Indonesia is among the developing countries that are struggling to develop in the field of industrial development. The logical consequence of any development process, especially industrial development is the emergence of associated impacts that greatly affect the durability and sustainability of the environment. Developing the equitable industry in order to create public welfare is important. However, maintaining the security and preservation of the environment is also very important, because it is only with the availability of a good environment and healthy living that human beings can perform daily living. The availability of good and healthy environment is the constitutional responsibility of the government, as well as part of the human rights of all citizens which must be given by the State. Efforts to create a good environment and healthy living will be effective if controlled by State government and institutions who understand the objective conditions on the ground. MENINGKATKAN RESILIENSI PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Mata Pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 5 Manggar Belitung Timur Kelas VIII A Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016

Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu kondisi lingkungan yang banyak terjadi perilaku penyimpangan sosial dan latar belakang peserta didik yang berasal dari keluarga ekonomi lemah, pendidikan orang tua rendah dan kontrol keluarga yang minim sehingga peserta didik perlu memiliki tingkat resiliensi yang tinggi supaya dapat menghadapi permasalahan kehidupan dan terhindar dari perilaku penyimpangan sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang merujuk pada pola desain penelitian Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, yaitu penelitian tindakan yang dipandang sebagai suatu siklus spiral dari penyusunan perencanaan (Plan), pelaksanaan tindakan (Act), pengamatan (observe), dan refleksi (Reflect) yang dalam hal ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Dari hasil observasi dan analisis pada ke delapan indikator resiliensi, yaitu: (1) Regulasi Emosi; (2) Kontrol Impuls; (3) Optimisme; (4) Analisis Penyebab Masalah; (5) Empati; (6) Efikasi Diri; (7) Pencapaian; (8) Iman dan Spiritualitas, diketahui bahwa ada peningkatan resiliensi pada peserta didik setelah dilakukan tiga kali siklus tindakan dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali tindakan. Pada siklus pertama, peserta didik yang memiliki resiliensi tinggi sebanyak 50%. Pada siklus kedua ada peningkatan, peserta didik yang memiliki resiliensi tinggi sebanyak 66,67% dan pada siklus ketiga, seluruh peserta didik mencapai kategori resiliensi tinggi (100%). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode problem based learning pada pembelajaran IPS dengan mengambil tema penyimpangan sosial dapat meningkatkan resiliensi pada peserta didik

Does the Inclusion of Indonesian Firms in a Sustainable and Responsible Investment Index Affect Stock Performance?

This study empirically investigates the effect of the addition of Indonesian firms in the sustainable and responsible investment index (SRI-KEHATI index) on stock performance. This study applies an event study methodology using a single index model. The empirical results reveal that there are two days with significant abnormal returns, namely d+1 and d+3. This finding implies that the Indonesian stock market is efficient in a semi-strong form. This study also finds that there is no difference in abnormal returns before and after the SKI announcement. The implication of this study is the investors do not have to consider their investment decisions based on the inclusion of a corporation in the SKI

The Determinants of Stock Price Volatility in Indonesia

Volatility is a statistical measure of stock price fluctuation. This study aims to investigate the effect of trading volume, firm size, inflation, and exchange rate on stock price volatility of the companies included in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) from 2014 to 2018. By using a purposive sampling technique, the research sample is sixteen companies. This research employs panel regression with annual data. This study reveals that trading volume has a significant positive effect on stock price volatility. Firm size has a significant negative impact on stock price volatility. Meanwhile, the inflation and exchange rate do not affect stock price volatility

PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN DAN BUDAYA ORGANISASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN PADA PD. KEBERSIHAN KOTA BANDUNG

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PD. Kebersihan Kota Bandung dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari perusahaan dan jumlah populasi 615 dengan jumlah sampel yang diteliti berjumlah 86 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui media kuesioner yang dilengkapi dengan observasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji realibilitas, regresi linier berganda, korelasi berganda, koefisien determinasi simultan, koefisien determinasi parsial, uji F dan uji T. Hasil penelitian yang bersumber dari pengolahan data menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat antara variabel kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi memiliki hubungan yang kuat terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai R= 0.787 Secara simultan dapat diketahui berdasarkan hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi pengaruh kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan sebesar 61,9% dan sisanya sebesar 38,1%, dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan pengujian koefisien determinasi secara parsial kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh 39,1% dimana lebih besar terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di perusahaan bila di bandingkan dengan budaya organisasi yang memberikan pengaruh sebesar 22,6%. Hasil hipotesis secara simultan menunjukan bila kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan karena hasil uji F menunjukan F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel. Hubungan Volatilitas dan Volume Perdagangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia

The Relationship Between Volatility and Trading Volume in The Indonesian Stock ExchangeThere are a lot of studies that examine the relationship between volatility and trading volume in the stock exchange. This study is conducted to examine the role of trading frequency and volume in explaining the volatility-volume relationship in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The analysis is conducted at the firm level with samples of 38 individual stocks from January 2012 to December 2013. The results show that there is a positive relationship between volatility and trading frequency as well as between volatility and trading volume. The results also find that trading frequency is better than trading volume in explaining volatility.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v7i1.389

Isolasi dan karakterisasi fraksi kloroform (CHC13) dalam paitan (Tithonia diversifolia, Gray)

Daun paitan (Tithonia diversifolia, Gray) memiliki banyak manfaat, antara lain sebagai tanaman obat dan pestisida. Telah diisolasi senyawa bioaktif dari dawn paitan (Tithonia diversifolia, Gray) dengan metode Kromatografi .Kolom Vakum menggunakan pelarut kloroform. Kristal hasil isolasi memberikan noda tunggal pada berbagai pelarut dan memberikan hasil positif terhadap uji steroid serta mempunyai titik leleh 148 — 149 °C. Analisis spektroskopi dilakukan dengan spektrometri IR dan GC-MS. Dengan analisa MS memberikan puncak-puncak fragnientasi pada mie = 412; 394; 369; 351; 300; 271; 255; 213; 199; 173; 159; 133; 119; 81; 69 dan "base peak"nya 55, Spektrum infra merah memberikan informasi bahwa kristal basil isolasi sedikitnya mengandung gugus OH, C-0, C-H dan Berdasarkan data spektroskopi dan pendekatan kemotaksonomi diusulkan bahwa kristal basil isolasi merupakan senyawa golongan steroid yaitu senyawa stigmasterol yang biasa terdapat dalam tumbuhan tingkat tinggi. Tithonia diversifolia, Gray can be used as medical plant and pesticides. Bioactive compound from Tithonia diversifolia, Gray had been isolated use vacuum column chromatography method by chloroform as the solvent. Isolated crystal melt at 148 — 149 °C and give one spot by TLC. It shows positive test for steroid compound. In analyze with MS gives fragmentation at mile 412, 394, 369, 351, 300, 271, 255, 213, 199, 173, 159, 133, 119, 105, 81, 69 and 55 as the base peak. The crystal contains OH, C-H, C-0, and C=C groups, it was shown by Infra Red spectrum. Based on Infra Red, MS and plant's chemotaxonomy study proposed that isolated crystal is stigmasterol compound

The Compliance with Mandatory Disclosure of Financial Statement: A Study from Local Government in Indonesia

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of  size of  district and  city, type of local government, wealth, and level of local dependence on central government on compliance with mandatory disclosure of financial statement 2011  in Indonesia. Population in this study is all countries and cities in Indonesia which includes a number of 497 district and cities. This research uses a purposive sampling design, the exact type of quota sampling. This type of sampling design can ensure that certain groups are fairly represented in the study through a quota.  which is set for each sub-group based on the number of each group in the population. The number of samples are 104 local governments. The multiple regression used in this research. The results indicate that size of district and city, type of local government, and wealth influenced on compliance with mandatory disclosure of financial statement, while  level of local dependence on central government not influenced on  compliance with mandatory disclosure of financial statement.
