    PELATIHAN LISTENING GUNA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN WRITING PARTISIPAN DENGAN COLLABORATIVE BLOGGING DAN CREATIVE THINKING

    The aim of the study is to measure the students skills of using blogging and creativethinking in order to improve their writing product on Business EnglIsh. There arefive topics selected and are presented to the students in classroom using nativespeaker voice recorded as the model. The method used in this study is mixedmethod both qualitative and quantitative in form of quacy experiment. The datagathered by questioners in the indepth-interview. The participants are divided intotwo groups: Control and Experiment groups wherein the Experiment group gettraining while the control group is not trained. Both results are compared to provethat the experiment reached higher result. The study results that the experimentgroup reached higher marks on writing through collaborative blogging andcreative thinking. The experimental group has average score for 59 while thecontrol group has the average of 41 score. It is recomended that in the featurestudy the creative thinking of students is measured using sophisticated software tosupport the increase of their creativity.Key words: dictogloss, peer review, collaborative learning and blogging

    The impact of dictogloss and blogging on EFL students’ writing skills in an Indonesian tertiary vocational college

    The purpose of this study is to assess students' writing abilities using dictogloss and blogging. It involved 24 students from vocational colleges and incorporated five audio scripts from Hughes and Naunton's "Students Book of Business Results (Intermediate)" (2008). It employed a mixed method in the form of a quasi-experimental. The data was acquired using questionnaires and interviews. The students were divided into two groups: half were assigned to the control group, while the other half were assigned to the experimental group, which received training while the control group did not. The experimental group achieved a score of 59, whereas the control group achieved an average score of 41. Future research should look in depth at how creatively tertiary vocational college students think, especially through listening activities

    The Use of ICT for Teaching English for Business to Promote Students’ Learning Autonomy

    Teaching using ICT is challenging. It’s difficult to bring an ICT into a classroom of non-English native speakers. We need to know what the differences are between technology literacy, information literacy, computer literacy, internet literacy, digital literacy, and other meaning of literacy as defined by linguists. In my teaching, I have found many authentic materials as resources, from the easiest or more common topics, to more difficult ones in the internet. The problem is, not all students are competent in finding the materials on the internet. Moreover, there is a lack of computers in the classrooms. Teaching Business English across the curriculum (in an  Accounting program of study), requires teachers to be active and creative in running the teaching and learning process. Students worked in a group of four, they did exercises by using authentic materials which had been downloaded from internet or copied. Problem-based learning is assumed to overcome students’ obstacles. In promoting the speaking skills, students had to present their tasks in front of their classmates, and they were sometimes allowed to use their L1 to assess how well their reading comprehension of the passagesKeywords : Teaching Business English using ICT, Problem-based learning, Learning Autonomy

    WORKSHOP IMPLEMENTASI GAMIFIKASI MENGGUNAKAN EDUCANDY DAN QUIZIZZ PADA PEMBELAJARAN MASA COVID-19 BAGI GURU SMK BIMA

    Abstrak: Inovasi pembelajaran yang bisa dikembangkan oleh pendidik adalah gamifikasi, yaitu metode pembelajaran yang mengadaptasi dari elemen-elemen yang terdapat dalam sebuah game. Fitur-fitur game yang diterapkan dalam metode pembelajaran gamifikasi seperti, pemberian reward atau hadiah, dan kuis interaktif akan menambah semangat siswa dan memotivasi untuk meningkatkan eksplorasi pada proses pembelajaran. Dalam kegiatan workshop yang diadakan di SMK IT Al-Farabi Bolo-Bima ini menggunakan metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dengan metode presentase, demonstrasi, dan praktikum. Pada saat praktikum ada dua platform yang digunakan, yaitu platform Educandy dan Quizizz, Educandy digunakan untuk membuat game edukasi sebagai sarana berlatih siswa, sedangkan Quizizz digunakan oleh guru sebagai game edukasi dalam mengoptimalkan evaluasi hasil belajar siswa. Dari 27 peserta workshop diberikan angket penilaian tentang jenis patform yang akan digunakan di kelas, dengan perolehan data sebanyak 2 guru atau 10% berminat menggunakan aplikasi Educandy, dan sebanyak 8 guru atau 38% cenderung memilih aplikasi Quizizz, dan sebanyak 11 guru atau 52% memilih kedua aplikasi tersebut untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Abstract: The learning innovation that can be developed by educators is gamification, which is a learning method that adapts the elements contained in a game. Game features that are applied in gamification learning methods such as giving rewards or prizes, and interactive quizzes will increase students' enthusiasm and motivate them to increase exploration in the learning process. In the workshop activities held at SMK IT Al-Farabi Bolo-Bima, the implementation method was carried out using the presentation, demonstration, and practicum methods. During the practicum, there are two platforms that are used, namely the Educandy and Quizizz platforms, Educandy is used to create educational games as a means of student practice, while Quizizz is used by teachers as educational games in optimizing the evaluation of student learning outcomes. Of the 27 workshop participants, they were given an assessment questionnaire about the type of platform to be used in the classroom, with data obtained as many as 2 teachers or 10% were interested in using the Educandy application, and as many as 8 teachers or 38% tended to choose the Quizizz application, and as many as 11 teachers or 52% chose both applications are to be used in the learning process

    ABSTRAK: Ibu-ibu PKK di Kota Semarang khususnya yang berkediaman di Kelurahan Gedawang, Kecamatan Banyumanik perlu dikenalkan pada media e- commerce untuk membantu proses pemasaran produk rumahannya. Hal ini penting bahwa digital marketing sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan. Melalui media sosial dapat membangun brand dan membangun komunikasi dengan pelanggan dan calon pelanggan dengan bantuan penggunaan new media internet dan untuk mempromosikan produknya. Untuk itulah kegiatan pengabdian kali ini tentang mengenalkan kepada kelompok PKK mengenai pengenalan digital marketing, pelatihan e-commerce dan perancangan pesan persuasif. Pengetahuan tentang digital marketing tidak hanya pada kajian promosi dan pemasaran saja, tetapi juga sudah mencakup pada proses komunikasi dan penjualan. Sementara itu banyak masyarakat yang menggunakan media internet ini namun belum mengerti bagaimana menggunakan teknologi secara bijak. Hasilnya kegiatan ini wanita kelompok PKK mencoba memasarkan produknya melalui Shopee Food dan Grabfood dan GoFood.Kata Kunci: pemberdayaan perempuan, digital marketing, e-commerce, pesan persuasif

    ANALYSIS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER EDUCATION STUDENTS’ CREATIVITY IN CHANGING SONGS INTO SIGN LANGUAGES

    Education for Children with Special Needs (PABK) is an optional course in the Elementary School Teacher Education Students (PGSD) study program where in this course, there is a hearing difficulty (deaf). One of the strategies that prospective educators (in this case students) can do is to prepare themselves when later adapting to children who have hearing impairments. The strategy that can be done in dealing with children with hearing difficulties (deaf) in elementary school is to use sign language. So that the need for students to be trained at least to be able to use simple sign language. So, students are directed to be able to compose songs into sign language. The type of this research is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to determine the creativity of students in composing songs into sign language as one of the strategies in dealing with children with special needs hearing impairments. The subjects in this study were students who were selected based on purposive sampling with the criteria desired by the researcher. This research was conducted by filling in the instruments that had been validated by expert judgment. The results showed that in general, students were able to compose songs into sign language. Based on these results, it can be concluded: that the test results assessed from the research instrument, students were able to compose songs into sign language quite well, this is shown in the results where 77% with a score of 59-69 with a total of 11 students were able to compose songs into sign language. Meanwhile, 23% with a score of 70-80 with a total of 4 students were able to compose songs into sign language well

    Leksikon bahari bahasa Bima adalah kosakata kelautan yang terdapat di wilayah Bima Nusa tenggara Barat. Leksikon bahari dipilih dikarenakan minimnya referensi tentang leksikon bahasa Bima. Perpustakaan sekolah dasar di Bima belum mengoleksi buku tentang leksikon bahasa Bima. Kekurangan referensi tersebut, dapat menjadi salah satu tanda, bahwa bahasa Bima kurang diperhatikan oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini berawal dari keinginan peneliti untuk membahas tentang leksikon bahari yang digunakan masyarakat Bima. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengklasifikasi dan mendeskripsikan leksikon bahari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnolingistik, yaitu kajian fenomena kebahasaan untuk menangkap fakta kebudayaan suatu masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi yang dipilih untuk pengumpulan data adalah Kabupaten Wera dan Kolo dengan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat 229 leksikon bahari dengan 12 leksikon bewujud ide, 27 berwujud aktivitas dan  190 berwujud benda

    This study aims to analyze the significance of the effect of Product Knowledge, Bank Reputation, and Banking Digitalization on Saving Decisions in Sharia Commercial Bank on the people of Semarang City both simultaneously and partially. The population in this study was all people in Semarang City, Central Java, while the sample in this study was 75 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through questionnaires. The analysis model used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, while the analysis technique uses the F statistic test, coefficient of determination test (R2), and t statistic test with the SPSS 26 computer program. The results of hypothesis testing and discussion show that Product Knowledge, Bank Reputation, and Banking Digitalization have a significant effect on Saving Decisions both simultaneously and partially

    This study aims to analyze the effect of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and investment decision with firm size, leverage, and managerial ownership as control variables on firm value during the Covid-19 pandemic, either simultaneously or partially. The population of this study is hotel, restaurant, and tourism companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2020-2021. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method with a total sample of 26 companies. The method of analysis in this study using multiple linear regression. The results showed thatEnterprise Risk Management (ERM) and investment decision with firm size, leverage, and managerial ownershipsimultanously had a significant effect on firm value as indicated by the value of Fcount>Ftable, which was 5.553 > 2.42 with a significance level of 0.000 from significance level of 0.05. The partial test shows that Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), investment decision, and managerial ownership have no significant effect on firm value. Partially, firm size has a significant negative effect on firm value. And leverage partially has a significant positive effect on firm value

    This study aims to analyze the significance effect of Customer Knowledge, Halal Brand, Trust, and Customer Engagement on Customer Loyalty on PT Bank Syariah Indonesia in Semarang both simultaneously and partially. The used data is primary data which collected by using questionnaire. Population in this study were all customer PT Bank Syariah Indonesia in Semarang, while the sample in this study was 115 participants customer PT Bank Syariah Indonesia in Semarang. Sampling is using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis model used in this research is multiple regression analysis, and the analysis technique uses the simultaneously significant test, determination correlation test, and partial significance test with the SPSS 25.00. The results of proving the hypothesis and discussion show that Customer Knowledge, Halal Brand, Trust, and Customer Engagement simultaneously have a significant effect on Customer Loyalty PT Bank Syariah Indonesia in Semarang. Customer Knowledge and Trust partially have positive and insignificant effect on Customer Loyalty, whereas Halal Brand and Customer Engagement partially have positive and significant effect on Customer Loyalty at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia in Semarang.Keywords: Customer Loyalty, Customer Knowledge, Halal Brand, Trust, and Customer Engagement
