Issuing a disaster certificate, which is used to decide the contents of a victim’s support, requires accuracy and rapidity. However, in Japan at large, issuing of damage certificates has taken a long time in past earthquake disasters. Hence, the government needs a more efficient mechanism for issuing damage certificates. This study developed an estimation system of roof-damaged buildings to obtain an overview of earthquake damage based on aero-photo images using deep learning. To provide speedy estimation, this system utilized the trimming algorithm, which automatically generates roof image data using the location information of building polygons on GIS (Geographic Information System). Consequently, the proposed system can estimate, if a house is covered with a blue sheet with 97.57 % accuracy and also detect whether a house is damaged, with 93.51 % accuracy. It would therefore be worth considering the development of an image recognition model and a method of collecting aero-photo data to operate this system during a real earthquake

The camphanic acid amide 4 has efficiently been oxidized with triphenylcarbenium tetrafluoroborate (3) to yield the chiral N-acyliminium ion 1. Trapping reactions of 1 with the silyl nucleophiles 7a-c and 10a-f proceeded with stereoselective bond formation, affording the diastereomers (R)-8/(S)-9a-c and (R)-11/(S)-12a-f, respectively, with diastereoselectivities of up to 93.9/6.1. The amido ketones (R)-8/(S)-9a-c were employed in the synthesis of the secondary amines (R)-16a-c, (S)-16a and for the preparation of (-)-homolaudanosine (R)-18. By X-ray crystallography the conformation of 1 in the crystal lattice was established and the preferred conformation of 1 in solution was elucidated by NOE experiments. Finally, the addition reaction of 7a to the iminium ion 21 derived from menthyl carbamate 20 was investigated, which reaction, however, proceeded only with insignificant asymmetric induction

In Japan, Long-term Care Insurance System was started in 2000 year. The market mechanism was introduced in the system. Therefore the service provider of the private sector increased. However, the difference of the quality of the service came to appear. In the same way as Japan, the country which adopted the market mechanism in the field of social care is the U.K. This report inspect social care reform of the U.K

Copper ion catalyzed carbon?carbon bond forming reaction of N-acyliminium ions with diaryl malonates was achieved with high enantioselectivity. The key intermediates in the method were 2-methoxy-3,4-didehydropiperidines, which were easily prepared through electrochemical oxidation of 1-(p-methoxybenzoyl)piperidine in methanol followed by the conversion of the oxidation product to didehydropiperidine derivative, which was subjected to a chiral Cu(II) catalyzed coupling reaction with diaryl malonates affording diaryl 2-piperidylmalonates. The maximum % ee (ee, enantiomeric excess) was 97% when di-p-chlorophenyl malonate was used as a nucleophile

AbstractWe cloned novel Na+-ATPase (HANA) cDNA from marine alga Heterosigma akashiwo. The full-length HANA cDNA was 4467 bp long and coded for a 1330 amino acid protein with a molecular weight of 146 306. The deduced product exhibited around 40% identity in amino acids with Na+/K+-ATPase α-subunits. A hydrophilic sequence of 285 amino acid residues that showed no homology with any sequence listed in databases existed in the M7–M8 junction of HANA. This is the first report on the primary structure of putative Na+-transporting ATPase from plant cells
