    PELAYANAN ADMINISTRASI KESISWAAN PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH FADHILAH PEKANBARU

    ABSTRAK Nurhafni Siregar, (2021) : Pelayanan Administrasi Kesiswaan Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Fadhilah Pekanbaru Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan mengenai: 1) pelaksanaan pelayanan administrasi kesiswaan pada masa pandemi covid-19; 2) faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelayanan administrasi kesiswaan pada masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, informan utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu tata usaha sedangkan informan tambahan yaitu kepala sekolah, waka kesiswaan, siswa dan wali siswa. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di lapangan, diperoleh temuan sebagai berikut: 1) pelaksanaan pelayanan administrasi kesiswaan pada masa pandemi covid-19 di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Fadhilah Pekanbaru secara umum telah dijalankan dengan baik. Adapun aspek-aspek yang menjadi fokus pelayanan administrasi kesiswaan di madrasah tersebut yaitu ada empat hal yang meliputi kegiatan: a) penerimaan siswa baru yang didalamnya dilakukan pembentukan panitia dalam pelaksanaan siswa baru, menetukan syarat-syarat penerimaan siswa baru, mengadakan pengumuman pendaftaran, dan menentukan daya tampung, b) ketatausahaan siswa baru yang mana termasuk pembukuan induk siswa, kloper seta tata tertib sekolah, c) masa orientasi siswa baru yang bertuju sebagai perkenalan fasilitas, program sekolah, serta kebijakannya, d) dan pencatatan prestasi belajar siswa melalui daftar nilai , legger, rapor dan mutasi siswa. 2) Faktor pendukung dalam pelayanan administrasi kesiswaan pada masa pandemi covid-19 di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Fadhilah Pekanbaru yaitu adanya rasa tanggung jawab yang ditanamkan pegawai tata usaha dan pendidik dalam menjalankan tugasnya, adanya aturan yang telah ditetapkan dan memadainya sarana dan prasarana. Sementara itu faktor penghambatnya yaitu faktor sarana dan prasarana dan faktor kurangnya tenaga administrasi di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Fadhilah Pekanbaru. Kata Kunci: Pelayanan, Administrasi, Kesiswaa

    SOSIALISASI PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE TEACHING (CRT) DI UPT SD NEGERI 067250 MEDAN

    Pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang menjadi mitra adalah UPT SD NEGERI 067250 Medan yang beralamat di Jl.mangaan I Gg Amal I kelurahan Mabar Hilir Kecamatan Medan Deli Kota Medan. Masalah mitra dari hasil observasi diketahui masih banyak guru yang belum memahami proses Pembelajaran Berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dengan baik dan benar hal ini dapat dilihat dari seluruh jumlah guru yang hadir pada kegiatan PKM sebanyak 30 Guru yang akan mengikuti Pembelajaran Berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) hanya 3 orang saja yang  pernah mendengar Pembelajaran Berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) sedangkan 27 orang guru belum mengetahuinya. Metode kegiatan ini : (1) Penyajian materi mengenai pembelajran berbasis Culturally Pesponsive Teaching (CRT).  , (2) Pendampingan sosialisasi pembelajaran berbasis budaya, (3) Evaluasi kegiatan dengan memberikan angket, (4) Refleksi hasil kegiatan. Dari keseluruhan rangkaian proses kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan, jumlah guru yang hadir yang ada berjumlah 30 orang, sehingga total dari kegiatan tersebut adalah 100% guru ikut berpartisipasi dan antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan pembuatan Pembelajaran Berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) Sebanyak 90% guru memberikan respon berupa pertanyaan dapat memahami Pembelajaran Berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT). Dan 10 % memberikan pernyataan belum memahami dengan baik terkait kegiatan tersebut di UPT SD NEGERI 067250

    Developing Students’ Worksheet for English Language Teaching to Cope with the 4C’s Skill Through Project Based Learning

    This research aims to implement and evaluate design concepts and develop a PjBL-based students worksheet adapted to teaching materials to improve the 4C’s skill of Senior High School students in English subjects. Development research was used in this research. The PjBL-based students' worksheet was developed by matching the criteria for the components of the students' worksheet model: model syntax, social systems, management reaction principles, support systems, instructional impacts, and accompaniments, as well as other necessary instruments. The instruments developed were students' worksheet model validation sheets and learning tools validated by experts and practitioners. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this research indicated that the Project-based Learning (PjBL)-based students' worksheet model met the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness to improve the 4C's skills of Senior High School students which contained: (a) syntax, (b) social system built on the principle of collaboration, (c) the principle of management reaction in which teachers act as facilitators, motivators, moderators, and consultants, (d) support systems in the form of Learning Implementation Plans, Teacher Books, Student Books, and Participant Worksheets Educate, (e) instructional impact in the form of students' 4C's skills and accompaniment impact in the form of critical thinking, creative thinking, responsibility, openness, and understanding of concepts

    Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih minimnya pemahaman nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup dalam bermasyarakat dan berbangsa serta belum maksimalnya penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila pada peserta didik di tingkat pendidikan sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi pemahaman kepada guru-guru di UPT SD NEGERI 067250 Medan yang beralamat di Jl.Mangaan I Gg Amal I kelurahan Mabar Hilir Kecamatan Medan Deli Kota Medan. Peserta pengabdian adalah guru-guru di UPT SD NEGERI 067250. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi ini, para guru lebih dapat memahami makna nilai-nilai Pancasila dan dapat mengaplikasikannya di sekolah serta guru mampu membawa arah perubahan perkembangan siswa lebih baik lebih mencintai bangsa dan negaranya yang berkarakter Pancasila. Di dunia pendidikan, Pancasila dijadikan sebagai acuan dan pegangan guru dalam mengajar siswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.Peserta pengabdian adalah guru-guru di UPT SD NEGERI 067250 yang berjumlah 30 orang.     Determining Proportion of Exfoliative Vaginal Cell during Various Stages of Estrus Cycle Using Vaginal Cytology Techniques in Aceh Cattle

    The aim of this study was to investigate the period of estrus cycle in aceh cattle, Indonesia, based on vaginal cytology techniques. Four healthy females of aceh cattle with average weight of 250–300 kg, age of 5–7 years, and body condition score of 3-4 were used. All cattle were subjected to ultrasonography analysis for the occurrence of corpus luteum before being synchronized using intramuscular injections of PGF2 alpha 25 mg. A vaginal swab was collected from aceh cattle, stained with Giemsa 10%, and observed microscopically. Period of estrus cycle was predicted from day 1 to day 24 after estrus synchronization was confirmed using ultrasonography analysis at the same day. The result showed that parabasal, intermediary, and superficial epithelium were found in the vaginal swabs collected from proestrus, metestrus, and diestrus aceh cattle. Proportions of these cells in the particular period of estrus cycle were 36.22, 32.62, and 31.16 (proestrus); 21.33, 32.58, and 46.09 (estrus); 40.75, 37.58, and 21.67 (metestrus); and 41.07, 37.38, and 21.67 (diestrus), respectively. In conclusion, dominant proportion of superficial cell that occurred in estrus period might be used as the base for determining optimal time for insemination

    An Investigation of Classroom Practices in Teaching Listening Comprehension at English Education Program

    The objective of this study is to investigate how the classroom practice in teaching listening comprehension at English Education Program of STKIP Tapanuli Selatan in 2016/2017 Academic Year is. The informants of this research were all of second semester students of STKIP Tapanuli Selatan in 2016/2017 academic year and a lecturer of listening comprehension at STKIP Tapanuli Selatan (63 students and one lecturer). A descriptive study was used to achieve the objective of the study. The sample was taken by cluster sampling. The data were collected by using interview to know how the lecturer carried out the teaching practice of listening, and questionnaire  for the students and observation were used to find out how the calssroom activities were conducted. The descriptive analysis was used to anayse the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (1) the lecturer carried out listening activities into four parts, they are preparation, prediction stage, listening, and post listening, and (2) the practice of teaching listening was effective related to the teaching pedagogical procedures in teaching listening comprehension. although there were some points that should be practice further. Based on the findings, it was recomended that the lecturer and the students may apply the less activities that had not been done

    DEVELOPING TEACHING PROCEDURE OF LISTENING COMPREHENSION THROUGH METACOGNITIVE STRATEGY

    In the context of education at the elementary, secondary and tertiary level, communicative competence in English has a function as a tool for accessing information, fostering interpersonal relationships, and exchanging information. Listening activities have a portion of 45% of communication skills, which is also the basis for the acquisition of foreign languages which includes all three other language skills (speaking, reading, and writing). However, so far there has been a gap between expectations and reality in learning listening courses in higher education, especially in the UMN Al-Wasliyah English Language Education Study Program. In accordance with the observations of researchers as teaching staff in the UMN Al-Wasliyah English Language Education Study Program, there are still many students who do not have adequate knowledge and skills in listening courses. The purpose of this study is to realize the learning process of listening courses that can improve students’ thinking through metacognitive strategies. The results of this development are useful to improve the quality of the process and student achievement and also have a strategic function in the learning process, which can increase students' confidence, responsibility, and motivation. The research subjects were students of the English Language Education study program UMN Al-Wasliyah in the fourth semester of the 2018/2019 academic year as many as 30 people.     The Effectiveness of Debate Course in Improving The Students’ Critical Thinking at Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah Medan

    Seorang pemikir kritis mahir dalam membuat konsep, menerapkan, menganalisis, mensintesis, atau mengevaluasi data yang dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan kursus debat. Berpikir kritis adalah proses disiplin intelektual yang aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkarakterisasi pemikiran kritis siswa. Untuk mengklasifikasikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan mengikutsertakan peserta dalam kegiatan mata kuliah debat, penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi deskriptif. Rubrik penilaian berpikir kritis siswa yang memuat metode debat yaitu pemeriksaan diri, interpretasi, analisis, inferensi, dan evaluasi digunakan sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase seluruh butir soal dari pertemuan pertama hingga pertemuan ketiga cukup kuat, dengan persentase interpretasi (50%), analisis (56,2%), inferensi (50%), dan pemeriksaan mandiri (50%) yang tinggi. 62,6%). Sebaliknya siswa cenderung memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang lemah. Meskipun tidak ada peningkatan yang nyata, pada setiap pertemuan jumlah siswa yang mendapat nilai buruk menurun sebesar 75%, meningkat menjadi 68,8% dan kemudian 62,5%. Selain itu, ada dua anak yang mendapat nilai pada level yang diterima pada pertemuan terakhir. Mengingat hal ini, dapat dikatakan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa pada pertemuan debat bahasa Inggris di Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah Medan menunjukkan pemikiran kritis yang kurang. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat berpikir kritis siswa tumbuh, disarankan untuk menerapkan teori Facione untuk menguji pemikiran kritis siswa. Hasilnya, siswa dapat mengintensifkan kegiatan debat reguler mereka, yang akan membantu pengembangan pemikiran kritis mereka di penghujung hari
