Incidental gynaecological malignancy in women who underwent hysterectomy for utero-vaginal prolapse: a 3-year institutional case study

Background: Pelvic organ prolapse is common is almost 50% of women over the age of 50years. The objective of the present study was to estimate the number of incidental gynaecological malignancies in women who underwent hysterectomy for utero-vaginal prolapse.Methods: 354 women who presented with asymptomatic utero-vaginal prolapse were included in this study. Women who were symptomatic with bleeding per vaginum, lower abdominal pain or excessive white discharge and preoperative screening tests such as VIA/VILI, colposcopy, Pap smear and radio-imaging showing any gynaecological lesions were excluded from this study.Results: Histopathological examination of the hysterectomy specimen showed premalignant lesion in 13 cases accounting to 3.7% (11 cases of CIN I, 1 case of CIN II, 1 case of CIN III) and malignant lesions in 5cases accounting for 1.4% (4 cases of endometrial adenocarcinoma and 1 case of cervical squamous cell carcinoma).Conclusions: Asymptomatic women with utero-vaginal prolapse may have pre-existing premalignant and malignant lesions. Therefore, all women undergoing hysterectomy should be preoperatively screened with transvaginal ultrasound, endometrial biopsy and pap smear to rule out malignancy, as the management differs for patients with co-existing gynecological malignancies

Prevalência de anticorpos contra o vírus da língua azul em ovinos do Distrito Federal

The aims of the present study were to determine the prevalence of bluetongue virus antibodies in sheep from Distrito Federal. Sera from 606 sheep of 18 herds were submitted to the agar-gel immunodiffusion for bluetongue virus antibodies. The prevalences of bluetongue infection found in Distrito Federal were 100% (CI 95%: 84.67 to 100.00) for flocks and 52.37% (389/606) (CI 95%: 35.76 to 68.98) for animals. Thus, data from the present study showed that infection by bluetongue virus is highly widespread in sheep flocks in the Distrito Federal, which intensifies the need for assessments on the impact of this disease in Brazil. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ RESUMOO objetivo deste trabalho foi estimar a prevalência de anticorpos contra o vírus da língua azul (BTV) em rebanhos ovinos do Distrito Federal. Soros de 606 ovinos, pertencentes a 18 propriedades, foram analisados pela técnica de imunodifusão em ágar gel (AGID), para pesquisa de anticorpos contra o BTV. As prevalências de rebanhos e de animais infectados pelo vírus da língua azul no Distrito Federal foram respectivamente de 100% (IC 95%: 84,67% a 100%) e de 52,37% (389/606) (IC 95%: 35,76% a 68,98%). LAPORAN PRAKTIK PENGALAMAN LAPANGAN SMP N 4 WATES

Praktik pengalaman lapangan yang biasa disingkat PPL merupakan program yang dilaksanakan oleh UPPL UNY. Program ini ditujukan untuk mahasiswa UNY dalam penerapan pendidikan akademik yang diwujudkan dalam kegiatan langsung mahasiswa di lembaga pendidikan. Dengan diadakannya program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman kepada mahasiswa agar dapat meningkatkan kedewasaan dan profesionalitas mahasiswa untuk memperbaharui dan mewujudkan tatanan kehidupan bermasyarakat khususnya dalam dunia pendidikan. Program PPL ini dilaksanakan di kelas IX A sampai IX E, SMP N 4 Wates yang berlokasi di Jl Terbahsari 3, Wates, Kulon Progo, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Dengan adanya program ini mahasiswa dapat terlibat secara aktif dalam dunia pendidikan selama satu bulan yang dilaksanakan tanggal 10 Agustus 2015 hingga 12 September 2015. Selama pelaksanaan PPL ini mahasiswa juga diharapkan dapat melatih kemampuannya dalam hal kegiatan pembelajaran yang ada di lembaga sekolah, Sebelum kegiatan PPL berlangsung mahasiswa melaksanakan kegiatan praPPL yaitu pembelajaran micro teaching guna mempersiapkan praktik mengajar, dan melakukan observasi sebagai bekal guna melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 4 Wates. Setelah melalui kegiatan observasi, mahasiswa dapat merumuskan berbagai program kerja yang akan dilaksanakan. Program PPL yang direncanakan oleh mahasiswa antara lain; (1) Pembuatan RPP (2) Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran (3) Praktik mengajar; dan (4) Evalusi Pembelajaran. Serangkaian program kerja PPL SMP Negeri 4 Wates telah terlaksana dengan baik, walaupun terdapat beberapa hambatan dalam pelaksanaannya, seperti kurangnya pengetahuan dalam pembuatan Perangkat Pembelajaran yang dapat diatasi dengan berkonsultasi dengan Guru Pembimbing. Selain itu program mengajar di kelas memiliki tantangan juga dengan penyesuaian karakter peserta didik yang berbeda-beda, bagaimana cara menghidupkan suasana kelas agar peserta didik termotivasi untuk belajar. PPL di SMP N 4 Wates juga membantu proses persiapan berbagai kegiatan yang telah direncanakan pihak sekolah. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari pelaksanaan PPL di SMP N 4 Wates ini yaitu mampu memahami pada proses pengajaran diperlukan strategi mengajar bahkan pada beberapa kelas mempunyai perlakuan yang berbeda, dalam hal ini kreativitas guru sangatlah dibutuhkan untuk menunjang pembelajaran di dalam kelas dan juga untuk mengkondisikan kelas agar kegiatan pembelajaran dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien

ANALISIS RENCANA PELAKSANAAN PEMBELARAN TEMATIK SECARA DARING SELAMA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract This study aims to describe the preparation of an online thematic learning implementation plan by teacher of elementary school 15 South Pontianak during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study use the descriptive qualitative research methods. The data source of this research is the fifth grade teacher of elementary school 15 South Pontianak and the data is the online thematic learning implementation plan document 1 st to 3rd learning meetings. The results of the analysis show the components of the learning implementation plan made by the teacher are guided by the Circular of the Ministry of Education and Culture Number 14 of 2019 Contain the core components, namely learning objectives, learning activities and evaluations. There are 14 learning objectives that meet the criteria according to basic competencies but are still not in accordance with the A.B.C.D method. Learning activities only in learning 1 and 2 meet the criteria in accordance with the learning objectives while in learning 3 there are 12 steps of activity that do not meet the criteria according to the knowledge and skills aspects, while the psychomotor aspect has not met the appropriate criteria. The energy of multi-valued neutrosophic matrix and neutrosophic hesitant matrix and relationship between them in multi-criteria decision-making

The concept of energy in graphs and matrices is frequently used in all application fields. The energy of a matrix is an extended version of the energy of a graph. The neutrosophic matrix energy concept needs to be more noticeable in multi-criteria decision-making environments. This study presents the concept of the energy of a multi-valued neutrosophic matrix. The upper and lower bounds of the proposed energy were determined. The connection between the neutrosophic hesitant matrix and the multi-valued neutrosophic matrix is provided. Since the parameters of the two matrices differ in truth, indeterminacy, and false entries, the matrix is converted into a single-valued form, and then the energy was calculated. The MCDM problem was addressed with the proposed energy, which is solved by a novel decision-making method. The task is to select a machine from a group of repaired machines in a particular industry that is in good condition. The final ranking values are calculated by the ranking energy formula that decides which is preferred. Then the comparative results were given to demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed energy outcomes

Historically, this problem has been closely tied to the problematic opposition between notions of original and copy. In this study the assumptions behind this binary opposition and the existence of a reality that is accessible other than by its own representations are deconstructed. The notion of simulacrum is introduced to counter the original/copy argument in relation to the contemporary culture of consumerism. Within this theoretical framework the Topkapi Palace Hotel in Antalya is taken as a case study. Representations of Topkapi Palace preceding the hotel are analyzed including Ottoman miniatures, Orientalist paintings/gravures and the Topkapi Palace Museum. The Potential Use of Shared Mobility Programs by Urban Texans

Shared mobility modes, including car-sharing, bike-sharing and dynamic ride-sharing, are beginning to restructure the traditional modes of transportation. These modes have the potential to change an individual’s relationship with their private vehicle. This research analyzes key aspects of shared mobility programs, user demographic factors influencing the use of these modes, and how they impact the travel behavior of individuals. A survey was conducted in Texas to understand the opinion of Texas travelers with respect to dynamic ride-sharing, bike-sharing and car-sharing. The survey results showed that Texas travelers are supportive of shared mobility options and these modes are likely to impact future travel in Texas. It was observed that factors, including easy reservations as well as cost and time savings encourage the use of dynamic ride-sharing and car-sharing, whereas bike-sharing is preferred for exercise and leisure. Shared mobility options are often chosen as first and last mile options. However, accessibility of docking stations needs to be improved further to increase the use of shared modes

Anak jalanan, gelandangan, dan pengemis adalah hasil dari jumlah kenaikan penduduk yang tidak diimbangi dengan banyaknya jumlah angkatan kerja dan pendapatan yang diperoleh untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. Pasal 9 Peraturan Daerah Kota Kediri Nomor 4 Tahun 2013 Tentang Pembinaan Anak Jalanan, Gelandangan, dan Pengemis telah mengatur tentang penanggulangan anak jalanan, gelandangan, dan pengemis di Kota Kediri.
