    Work-Based Learning Implementation Model in Vocational Education

    Vocational Education andTraining(VET) in Indonesia shows significant progress in this recent 10 years. Better imaging of VET is influenced by some factors, such as policy shift of improving proportion of SMK students, intense imaging of SMK, improvement of vocational education on university level, establishment of National Competence Framework (KKNI) as well as national economic growth. By having this development, all stake holders of Technology and Vocational Education should always conserve this spirit. Reformulation of VET paradigm should be continually conducted in case of democratic society building, social capital development, and national competitiveness aspect. Those will related to policy development, curriculum restructuring, learning model improvement, program evaluation and proffesional development for teacher education as well as LPTK and DUDI partnership. The strategy of learning development on VET implementation should always be conducted so that the graduates competence fulfilling market demand. The learning process on VET should apply Work Based Learning (WBL) approach and DUDI cooperation. In line with technology development, dynamic of working setting, working context challenge and higher working competence, VET is demanded to be able to anticipate and face this global challenge by utilizing capability and capacity of industrial partnership. WBL is a learning approach that utilizes the work place and its experience to contribute to social context, academic, and learner carrier development as well as the supplement of learning activity. The experience of learning in the working area is applied, smoothed, and expanded either on class or work place. By implementing WBL, learners develop attitude, knowledge, skills, insight, behavior, habits, and associations from the experiences of both places and enabling learning process with real working context. Empirical study development of Ro-Ter model (RollingdanTerpadu/Rolling and integrated) in vocational learning of Automotive Diploma III can be developed on VET implementation especially Automotive Engineering Education in LPTK

    WORK-BASED LEARNING OF ROLLING & INTEGRATED MODEL ON VOCATIONAL EDUCATION OF DIPLOMA III AUTOMOTIVE

    This research aims at obtaining: (1) work-based learning model for Diploma III of automotive engineering; (2) the output of work-based learning with the developed model; (3) the response from the program director and company management toward the model. This study can be catagorized asReserach and Development as well as experimental research which was conducted at training center in varoius Brand Right Holder Agents (Agen Pemegang Merek/APM) forAutomotivein Jakarta, Karawang, Tangerang, Bekasi. The population was automotive students who joined Industrial Practice in Yogyakarta and Central Java. Two groups of students of 100 were chosen by purposive sampling technique from 3 state universities and 3 private universities. The experimental study was conducted on July – October 2010with factorial aspect of 2 X 1. Content Validation analysis was conducted by expert judgement. Construct validation was conducted by factor analysis and item reliability was determined by Cronbach’s alpha formula and KR-20. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis, correlation, regression, path, and t-test using the SPSS program of 17. Suitability Test was using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of the LISREL program of 8.80 at significance level of 0.05. The research results showed that Work-Based Learning of Rolling & Integrated was appropriate to increase the learning quality, (2) the output was higher significantly compared to the conventional one which covered automotive mechanic knowledge, professional attitude, working readiness, students autonomy, (3) the response from the program director and company management toward the model can be catagorized as high in case of concept of workbased learning, the implementation and their perception

    Education is a very important thing for the progress of a nation. Success in the field of education will give birth to superior and competitive human resources. The learning process is an effort that can improve the quality of human resources that we can get at school. But there are still many schools today which in their learning process are still conventional or still use books. The learning process like this has many drawbacks, one of which is that students will get bored easily and find it difficult to understand the material. In the current era of advanced technology, there are many technologies that can be used as media in the learning process to replace the role of books, one of which is games. By using educational games as learning media for the introduction of human organs, the learning process will be more interesting and interactive. This research uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method in the process of making this game. With games as a learning medium, students will not get bored easily because they can learn while playing. Based on the results of the questionnaire from 16 respondents, the feasibility level of the game was 76.56% or in the acceptable category. Based on the tests conducted, it can be concluded that this educational game can help students at SDN 18 of South Bengkulu learn about human organs in a more enjoyable way

    Doe Productivity Index of Saburai Goats at Sumberejo and Gisting Districts, Tanggamus Regency

    Saburai goat is a local genetic resource of Lampung Province. Sumberejo and Gisting district are Saburai goat development area. To increase the productivity of Saburai goats in both districts, selection on doe was done based on doe productivity index (DPI).The study was conducted from July 1st, 2017 to October 30th, 2017 to estimate the productivity of Saburai goats based on DPI. Materials of this research were a recording of mating, birth, and weaning weight of 50 of Saburai goat kids, kept in Sumberejo and Gisting district. The Does were in second parity and had weaned the goat kids. Variables observed were litter size (LS), kidding interval (KI), weaning weight (WW) and DPI. The Result indicated that in Sumberejo LS, KI, WW and DPI were 1.74±0.44 heads, 22.00±0.95 months, 21.48±4.04 kg, and 57.52±8.15 kg, respectively. While in Gisting LS, KI, WW, and DPI were 1.44±0.50 heads, 7.86±0.35 months, 15.18±4.32 kg, and 21.02±4.86 kg, respectively. It could be concluded that Saburai doe in Sumberejo district could be selected for breeding stock

    PENGARUH PENGALAMAN PRAKERIN, HASIL BELAJAR PRODUKTIF DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL KELUARGA TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA SMK

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) 2 Ciamis dan (2) hubungan dan pengaruh pengalaman prakerin, hasil belajar mata diklat produktif, dan dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMKN 2 Ciamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto, dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa SMKN 2 Ciamis sebesar 36,65% pada kategori sangat tinggi dan 63,35% pada kategori tinggi. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pengalaman prakerin, hasil belajar mata diklat produktif, dan dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 32,7%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman prakerin, hasil belajar mata diklat produktif dan dukungan sosial keluarga secara bersama-sama mampu menjelaskan perubahan kesiapan kerja siswa SMKN 2 Ciamis sebesar 32,7%. Kata kunci: Pengalaman Prakerin, Hasil Belajar Produktif, Dukungan Sosial, Kesiapan Kerja Siswa

    Pemanfaatan Bagase Tebu Dan Limbah Nanas Sebagai Bahan Baku Penghasil Biogas

    Sugarcane bagasse and pineapple waste were selected as agricultural wastes, by the process of anaerobic fermentation, as well as to study the effect of addition of cow dung, on gas production from sugarcane bagasse, pineapple waste and both blendings. The batch experiment was carried out to use as substrat in 20 L digester for nine treatment of sugarcane bagasse (Bg), pineapple waste (Ns), both blendings (BNs). Completely Randomized experiment method used at the laboratory scale, which intend to found the best combination between Bg-25; Bg-30; Bg-35; Ns-25; Ns-30; Ns-35; BNs-25; BNs-30 and BNs-35. The result showed that during 48 anaerobic fermentation days, the high biogas production of Ns-35; BNs-30 and BNs-35 were 17,2 L; 12,6 L and 12,3 L, respectively. The parameter of TS, VS and COD were decreased, mean while parameter of VFA was increased at initially, the 20 day and 40 day. Quantitative analysis of the flammable biogas from some of the combination showed high methane contents. The Bg-25 had 75% CH4content, BNs-35 had 74% CH4 content and Bg-30 had 70 % CH4 content. The result of semi-continuos scale of 300 L digester showed that the optimal performance of bioreactor was feeding rate at 1,4 kg TS/L/day; 2,3 kg TS/L/day and 4,1 kg TS/L/day which resulted in biogas 64.4 L/ day with methane content is 70 %

    ANALISIS PENGARUH TEGANGAN INDUKSI PETIR TERHADAP KUALITAS KOMUNIKASI DATA (Analysis of the Effects of Lightning Induced Voltage on the Quality of Data Communications)

    Indonesia merupakan negara yang mempunyai hari guruh pertahun yang sangat tinggi dibandingkan dengan negera-negara lain. Kerapatan sambaran petir di Indonesia juga sangat besar yaitu 12/?km?^2/tahun, yang berarti pada setiap luas area 1 ?km?^2 berpotensi menerima sambaran petir sebanyak 12 kali setiap tahunnya [1]. Sambaran petir tidak langsung dapat menginduksi saluran telekomunikasi, mengalirkan (konduksi) gelombang elektromagnetik didalam jaringan telekomunikasi yang berupa tegangan induksi yang sering dianggap sebagai noise. Sinyal noise dapat mengganggu sinyal informasi yang berakibat informasi yang diterima Rx menjadi rusak atau salah dalam membaca informasi tersebut. Untuk meminimalisir gangguan jaringan telekomunikasi khususnya pentransmisian sinyal informasi maka perlu diketahui efek yang ditimbulkan dari gangguan atau noise tersebut sehingga diketahui faktor yang dapat meminimalisir pengaruh yang terjadi. Pada tugas akhir ini menggunakan metode perhitungan model teori rusck, modulasi BFSK dan pemodelan AWGN untuk mengetahui nilai tegangan induksi yang dapat menurunkan kualitas BER dan SNR suatu komunikasi data. Hasil pengujian sistem simulasi pada tugas akhir ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem komunikasi data menjadi tidak layak untuk digunakan ketika nilai tegangan induksi lebih dari sama dengan 8.0611 volt dan nilai SNR kurang dari sama dengan 1.8721 db, karena nilai tersebut menghasilkan nilai BER yang tidak memenuhi standar kualitas komunikasi data.
