    The Influence of Islamic Work Ethic and Job Satisfaction on Organizational Commitment: Islamic Educational Institution Evidence

    The influence of work ethics on employee performance is highly important. There has been indeed contradictive sight on some researches related to religious alliances. This research is aimed at analyzing the direct and indirect influence of Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment through job satisfaction. Data analysis is used path analysis.  The sample of the study consists of 70 respondents. The result shows that Islamic work ethics has direct and indirect influence on organizational commitment. The indirect influence of Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment is lower than the direct one. Islamic work ethics can increase organizational commitment indirectly through job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the total indirect influence of Islamic work ethic on organizational commitment is smaller than the direct one. The managerial implication of the current research is that the principal should conduct an ongoing assessment on the work satisfaction of the teachers and employees in order to enhance their organizational commitment.JEL Classification: I23, J2

    Kesadaran Hukum Masyarakat Terhadap Kepemilikan E-KTP di Desa Marawan Lama Kecamatan Dusun Utara Kabupaten Barito Selatan

    Penelitian yang menggunakan penelitian kualitatif bertujuan untuk memahami obyek yang diteliti secara mendalam dan mengembangkan pemahaman akan satu atau lebih dari fenomena yang dihadapi. Penelitian di Desa Marawan Lama Kecamatan Dusun Utara  Kabupaten Barito Selatan.  Subjek penelitian yaitu 1 Orang Kepala Desa, 1 Orang sekretaris Desa. 2 Orang Tokoh Masyarakat dan 4 Orang masyarakat yang belum memiliki e-KTP dengan jumlah seluruhnya 8 (Delapan) Orang.  Pengumpulan data lembar observasi, wawancara untuk Studi Tentang Kesadaran Hukum Masyarakat Terhadap Kepemilikan e-KTP di Desa Marawan Lama Kecamatan Dusun Utara  Kabupaten Barito Selatan. Teknik analisis data, penulis menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data atau display data kemudian penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Masyarakat di Desa Marawan Lama hamper semua mempunyai e-KTP. Yang tidak memiliki e-KTP 22 Orang  dan yang memiliki e-KTP 1.067 dan yang terdata wajib miliki e-KTP  1.089 Orang.  Di peroleh data 2,02% yaitu dari jumlah yang memiliki e-KTP sebanyak 22 kali 100 dibagi 1.089 hasilnya 2.02%. ini berarti masyarakat sadar akan hukum.  (2) Syarat dalam pembuatan e-KTP:  Warga Negara Indonesia, Berusia 17 tahun atau lebih, Menunjukan surat pengantar, Mengisi formulir F1, Foto Kopi Kartu Keluarga.  (3) Manfaat dari pembuatan e-KTP adalah untuk sebagai tanda identitas diri warga negara, sebagai syarat untuk pembuatan SIM, pembuata nsurat – surat tanah, layanan BPJS, membuka tabungan di Bank serta andministrasi penduduk lainya. Faktor pendukung pembuatan e-KTP untuk mendapat identitas yang sah, takut rajia polisi, pembuatan SIM,dan layanan BPJS, serta kepentingan data penduduk yang lainya. Faktor penghambat pembuatan e-KTP keterbatasan biaya, pembuatan e-KTP tidak langsung jadi. Ketidak tahuan masyarakat atas kesadaran hukum dalam kepemilikan e-KTP

The study aims to obtain data on The Opinion Of SMKN 1 Pacet Students On Learning Outcome “Operate Food And Beverage Service Equipment” As Readiness Of Industry Working Practice At The Hotel Restaurant in relates to the physical, mental, emotional, motivation and knowledge condition. The method of research is used descriptive. The population of 47 individuals with a purposive sample of 40 people, collecting data using questionnaires. The results showed that most of the students have prepared for the physical, mental, emotional, motivation and knowledge condition. More than half of the students did not answer choice answers on a special tool for caviar is caviar knife, preparing the coffee machine is done when the mise en place. Suggestions aimed at students to increase their knowledge about a specific tool for a specialty dish, and the mise en place tasks by seeking additional information on the book or other source

    UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR AKUNTANSI DENGAN MENERAPKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN APTITUDE TREATMENT INTERACTION (ATI)

    ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are to improve the learning achievement in Accounting through the application of the learning model of ATI of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program of a Senior Secondary School of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013. The research used the classroom action research. The subject of the research were the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of a Senior Secondary School of Surakarta as many as 29 students. The results of the research show that the application of the learning model of ATI can improve the learning achievement in Accounting of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of a Senior Secondary School of Surakarta. It is indicated by the improvement of the learning achievement. Firstly, the affective ability of the students improves significantly from 60.92% in Cycle I to 76.59% in Cycle II. Secondly, the psychomotor ability of the students improves from 72.41% in Cycle I to 86.90% in Cycle II. Thirdly, the cognitive ability of the students improves from 37.93% prior to the treatment, and it becomes 55.17% in Cycle I and 79.31% in Cycle II

    THE CORRELATION BETWEEN STUDENTS’ METACOGNITIVE KNOWLEDGE AND THEIR LISTENING COMPREHENSION AT VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TELKOM PEKANBARU

    This research was correlational research which was aimed to know whether there was a correlation between students’ metacognitive knowledge and their listening comprehension or not. Subject of the research was the students at eleventh grade of SMK Telkom Pekanbaru and the object was correlation between students’ metacognitive knowledge and their listening comprehension. Population of the research was 250 students and the sample of the research was 38 students which was taken by using simple random sampling technique. To know the correlation between both variable, the researcher used pearson product moment by using SPSS 23 version. The result of the research showed that there was a significant correlation between students’ metacognitive knowledge and their listening comprehension. It could be seen as follows: score of coefficient correlation was 0.619 > 0.320 on standard significant 5% and on standard significant 1% was 0.413. It indicated that Ha was accepted which showed there was a significant correlation between students’ metacognitive knowledge and their listening comprehension. Sig. value (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05, it indicated that there was a significant correlation between students’ metacognitive knowledge and their listening comprehension.     PENGARUH PERSEPSI SISWA TENTANG KARAKTERISTIK GURU MATEMATIKA DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SMP NEGERI I MONDOKAN TAHUN AJARAN 2006/2007

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh persepsisiswa tentang karakteristik guru matematika dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, (2) pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang karakteristik guru matematika terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, (3) pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N I Mondokan Kabupaten Sragen tahun ajaran 2006 / 2007 yang terdiri dari 6 kelas dengan jumlah 240 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 140 siswa diperoleh dari tabel krejcie dengan menggunakan teknik proposional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan multikolinearitas. Hasil penelitian pada taraf signifikan 5% menunjukan (1) terdapat pengaruh positif persepsi siswa tentang karakteristik guru matematika dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika,dengan Fhitung = 5,754 (2) terdapat pengaruh positif persepsi siswa tentang karakteristik guru terhadap prestasi belajar matematika dengan thitung = 2,509 (3) terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika dengan thitung = 2,215. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, persepsi siswa tentang karakteristik guru matematika dan motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar matematika

    STRATEGI TINDAK TUTUR ILOKUSI DAN TINGKAT KESANTUNAN DALAM NYANYIAN SUPORTER SEPAK BOLA DI INDONESIA (Kajian Pragmatik)

    Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi tindak tutur ilokusi dan tingkat kesantunan pada nyanyian suporter sepak bola di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya isu mengenai nyanyian suporter sepak bola di Indonesia yang sering dinilai sebagai nyanyian rasial dan tidak santun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deksripsi tindak tutur ilokusi, pematuhan atau pelanggaran pada prinsip kesantunan, serta tingkat kesantunan pada nyanyian suporter sepak bola di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah nyanyian suporter sepak bola di Indonesia, khususnya Aremania, Bobotoh Persib, Bonek Mania, dan Jakmania yang dibatasi pada kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir dan diambil melalui situs web www.Youtube.com. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode simak dan teknik catat. Kemudian menggunakan teknik populasi dan sampel untuk memilih data mana yang dibutuhkan dan yang tidak dibutuhkan. Sesuai rumusan masalah, peneliti menganalisis strategi tindak tutur ilokusi dan tingkat kesantunan pada nyanyian suporter sepak bola di Indonesia menggunakan prinsip-prinsip dan skala pragmatik yang dikemukakan oleh Leech. Dari 30 korpus yang telah ditemukan, terdapat 13 data tuturan yang tergolong santun dan kurang santun, serta 4 data korpus yang dinilai sebagai tuturan langsung. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, nyanyian-nyanyian suporter sepak bola di Indonesia termasuk ke dalam kategori yang santun. This study examines the illocutionary speech strategy and politeness level in the chants of football fans in Indonesia. This research is motivated by the many issues regarding the chants of football supporter in Indonesia which are often rated as racial and impolite songs. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of speech act of illocution, obedience or violation of the politeness principle, and the level of politeness in the chants of football fans in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method. Data of this study are the chants of football supporters in Indonesia, especially Aremania, Bobotoh Persib, Bonek Mania, and The Jakmania which were restricted in the past five years and were taken through the website www.youtube.com. The method used is the listening method and note technique. Then using population and sample techniques to choose which data is needed and not needed. In accordance with the formulation of the problem, the researcher analyzed the illocutionary speech act strategy and the level of politeness in the singing of supporters of football in Indonesia using the principles and scale pf pragmatics put forward by Leech. By the 30 corpus that have been found, there are 13 speech data that are classified as polite and not polite, and 4 corpus data which are assessed as direct speech. Based on the results of the analysis of football supporters in Indonesia and included in the polite category. Key words: Illocutionary acts, politeness principle, chants, and football fans

    CORRECTIVE FEEDBACK AND THE DEVELOPMENT IN WRITING A PARAGRAPH AT THE SECOND SEMESTER STUDENTS OF MUHAMMADIYAH KOTABUMI UNIVERSITY

    Corrective feedback is the most common ways of written feedback that usually used by lecturer to correct the mistakes of the students' writing and improve students' language accuracy in their writing tasks. Giving correction can be done by orally or written. It will inform about the errors of thestudents' writing especially a paragraph by Direct or Indirecrt corrective feedback. Furthermore, it also can encourage the students to improve their writing paragraph. The aims of the research are to investigate the types of corrective feedback that the lecturer provided in students' writing a paragraph, to investigate the students' development in writing a paragraph after receiving corrective feedback, and to investigate the dominant of corrective feedback that the lecturer provided in students' writing. This research employed qualitative research that examined 10 students in second semester of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi University. The instrument used was students' writing a paragraph. The result of this research showed that lecturer used both direct and indirect corrective feedbacks. It found that direct corrective feedback is more dominant than indirect corrective feedback. Moreover, it was also found that there were some improvements in their second written text after corrective feedback was given. In addition, giving some corrective feedbacks on students' writing paragraph could develop students' writing ability and motivate them revise and do better in their writing. Keywords: corrective feedback, direct and indirect, paragraph writin
