Solvency index at differentiated levels of corporate governance according the models from Elizabetsky (1976), Kanitz (1978), Matias (1978) and Altman (1979): the case of the brazilian electricity sector

This Article aimed to identify whether there is a relationship between good practices of corporate governance and the real solvency/insolvency ratio of companies from the Brazilian electricity sector, using to this end, four distinct models for the solvency calculation: Elizabetsky (1976), Kanitz (1978), Matias (1978) and Altman (1979). For this, it was performed a descriptive and experimental study of discriminant type using the linear regression analysis between the periods 2007 to 2011. The results show that there is no a consensus among the models used, because in the Elizabetsky’s model, the companies analyzed show up insolvent, while in models of Kanitz and Matias the companies analyzed show up solvents, and in the Altman’s model there is a balance between solvent and insolvent. Moreover, with the regression analysis, it was found that there were no standards of performance or relations between the solvency indexes and the differentiated levels of corporate governance. That is, good practices of corporate governance – that allow the insertion of the companies best levels of corporate governance listed on the stock exchange – do not necessarily imply in better solvency, as one might assume

Categorização de Erros em Atividades Avaliativas sobre as Leis Termodinâmicas

Este trabalho teve por finalidade analisar e categorizar os erros encontrados em atividades avaliativas sobre as leis termodinâmicas, no contexto da disciplina de Físico-Química, considerando eles parte integrante do processo de ensino e aprendizagem e fundamental para a construção ou reconstrução do conhecimento. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter documental tendo como objeto de estudo as provas dos alunos matriculados na disciplina de Físico-Química I do curso de Química-Licenciatura do Centro Acadêmico do Agreste da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco nos semestres 2016.1 e 2016.2. Para análise dos resultados, foi feita a categorização dos erros a partir de uma adaptação da MADE (Modelo de Análise Didática dos Erros). Os resultados obtidos mostram que os discentes tem maior dificuldade na categoria de organização da informação, fato que evidencia o maior grau de dificuldade ao se analisar, sintetizar, ordenar e conectar os dados que os discentes possuem para recodificá-los na informação pertinente ao questionamento realizado

Os Diálogos Presentes no Filme "O Menino e o Mundo" com a Educação Ambiental

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o filme “O menino e o mundo” relacionando os diálogos presentes nele entre Educação Ambiental e divulgação científica. O filme é uma animação brasileira que retrata a realidade a partir da visão de uma criança. Por meio da apresentação de sua trajetória de vida, diversas críticas sociais são feitas no decorrer da história, sendo um possível meio para discussões acerca da realidade brasileira. Para a construção desse trabalho foi feita uma análise qualitativa de cenas consideradas significativas para a discussão da Educação Ambiental. Algumas das cenas que podemos elencar na discussão da Educação Ambiental são as que mostram as condições precárias de trabalho em que os indivíduos estão submetidos, o trabalho alienado nas fábricas e a influência da mídia na formação de opinião da população. Também fica claro no filme como as questões sociais, politicas, econômicas e culturais se relacionam e influenciam no meio ambiente. Assim, o filme se relaciona com a Educação Ambiental, pois traz muitas críticas à realidade da nossa sociedade, em relação às desigualdades e injustiças sociais, à exploração do homem e dos recursos naturais. Tendo em vista que o filme retrata questões da realidade social, a Educação Ambiental, a partir de um viés crítico, tem papel importante para a compreensão dessas questões abordadas uma vez que ela possibilita uma visão holística do meio, permitindo uma relação entre os diversos âmbitos da sociedade e os conhecimentos científicos. Nesse sentido, entende-se que o cinema tem capacidade de impactar, sensibilizar, desenvolver a imaginação e a criatividade dos espectadores, além de ser um meio de socialização e de produção de conhecimento. Ainda, ele permite o telespectador conhecer diferentes realidades e fazer uma articulação entre os diversos âmbitos da sociedade

UM RELATO SOBRE AS ATIVIDADES LIGADAS À HISTÓRIA DA MÚSICA AFRO-BRASILEIRA DESENVOLVIDAS PELO NÚCLEO DE ESTUDOS EDUCAÇÃO, CULTURA E SOCIEDADE (NEECS) DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE LAVRAS

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo relatar os estudos feitos pelo Núcleo de Estudos Educação, Cultura e Sociedade  (NEECS) da Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA) acerca da história da música brasileira, em particular de matizes africanas. As atividades foram iniciadas em julho de 2017 e envolveram todos os alunos do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) do curso de Ciências Biológicas da UFLA. O núcleo teve como principal meio de comunicação um grupo do Facebook aberto a quem se interessasse em que as postagens eram feitas e a partir delas se davam os estudos. As sínteses finais das convergências musicais encontradas neste estudo e, igualmente disponibilizadas, foram: o maxixe, o choro e o samba. Deste último, procurou-se descrever uma segunda linha de tempo a partir de sua primeira gravação “Pelo telefone”. Esta linha de tempo do samba apresenta Donga, Pixinguinha, João da Baiana. Sinhô, Ismael Silva e, encerra a jornada com Noel Rosa. A partir do estudo foi possível perceber o grande potencial da música na formação de professores e na compreensão da história da formação da sociedade brasileira.

O conhecimento de crianças de escola pública sobre alimentação saudável: relato de experiência

É sabido que a alimentação é fundamental para o desenvolvimento infantil, pois uma dieta saudável proporciona energia e nutrientes essenciais para o organismo. Além disso, a adoção de hábitos alimentares ajuda no desempenho acadêmico e cognitivo. Dessa maneira, a educação alimentar e nutricional é um tema importante e necessário para crianças, sendo especialmente abordado no âmbito escolar

Marketing Approach of Brazilian Wind Energy Sector

Prospects for the wind energy market have proposed changes of focus to managerial issues. The objective of this article is to map the specific market factors from Brazilian wind energy industry, in order to develop reflections and considerations on the subject, towards to the managerial, strategic and commercial development of the sector. Through an exploratory methodology in empirical format, and by a SWOT analysis of Telescopic Observations Strategic Framework, were found results that show funding and grants determined by Brazilian government, as the big question of the wind energy industry marketing, allowing the economic viability of wind energy projects. Further, it appears that the wind energy industry is eager to investments and has great potential for new business, but there are problems within the producing companies which that have to be assessed, such as the competitiveness capability, the high equipment costs, the installation locations limitations and lack of specialized employees with specific skills and capacities

Pessoas transgêneras e o mundo do trabalho: desafios e reflexões sobre o compromisso ético e político da Psicologia

In the contemporary world, non-compliance with gender norms produces discrimination in different social contexts, including at work. Understanding labor as a central element in the constitution of human beings, in this theoretical essay, we address the daily challenges faced by transgender people and their impact on professional insertion, in addition to discussing the ethical and political commitment of Psychology towards this population. In this way, we verify the importance of addressing the themes “gender” and “work” in a critical manner, in both professional training and performance. We argue that Psychology, as a science and profession, must reflect critically on the possibilities and work situations encountered by trans people and act so as to contribute to disrupting the view that naturalizes and/or attributes the responsibility for social exclusion exclusively to the subject.Na contemporaneidade, a não conformidade às normas de gênero produz discriminações nos diversos contextos sociais, incluindo o laboral. Compreendendo o trabalho como um elemento central na constituição do ser humano, no presente artigo, organizado como ensaio teórico, abordamos os desafios cotidianos enfrentados pelas pessoas transgêneras e seus impactos na inserção profissional, além de discutir o compromisso ético e político da Psicologia com essa população. Dessa forma, buscamos refletir sobre a importância de se abordar a temática “gênero” e “trabalho”, de forma crítica, na formação e atuação profissional. Defendemos que é essencial que a Psicologia, enquanto ciência e profissão, reflita criticamente sobre as possibilidades e situações de trabalho encontradas pelas pessoas trans e atue de forma a contribuir com o rompimento da visão que naturaliza e/ou atribui exclusivamente ao sujeito a responsabilidade pela exclusão social

MANAGEMENT LEARNING: AN ANALYTICAL APPROACH TO TEACHING METHODOLOGIES ASSOCIATED WITH COGNITIVE CAPABILITIES

The learning within the major universities in the entire world goes through a specific problem: the lack of effectiveness in the teaching-learning process. Thus, in order to develop theories and proposals to improve this process, as part of the management learning; this following article aims to develop a bibliographic analysis that associate teaching methodologies with cognitive capabilities, to create a structural map of teaching activities that guide the learning process in classroom, basing on student characteristics. From this, this study starts from the premise that the learning process should be used as a strategy for planning the teaching-learning process. Through a specific analysis of parsimonious character and theoretically grounded, it is understood a series of learning activities appropriate to cognitive abilities, so that proposed here a functionalist model of teaching and learning that seeks greater usefulness in the transfer of knowledge in classroom

ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION: THE FORMATION OF PRICE OF WIND ENERGY IN THE STATE OF RIO GRANDE DO NORTE

O cenário energético mundial nos últimos anos tem passado por um processo de mudança devido ao aumento dos preços dos combustíveis fósseis e dos impactos ambientais, impelindo inúmeros investimentos e estudos em energia eólica. A isso, o estado do Rio Grande do Norte tem recebido diversos investimentos, com a construção de novos parques eólicos na região, tendo em vista, este ter o maior potencial eólico do Brasil, que por sua vez tem fomentado o setor com políticas específicas à produção de energia renovável. Nesse sentido, o seguinte artigo tem por objetivo desenvolver um modelo de formação de preço da energia eólica no estado do Rio Grande do Norte no processo de gestão energética dessa inovação sustentável. Em formato teórico-empírico, por uma metodologia exploratória e explicativa, encontraram-se resultados que evidenciam e definem as principais variáveis que interferem no preço da energia eólica, sendo estas: os custos com equipamentos, os incentivos governamentais e o formato brasileiro de competitividade dos leilões de energia elétrica.The world energy scene in recent years has been undergoing a process of change due to rising fossil fuel prices and environmental impacts, prompting numerous studies and investments in wind energy. Thereto, the state of Rio Grande do Norte has received several investments with the construction of new wind farms in the region in view of it has the greatest wind potential of Brazil, which in turn has boosted the industry with specific policies to renewable energy production. Accordingly, the following article aims to develop a model for pricing of wind energy in the state of Rio Grande do Norte within the process of energetic management of this sustainability. In theoretical and empirical format through an exploratory and explanatory methodology, were found results that show and define the main variables that affect the price of wind energy, which are: the equipment costs, government incentives and the Brazilian format of competitiveness in auctions of electricity system

SCALE OF ATTITUDES TOWARDS THE TERM OF FREE, PRIOR AND INFORMED CONSENT (FPIC) AND THE HUMANIZATION PROCESS ON MEDICAL FIELD

The objectives of the following article is to develop and verify the factorial validity and the internal consistency of the Scale of Attitudes toward the Term of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) and the Humanization Process on Medical field, based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour. The study started from an analysis of the key concepts of humanization for the purpose of giving theoretical support to the empirical research. So, for the validation process of the instrument developed, it counted with the participation of 164 Brazilian medical students [61% female], with aged 19 to 34 years old (M=22.58, SD=2.27). Thus, were proceeded the Exploratory Factor Analysis and the Cronbach’s alpha test. The results confirmed that this scale of 14 items make an one-dimensional measure which reliably predicts Attitudes, Subjective Norms, Perceived of Control and Behavioural Intention in relation to the FPIC and the humanization process. Theoretical and empirical implications of the results are discussed about the instrument developed. Thereto, it was possible to identify the total scores for each one of the components, to create an instrument that can be used to find behavioural patterns between groups, and verifying the relationship between variables through the correlation and the level of explanation of the antecedent variables as the consequential variables
