměru na založení restaurace. Teoretická část práce popisuje předpoklady pro dobře vypracovaný podnikatelský plán. V praktické části je provedena SWOT analýza, analýza vnějšího okolí a finanční zajištění podnikatelské činnosti. Na závěr je navržen plán strategie rozvoje podniku a zhodnocení jeho přínosů.This thesis focuses on developing a business plan to establish a restaurant. The theoretical part describes the prerequisites for a well-developed business plan. The practical part of a SWOT analysis, analysis of the external environment and financial reinsurance business. Evolution of a commercial insurance company in trans-epochal developments: Evidence of the Czech insurance market

This paper aims to analyze the evolution of the leading commercial insurance company Česká pojišťovna on the Czech insurance market in the years 1947–2021. Its evolution was closely linked to the processes of building socialism in the 1950s and the federalization of Czechoslovakia at the end of the 1960s. The paper uses qualitative research methods, methods of description and comparison, as well as local micro-historical analyses shall be applied. The main features of insurance products in the period of the totalitarian regime are characterized. Both the economic transformation in the 1990s and globalization in the last decades have had a radical effect on the further development of the analyzed company Česká pojišťovna. In the period after 1989, the development is marked by a focus on changes in the shareholder structure of the analyzed insurance company, and the development of its market share is shown. As a result of demonopolization, new companies could emerge, creating a competitive environment. The leading commercial insurance company Česká pojišťovna’s market share gradually began to decline. Techno-economic analysis of fluidized bed combustion of a mixed fuel from sewage and paper mill sludge

The treatment and disposal of sewage sludge is one of the most important and critical issues of wastewater treatment plants. One option for sludge liquidation is the production of fuel in the form of pellets from mixed sewage and paper mill sludge. This study presents the results of the combustion of pelletized fuels, namely sewage and paper mill sludge, and their 2:1 and 4:1 blends in a fluidized bed combustor. The flue gas was analysed after reaching a steady state at bed temperatures of 700-800 degrees C. Commonly used flue gas cleaning is still necessary, especially for SO2; therefore, it is worth mentioning that the addition of paper mill sludge reduced the mercury concentration in the flue gas to limits acceptable in most EU countries. The analysis of ash after combustion showed that magnesium, potassium, calcium, chromium, copper, zinc, arsenic, and lead remained mostly in the ash after combustion, while all cadmium from all fuels used was transferred into the flue gas together with a substantial part of chlorine and mercury. The pellets containing both sewage and paper mill sludge can be used as an environmentally friendly alternative fuel for fluidised bed combustion. The levelized cost of this alternative fuel is at the same current price level as lignite.Web of Science1523art. no. 896

Práce se zaměřuje na finanční podporu rodin s dětmi v ČR. Jsou zde vymezeny dávky státní sociální podpory, sociální péče a nemocenského pojištění, slevy na dani a společné zdanění manželů. V praktické části bylo provedeno zhodnocení výše výplat dávek ze strany státu a analýza manželů, nesezdaného páru a matky samoživitelky z hlediska nároků na finanční podporu

Specifics of the art therapeutical work with young children in the institutional education (with a focus on early deprivation and CAN syndrome)

The aim of these bachelor thesis is introducing to the reader the theme of art therapy with the children with syndrome CAN in the environment of children´s home. Children with the syndrome CAN have specific needs based on the deprivation and attachment disorder which is introduced in the empirical part of these theses. In the empirical part, the author of this theses is introducing the theoretical support which is necessary for understanding the whole theme connected with syndrome CAN and the manifestation of behavior based on the syndrome CAN. In the research part of the theses the author presents two Case Study based on the Art Therapy work with the children clients. In the Case Study are displayed specific symptoms and manifestation of disorders which we can observe in the art products of these children with syndrome CAN. In the end of this theses is Discussion where the author discus conclusions and is looking for some summarizing and final thought
