    Text Analysis and Text Created in Grammar Learning

    The complain of the lecturers on English students' grammar reflected in their understanding of reading text and their writing product stimulated grammar lecturers to find out the ways to make students use the grammar learned. The paper aims at exploring the learning tasks of text analysis and text created assigned to students of undergraduate level. This activity is the stepping stone to get the rank scale of the clause structure in inductive way. The topics discussed can be in the level of phrase, clause, or clause complex. After comprehending the level of scale structure, the students are directed to identify the rules they have learned by analyzing the text. To use what they have learned, students are assigned to create the text related to the topics. There are various activities that can be done, such as individual, pair-up, or group activities. Practices may be in spoken and written activities. As it was implemented in my grammar class, the result indicates that students were motivated and reflective in using the language. In the low level of structure, such as phrases and simple clause, it worked quite well. It didn't take much time for the students to analyze the text for the rules and created the text assigned. In clause complex structure, however, it took a little longer for them to do the analysis. But the result is good. It is also a challenge for students to create independent activities outside the class, especially for the bright students

    Judul penelitian ini adalah berusaha mempelajari dan menjelaskan aspek-aspek pemikiran dalam tafsir tentang hal yang berhubungan dengan moderasi beragama aliansi perspektif sufistik.Moderasi beragama tidak terlepas dari Revolusi shalat yang ditulis oleh Ibnu Arabi, yang menjelaskan bagaimana perkembangan shalat, azan, kiblat, gerakan shalat, kondisi shalat dan lain-lainnya secara komprehensif dengan latar belakang ilmu yang lebih kental ke arah kajian filsafat-tasawuf sehingga membuka rahasia yang terkandung di dalam pokok-pokok kajian tersebut, akan tetapi tidak mengabaikan syariat sebagaimana yang dituduhkan oleh kebanyakan tokoh, yang mengatakan tasawuf mengabaikan syariat.Al-Ghazali melihat bahwa kehidupan ideal dalam mengaktualisasikan ajaran Islam adalah dengan jalan pertengahan, seimbang dan adil atau proporsional antara dunia dan akhirat, antara rohani dan jasmani dan antara materi dan spiritual.At-thabari menjelaskan umat Islam yang wasathiyah adalah “Umat Islam adalah umat moderat, karena mereka berada pada posisi tengah dalam semua agama, mereka bukanlah kelompok yang ekstrem dan berlebihan seperti sikap ekstremnya nashrani dengan ajaran kerahibannya yang menolak dunia dan kodratnya sebagai manusia. Umat Islam juga bukan seperti bebasnya dan lalainya kaum yahudi yang mengganti kitab-kitab Allah, membunuh para Nabi, mendustai Tuhan dan kafir  pada-Nya. Akan tetapi umat Islam adalah umat pertengahan dan seimbang dalam agama, maka karena inilah Allah menamakan mereka dengan umat moderat”Ibnu Katsir menjelaskan wasathan/moderat maksudnya paling baik dan paling berkualitasAl-Qurthubi menjelaskan bahwa Allah swt menginginkan umat Islam menjadi umat yang moderat, paling adil dan paling cerdas. Bahwa umat Islam harus menjadi umat yang selalu pada posisi pertengahan dan moderat tidak pada posisi ekstrem atau berlebihan”.Pada bagian akhir ini dikemukakan kesimpulan sebagai temuan penelitian ini, yaitu hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa di dalam tafsir sufistik, menafsir ayat-ayat yang berhubungan dengan aliansi perspektif sufistik moderasi beragama, secara sangat inklusif.

    Spiritual Education Mission in the Mufassirin Perspective

    Spiritual crisis is a factor leading to disorientation in today’s modern humans and the decline of morality of the nation. The low level of spirituality is caused by an educational approach that only focuses on the brain and ignores spiritual values. The Qur'an has actually affirmed the mission of spiritual education which should be used as a reference for the current education system. This article employs library research method through a comparison of the way the mufassirin interpret verses about the mission of spiritual education. The results show that the mission of spiritual education carried out by the Prophet Muhammad can be seen for example in Surat Al-Anbiya' verse 107, Surat Saba' verse 28 and Surat Al-Ahzab verse 21, namely rahmatan lil 'alamin (mercy to all creations). The prophet has brought evidence the truth to perfect the akhláș­q, as well as to become the followers of uswah hasanah (perfect example) which must be imitated by all humans. Meanwhile, the stages of increasing spirituality in the Surat Luqman Verses 12-19, include: (1) instilling the tauhid values, (2) being filial to parents, (3) understanding the reciprocity of each deed, (4) command to worship, (5) introducing politeness in social life. Elements of spiritual education contained in Surat al-Muzzammil Verses 1-10 include qiyamul lail or night prayer, reciting the Qur’an in a tartil way, getting used to zikr, patience, jihad fi sabilillah or fighting on the path of Allah, and always praying and begging forgiveness from Allah

    Pengaruh Gaya Hidup Konsumen dan Kemajuan Teknologi Terhadap Hasil Penjualan Blackberry di Matahari Singosaren Surakarta

    Tujuan penelitian 1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya hidup konsumen terhadap hasil penjualan Blackberry di matahari singosaren Surakarta. 2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemajuan teknologi terhadap hasil penjualan Blackberry di matahri singosaren Surakarta. Hipotesis 1) Diduga variabel gaya hidup konsumen berpengaruh terhadap hasil penjualan Blackberry di matahari singosaren Surakarta. 2) Diduga kemajuan teknologi mempengaruhi hasil penjualan Blackberry di matahari singosaren Surakarta. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji t diperoleh bahwa variabel gaya hidup konsumen secara signifikan dan positif berpengaruh terhadap hasil penjualan blackberry. Sedangkan variabel kemajuan teknologi secara segnifikan tidak berpengaruh pada hasil penjualan blackberry. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji f didapat nilai f hitung sebesar 11,054 dengan nilai probabilitas nilai signifikan 0,000 oleh karena nilai signifikan ini lebih kecil dari 0,001 ini bearti gaya hidup dan teknologi secar simultan atau bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil penjualan blackberry. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi menunjukan nilai adjusted R2 sebesar 0,503 atau 50,3%. Hal ini menunjukan 50,3% hasil penjualan dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel gaya hidup dan teknologi. Sedangkan sisanya dijelaskan oleh faktor lain diluar model penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian ini dihasilkan bahwa variabel gaya hidup (X1) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil penjualan, sedangkan variabel kemajuan teknologi (X2) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil penjualan. Berarti penilitan yang saya lakukan mendapat dukungan dari penelitian terdahulu yang dilakukan oleh Imam Mahmudi (2002) dan Mahendro (2011)

    The Mediating Effect of Supply Chain Integration on Inculcation of Islamic ethical values among Muslim students through the e-learning platform

    Abstract– Supply chain Management has played a significant role in corporate efficiency and has attracted the attention of numerous academicians over the last few years. As the concept of becomes more widely accepted, supply chain integration (SCI) is gaining more attention among both practitioners and academics. With an all-encompassing pace of communication and information technology, the planet is changing over time; the gap between the rich and the poor is widening. The study employed a quasi-experimental research design to assess the effectiveness of inculcating Islamic values and supply chain using e-learning platform modality. Teaching moral values is perceived to be an important part of education in Islam. The components of the syllabic formal education slowly spit out information on the growth of character. With both the busy schedule of individuals, the position of family and community in the formation of personality is declining. There was only hope for this country with the teacher on the eLearning site, optimism always fades due to the physical absence of a teacher. This article is a short report showed that the use of e-learning platform with the integration of Islamic values is found effective to enhance students’ Islamic values. It also suggests an ICT-based model that can help to define the growth of Muslim students in the e-Learning environment

    KEAKTIFAN SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN HAFALAN AL-QUR’AN MENGGUNAKAN ZOOM: STUDI PADA SISWA KELAS 8 SMP AR-RAHMAH MALANG

    Salah satu media yang banyak digunakan saat pandemi Covid-19 adalah aplikasi Zoom. Beberapa penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Online menggunakan platform konferensi seperti Zoom berdampak positif terhadap belajar siswa termasuk proses menghafal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran hafalan Al-Qur’an menggunakan Zoom. Penelitian ini masuk dalam kategori penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dari lembar observasi selama pembelajaran, angket keaktifan yang diberikan setelah pembelajaran, dan wawancara tentang tanggapan siswa pada penggunaan Zoom dalam pembelajaran hafalan Al-Qur’an. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif, yaitu dengan menunjukkan total skor, persentase, atau rerata dari masing-masing jawaban responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa sangat aktif, tetap termotivasi, dan mencapai tujuan belajar,  dalam pembelajaran menggunakan Zoom. Kajian ini menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran hafalan Al-Qur’an dengan Zoom sama efektifnya dengan pembelajaran tatap muka.     Unsupervised clustering approach for network anomaly detection

    This paper describes the advantages of using the anomaly detection approach over the misuse detection technique in detecting unknown network intrusions or attacks. It also investigates the performance of various clustering algorithms when applied to anomaly detection. Five different clustering algorithms: k-Means, improved k-Means, k-Medoids, EM clustering and distance-based outlier detection algorithms are used. Our experiment shows that misuse detection techniques, which implemented four different classifiers (naĂŻve Bayes, rule induction, decision tree and nearest neighbour) failed to detect network traffic, which contained a large number of unknown intrusions; where the highest accuracy was only 63.97% and the lowest false positive rate was 17.90%. On the other hand, the anomaly detection module showed promising results where the distance-based outlier detection algorithm outperformed other algorithms with an accuracy of 80.15%. The accuracy for EM clustering was 78.06%, for k-Medoids it was 76.71%, for improved k-Means it was 65.40% and for k-Means it was 57.81%. Unfortunately, our anomaly detection module produces high false positive rate (more than 20%) for all four clustering algorithms. Therefore, our future work will be more focus in reducing the false positive rate and improving the accuracy using more advance machine learning technique

    Application of bagging, boosting and stacking to intrusion detection

    This paper investigates the possibility of using ensemble algorithms to improve the performance of network intrusion detection systems. We use an ensemble of three different methods, bagging, boosting and stacking, in order to improve the accuracy and reduce the false positive rate. We use four different data mining algorithms, naĂŻve bayes, J48 (decision tree), JRip (rule induction) and iBK( nearest neighbour), as base classifiers for those ensemble methods. Our experiment shows that the prototype which implements four base classifiers and three ensemble algorithms achieves an accuracy of more than 99% in detecting known intrusions, but failed to detect novel intrusions with the accuracy rates of around just 60%. The use of bagging, boosting and stacking is unable to significantly improve the accuracy. Stacking is the only method that was able to reduce the false positive rate by a significantly high amount (46.84%); unfortunately, this method has the longest execution time and so is insufficient to implement in the intrusion detection fiel

    PEMISAHAN SINYAL AUDIO TERCAMPUR SECARA OFFLINE DENGAN ALGORITMA INDEPENDENT COMPONENT ANALYSIS

    Mixed audio signals can be found in a room where some people are speaking simultaneously, such as cocktail party or meeting. Someone’s ears will process the mixed signals automatically to get the meant audio signal, so the person can understand the message from the other. The mixed signals have random variables which aren’t determined before. The mixed signals separation method is called Blind Source Separation (BSS). Independent Component Analysis is a method (algorithm) for performing BSS. The principle of ICA is to estimate un-noised audio signals (closely related to the original signals) from the available mixed signals. A simulation program is needed to execute ICA in offline way. The program in this paper uses Matlab 7.1. It produces estimated audio signals and MSE (Mean Square Error) value between the estimated and original signals. The result of test indicates that FastICA algorithm is the eficient method to compute parameters quickly to get the right estimated signals. The most efective model of this algorithm is symmetric approach. Kata kunci: audio, offline, FastICA, MS
