Reasons and Objectives Integrating Press into the Curriculum: An Empirical Study

Our study is partly based on the UNESCO’ General Assemblies Recommendations, and its guidelines considered by many countries. Moreover, is based on the current legal Spanish regulations of the Ministry of Education and Culture relating the curricular integration of the communication media into teaching. The law does not ensure the results expected right away, but provides guidelines and stimulus to start the process with some guarantees. On the other hand, our study wants to answer to the new situation created by the massive expansion of communication media and new technologies, and also their uncontrolled effects and the necessity of relating teaching with the new realities. Motivation, didactic possibilities, relationship with the press among others is present when teachers start working with press, showing similar scores. More that half of teachers finds these new resources as feelings enhancers, what is new and very valuable. If this is true, we will be in front of a more humanist and humanizing model. Training of the global man is important, not only reasoning but also feelings. There is also post experiment evidence that press generates a creative attitude in students, and at the same time it provides them with new knowledge, which is very important. Because of these and other reasons there must be training for a new type of teacher that integrates media to attain new learning and new attitudes towards media and new knowledge without forgetting a critical and analytical attitude to design a new model of student

Hoy prima lo digital. Sigo apelando, si en un tiempo a la ley, ahora a la razón pedagógica, a la toma de decisiones de los docentes y a la autonomía de centros para restablecer sus estilos de aprendizaje y la captura de recursos de actualidad con valor educativo. Sigo creyendo en la posibilidad de aprovechar didáctica, curricularmente, tantos recursos de actualidad como se depositan en los medios de comunicación clásicos: periódicos, revista, radio y televisión, bien en soporte papel, audio, video o digital.Nowadays, digital media prevails. L'aventure du savoir. Analyse du programme éducatif de la télévision espagnole

Esta investigación pretende acercarse a un programa y modelo de televisión educativa y que ya lleva bastante tiempo en antena. Su evaluación nos parece posible y recomendable. El análisis, las conclusiones y sugerencias de orientación que del mismo se derivan, creemos que son una buena aportación. Hay otros programas que pueden tomar en consideración estos resultados. Este trabajo fruto de estudio y reflexión está encaminado a la propuesta de mejora La investigación pone de manifiesto que el programa, es poco conocido. Ni siquiera su existencia. Quienes lo siguen, lo hacen rara vez y no aciertan a ver su utilidad, ni su integración en los ámbitos de la formación tanto en áreas como niveles. Dado su carácter institucional y a tenor de los resultados observados, conviene por parte de los responsables del programa, realizar una reestructuración por áreas de conocimiento o segmentos de destinatarios para que su seguimiento resulte más fácil. Los horarios de emisión tampoco parece que son los más adecuados. Especialistas en estrategias didácticas y técnicas informativas podrían ofrecer formatos- tipo que augurasen procesos de más fácil seguimiento y retentividad.This research has tried to get closer to a programme and model of educative television which is running for a long time in the air, so its evaluation seems to be possible and advisable. When the analysis is well done, its conclusions and suggestions of orientation coming from it never arrive late. There will always be programmes that could take into account its results. In this sense, we can say we are dealing wiht founded opinions, coming from the study and reflection looking for the proposal of improvement. This study shows that the existence of the programme is not very well known. Those people, who follow it, only do it from time to time, and they cannot clearly see its utility or its integration in the fields of formation, nor in subjects or in levels. Due to its institutional chracter, and as a consequence from the results obtained, the responsible persons of the programme should consider its rearrangement in areas of knowledge or segments of addressees , so its following up was easier. The broadcasting shedules do not seem to be the most appropriate one. Dans ce sense on peut dire qu" il s'aagit des opinions fondamentées et fruit de l'étude et reflexion dirigée à la proposition 'amélioration. L'étude met en évidence que l'existence du programme est peu connue. Ceux qui le suivent, le font de temps en temps et n' arrivent pas à trouver sa utilité, ni sa intégration dans le cadre de la formation, tant dans des matières que dans des niveaux. Pour son caractère instituionnel et d'après les résultats obsrvés il convient aux responsables du programme de réaliser une refonte par matières de connaissance ou segments de destinataires pour que sa suite soit plus facile. Les horaires d' émission ne sont pas non plus les plus adéquats. Des spécialistes en stratégies didactiques et techniques informatives pourraient offrir des formts-type qui augurassent des procès plus faciles à suivre et neteneir dans la mémoire

Virtuelle Tools in Spanien: Kontexte und Probleme der Nutzung als Planungsgrundlage für Bildungsangebote

Das Bildungswesen in Spanien steht – wie in Europa überhaupt – vor der Herausforderung, Bedingungen zu schaffen, die es allen Bürgerinnen und Bürgern ermöglichen, die Kompetenzen zu erwerben, die für eine sachgerechte und verantwortungsbewusste Nutzung der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien notwendig sind. Für eine angemessene Planung von Bildungsangeboten ist das Wissen um die Nutzung der digitalen Möglichkeiten, d. h. ihrer Häufigkeit und Kontexte, ihrer Bedingungen und Schwierigkeiten, von grundlegender Bedeutung. Demgemäss werden in diesem Beitrag Ergebnisse aus einer Übersichtsstudie in Spanien dargestellt, bei der es darum ging, Nutzungshäufigkeiten und Nutzungszusammenhänge sowie bestehende Problemlagen bei der Verwendung von Kommunikationstechnologien zu erfassen.
