Аналіз польської преси показав, що вона приділила багато уваги Помаранчевій революції в Україні. Це значно сприяло поліпшенню відносин між сусідніми народами, усуненню фобії та негативізму. Усе це допоможе кращому порозумінню майбутніх поколінь поляків та українців

A phonetic grammar of the Polish language

The aim of the present paper is to give an overview of the investigation of the phonic articulatory systems of Polish on the basis of the detailed articulatory descriptions existent in phonetic literature and with the use computational tools. First the theoretical foundations of the phonetic grammar are briefly introduced, then the main problem of the choice of an appropriate repertory of phones for Polish is also discussed. The last section is devoted to the presentation of the computional amalysis of the collected data. The created application enables us to collect a given phonetic inventory, taking into consideration the division into particular languages and the database generated here makes further computer analyses possible. Owing to the introduction of numeric interpretation of the articulatory features and dimensions, the phones can be treated as vectors in n-dimensional metric space. Then the measures of distances can be employed as measures of similarity between respective phones. By means of applying the Data Mining algorithms the interdependencies in the set of phones can be automatically shown. W artykule pokazano sytuację Polaków we współczesnej Ukrainie, sposoby ich samoorganizacji i problemy w osiągnięciu swoich celów. Zwrócono uwagę na stosunki polskiej mniejszości narodowej z władzami lokalnymi i centralnymi, a także stosunek władz RP do rodaków na Wschodzie. Dokonano porównania z sytuacją Polaków mieszkających na Litwie i Białorusi. Przedstawiono kondycję Ukraińców w Polsce, sposoby ich samoorganizacji i stosunki z władzami państwa zamieszkania.This paper shows the situation of Poles in modern Ukraine, their methods of self-organization and problems in achieving their goals. The article on the basis of fictional literature shows the life of a student-Pole during his studies at the Polytechnic in Kiev in the early twentieth century. The intellectual interests of the young man and the ways of their implementation are shown. An important place in the student’s life was then love affairs. МІЖ ШЛЯХЕТСЬКОЮ ТРАДИЦІЄЮ І КОМУНІЗМОМ. ІЗ ПОВСЯКДЕННОГО ЖИТТЯ НАСЕЛЕННЯ ПОЛЬСЬКОГО НАЦІОНАЛЬНОГО РАЙОНУ – МАРХЛЕВЩИНИ (1925-1935)

The article is devoted to the presentation of the process of Sovietization and the attitude of the Polish population of the Marchewskischyna to it, the only Polish national region created by the Bolshevik authorities in Volyn. It is concluded that the reason for the unpopularity and non-acceptance of the policies of the Soviet power by the Poles, among other things, was the age-old deeply rooted among them noble traditions. The author, on the basis of the archival materials, shows their specific manifestations and features at the specified time.Artykuł poświecony procesowi sowietyzacji i stosunku do niego ludności polskiej Marchlewszczyzny – jedynemu polskiemu narodowościowemu rejonowi, powstałemu z inicjatywy bolszewików na Wołyniu. Wśród przyczyn negacji i nieprzyjęcie przez Polaków polityki władzy m.in. zaważyły wiekowe głęboko zakorzenione szlacheckie tradycje.  Na podstawie materiałów archiwalnych przytoczono ich konkretne przejawy i pokazano specyfikę.Стаття присвячена показу процесу радянизації та ставлення до неї польського населення Мархлевщизни – єдиного польського національного району, створеного більшовицькою владою на Волині. Робиться висновок, що причиною непопулярності та несприйняття поляками політики радянської влади серед іншого послужили вікові глибоко закоріненні серед них шляхетські традиції. Автор на основі архівних матеріалів наводить конкретні їх прояви і особливості у зазначений час
