Obtención de una ortoimagen del yacimiento de los Yesares mediante equipos UAV.

El objetivo principal del presente proyecto es la obtención de una Ortoimagen del yacimiento arqueológico de la Guerra Civil Española de Los Yesares en Pinto, Madrid, para su estudio y valoración. El proyecto se realiza en colaboración con el equipo arqueológico cota 667, mediante los datos adquiridos por un dispositivo UAV proporcionado por la empresa Geotronics. Para alcanzar este objetivo principal se plantearon las siguientes tareas: -Creación del proyecto de vuelo. -Distribución en campo de las dianas para los puntos de apoyo y toma de coordenadas de estas mediante equipo GNSS. -Materialización del vuelo. Preparación del dispositivo de despegue, carga de los datos del vuelo en el UAV y lugar aterrizaje. -Procesado de las fotografías y datos obtenidos y obtención del producto final para proporcionar a los arqueólogos información cartográfica del yacimiento. Gracias a la rapidez y precisión de las nuevas herramientas de documentación geométrica tales como los equipos UAV o los equipos laser escáner, cada vez es más habitual su utilización en todo tipo de ámbitos, incluidos la documentación de elementos patrimoniales como es el caso de este proyecto. Por ello es esencial conocer estas nuevas herramientas, su correcta utilización y los diferentes flujos de trabajo para cada tipo de proyecto

The human body is carrier of social symbols where cultural notions concur, it is the body that relapses the limits of social institutions; it is in that socialization space that the notions of identity and corporality of every individual are inserted, although the expression to erotization takes a dissimilar direction, not only from gender, but also from positions regarding social class, race, power, religious repression, among other factors determining a eroticized or erotic body able to conceive itself in some cultures as a natural human manifestation or by other ones, as a taboo or a bond leading to maleficent forces. An End to a Means: How DNA-End Structure Shapes the Double-Strand Break Repair Process

Endogenously-arising DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) rarely harbor canonical 5'-phosphate, 3'-hydroxyl moieties at the ends, which are, regardless of the pathway used, ultimately required for their repair. Cells are therefore endowed with a wide variety of enzymes that can deal with these chemical and structural variations and guarantee the formation of ligatable termini. An important distinction is whether the ends are directly "unblocked" by specific enzymatic activities without affecting the integrity of the DNA molecule and its sequence, or whether they are "processed" by unspecific nucleases that remove nucleotides from the termini. DNA end structure and configuration, therefore, shape the repair process, its requirements, and, importantly, its final outcome. Has concentration evolved similarly in manufacturing and services? A sensitivity analysis.

Our first objective is to compare the degree of concentration in manufacturing and services, with special emphasis on its evolution in these two sectors, using a sensitivity analysis for different concentration indices and different geographic units of analysis: municipalities and local labour systems of Catalonia in 1991 and 2001. Most concentration measures fail to consider the space in which a particular municipality is located. Our second objective is to overcome this problem by applying two different techniques: by using a clustering measure, and by analysing whether the location quotients computed for each municipality and sector present some kind of spatial autocorrelation process. Concentration of the Economic Activity: Comparing Methodologies and Geographic Units

Despite the important role of the service sector in the economic activity, the majority of the studies, both at international and at the Spanish level, have focused their attention in determining the degree of concentration of the manufacture sector. The main purpose in this article is to analyze the concentration and the location pattern both of the manufacturing and the service sectors in Catalonia using different methodologies proposed in the economic literature, such as the Ellison&Glaeser index (1997) or the methodology used by O’Donoghue and Gleave (2004), among others. The calculation of the different indices using the municipalities of Catalonia as the geographic unit of the analysis allows us to make a comparison of the results between indices, and also to compare the location pattern and the degree of concentration of the manufacturing and service sectors. Moreover, the results that we obtain for Catalonia are compared with those obtained for other economies (United States, United Kingdom, France, Sweden, etc.). In a second step, we re-calculate these indices using as the geographic unit the local labour systems of Catalonia instead of the municipalities. The election of these two kind of geographic units is motivated thanks to the ongoing debate about what is the ideal geographic unit when analyzing the concentration of economic activity (Duranton and Overman (2006, forthcoming) and Marcon and Puech (2003), at the international level and Viladecans (2004), at the Spanish level). Using local labour systems will overcome the problem of working with geographic units based on administrative borders, like municipalities, that are not based in real economic areas. The calculation of these indices for the two kind of geographic units allows us to compare the results for the two areas. Once we have calculated these indices, we use the techniques of the Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis in order to study the geographic distribution of the concentration of the economic activity. Finally, in order to perform a more in-depth analysis of the relationships among different sectors, we use the Porter (2003) methodology to define clusters of activity.

Molecular phylogeny and systematics of Calathus Bonelli (Coleoptera: Carabidae: Sphodrini) based on mitochondrial cox1–cox2 sequences

The current subgeneric taxonomy of the genus Calathus is revised according to cox1–cox2 mitochondrial sequences of 44 species representing six subgenera. The subgenus Calathus s. str. was found to be monophyletic, but the subgenus Neocalathus is clearly polyphyletic and should be split into two or more subgenera. The monotypic subgenus Bedelinus appears in an isolated clade. The recent placement of C. rotundatus within the new subgenus Iberocalathus is supported by molecular data, what makes the subgenus Amphigynus to include only the type species C. rotundicollis. The species of the C. granatensis group are within the sister clade of the subgenus Calathus and should be included in a separate subgenus. Finally, the Canarian subgenera Lauricalathus and Trichocalathus are not well differentiated and do not seem to be monophyletic taxa, which suggests the need for a detailed revision
