    TEACHER’S STRATEGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

    This observational study, which focuses on strategies used by teachers when teaching English as a Foreign Language to primary school students, was conducted in two classes at Al Azhar Syifa Budi Parahyangan International Islamic School. This study attempted to address the following question: what instructional strategies are used by the English teachers at Al Azhar Syifa Budi Parahyangan? The data, which were collected by using a classroom observation and interview with the teachers and their students, were analyzed qualitatively by using categories formulated based on theories related to instructional strategies include planning and preparing the instruction, implementing the teaching and learning process, and assessing the students’ achievement. The major findings of this study include 1) although the teachers do the same stages in planning but the plan is implemented and resulted in different ways; 2) the teachers are able to use games as a tool for learning; 3) although curriculum requires teachers to integrate the skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking), in actual implementation, the teachers do not teach English in integrative ways; 4) time management in this school has become a problematic factor for the teachers; 5) with respect to teacher’s strategies in assessing students’ achievement, the teachers do assessment by way of remedial teaching once a week after the class is over in part where the students failed to understand

    Students' Perception of English Learning Difficulties and Strategies

    English is considered as important in this era, especially towards the implementation of the ASEAN free market known as the ASEAN Economic Community by the end of 2015, which means that competition in the job market will increase. Many universities open their international class to facilitate the need of prospective students (senior high school graduates). In fact, there are still problems facing by the students in learning English as a tool to understand other courses. Therefore, the research is aimed to know students’ perception of the difficulties they encounter in learning English as a foreign language, also the reasons underlying these difficulties, and strategies they use in accomplishing their linguistic tasks. This study used two questionnaires that are distributed to 45 new students of International ICT Business class, Telkom University Bandung Indonesia. The results showed that the 98% of respondents said that they have problem in English especially grammar. It was due to their lack of knowledge of the English linguistic rules, and they made use of various strategies; social and affective strategies mainly.&nbsp

    The COVID-19 pandemic that is overtaking the world, particularly Indonesia has undoubtedly changed business scenarios and conditions, requiring practical and strategic approaches to bring enterprises back from the verge of disaster. In order to overcome a pandemic situation like this, a leader with an autocratic leadership style is required, as well as an organizational change to make the company survive and adapt to existing changes in order to maintain the company's survival so that employee performance remains good and optimal. The goal of this research was to see if there was a relationship between autocratic leadership style and organizational transformation and the performance of “PT ABC” workers during the pandemic. The sample technique is non-probability sampling and uses 100 respondents from “PT ABC” employees. The results of this research show that the autocratic leadership style and organizational change have a posittive and significant effect on employee performance during the pandemic at “PT ABC” company

    Optimization of Employee Productivity in the Production Section at PT. X: The Role of Educational Level and Physical Work Environment

    Objectives – This study aims to determine the effect of education level and physical work environment on the work productivity of production employees at PT. X. Design/Methodology/Approach – In this study, the authors used a quantitative method. The number of employees in this study were 111 production employees at PT. X. Analysis testing using SPSS Version 26. Findings – The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the level of education and the physical work environment on employee work productivity. Conclusions and Implications - The level of education and physical work environment have a positive effect on employee work productivity, thereby increasing the work productivity of employees PT. X needs to consider higher levels of employee education as well as improving the company\u27s physical work environment.

    Influence of Talent Management and Core Values on Employee Performance in State-Owned Enterprises in Bandung

    Objective: The objective of this study was to examine the impact of talent management and company core values on employee work performance. Finding the relationship between all crucial components, this research is vital for the development of science, particularly in the domain of human capital and talent development. Research Design  &  Methods: Using a quantitative research method, the study collected data from a minimum sample of 100 employees of State-Owned Enterprises in Bandung. PLS-SEM analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 3.2.9 software to test the research hypotheses. Findings: The results revealed that talent management had no significant effect on employee work performance, while company core values had a positive and significant impact on this variable. It was also found that both talent management and company core values demonstrated simultaneous influences on employee work performance. Implications & Recommendations: This study has important implications for companies seeking to enhance the work performance of their employees. Specifically, the findings suggest that strengthening both company management talent and core values may be necessary to achieve this goal. Contribution & Value Added: In terms of contribution and value added, this research offers an overview of the challenges associated with poor talent management and company core values, and their potential impact on job performance. By providing insight into these issues, the study offers valuable guidance to organizations seeking to improve the performance of their employees

    Since the 21st century, the use of data makes it possible to assist in making decision and business strategies. Human Resource Information System (HRIS) is an excellent example of utilizing savings in administrative costs and also taking strategies that can benefit companies or organizations by gathering information, processing and sharing. The purpose of this research was to understand the influence of HRIS effectiveness on employees’ performance at Brankas. The method used in this research was a quantitative method with data collection technique through the distribution of questionnaires. The type of analysis used is descriptive and causal with the data analysis used descriptive analysis, simple linear regression, determination coefficient, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study showed that HRIS has significant influence on employees’ performance at Brankas. The results of this study should be used as input for Brankas through developing and improving the system of HRIS to help the company more efficient in terms of time management by the time set up

Basednon the processing results, itnis knownnthat employee competence, work discipline and work motivation partially and simultaneously affect employee performance. Thencoefficient ofndetermination isnknown thatncompetence, work discipline and work motivation have an effect of 64.7% on the performance of PDAM Indramayu Regency employees, while the remaining 35.3% are influenced by other variables not included in this study such as compensation, work environment, etc. other.
