    Patrimonio cultural inmaterial: investigar las Misiones Jesuítico-Guaraníes brasileñas a través de la etnometodología

    Este trabajo destaca la etnometodología como perspectiva de investigación del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la región de las Misiones y las posibilidades de preservación, promoción y patrimonialización de la misma, considerando que las discusiones sobre los bienes intangibles, es decir, las expresiones del patrimonio cultural inmaterial constituyen un tema relevante a estudiar y debatir, ya que constituye una forma de ser cultural, económico y social de los pueblos que habitan esta región. Así, el estudio busca entender la experiencia de comunicación en torno a los "caminos" turísticos o de peregrinación, con el fin de analizar si el llamado “Caminho das Missões" puede convertirse o no en un Patrimonio Inmaterial basado en la misión y cómo la comunicación participa en este proceso. Debido a la naturaleza del objeto de estudio, siendo el “Caminho das Missões" una ruta turística, optamos por la etnometodología (Coulon, 1995; Corbetta, 2007) como enfoque teórico-metodológico. A partir de esto, la investigación exploratoria (Godoy, 1995) también se utilizó para recopilar datos sobre el Camino, a través del sitio web del Operador Turístico que propone y explota esta ruta. Además, se utilizaron investigaciones bibliográficas (Marconi; Lakatos, 2003), o fuentes secundarias, así como la investigación de campo y la observación de participantes en el camino misionero. El empleo de da etnometodología para el estudio de los procesos comunicacionales involucrados en la patrimonialización del “Caminho das Missões”, a partir de criterios preestablecidos y con el registro en diario de campo (Brazão, 2007)., han posibilitado diversas observaciones. Fue posible presenciar algunos puntos como la objetificación de los indios guaraníes que a menudo son tratados por los visitantes como "adyuvantes" en este escenario misionero. También es considerable señalar que en la actualidad solamente un Operador Turístico comercializa el paquete turístico en un espacio público que es la ruta de las Misiones brasileñas.     Cosmological constraints from low redshift 21 cm intensity mapping with machine learning

    The future 21 cm intensity mapping observations constitute a promising way to trace the matter distribution of the Universe and probe cosmology. Here we assess its capability for cosmological constraints using as a case study the BINGO radio telescope, that will survey the Universe at low redshifts (0.13<z<0.450.13 < z < 0.45). We use neural networks (NNs) to map summary statistics, namely, the angular power spectrum (APS) and the Minkowski functionals (MFs), calculated from simulations into cosmological parameters. Our simulations span a wide grid of cosmologies, sampled under the Λ\LambdaCDM scenario, {Ωc,h\Omega_c, h}, and under an extension assuming the Chevallier-Polarski-Linder (CPL) parameterization, {Ωc,h,w0,wa\Omega_c, h, w_0, w_a}. In general, NNs trained over APS outperform those using MFs, while their combination provides 27% (5%) tighter error ellipse in the Ωch\Omega_c-h plane under the Λ\LambdaCDM scenario (CPL parameterization) compared to the individual use of the APS. Their combination allows predicting Ωc\Omega_c and hh with 4.9% and 1.6% fractional errors, respectively, which increases to 6.4% and 3.7% under CPL parameterization. Although we find large bias on waw_a estimates, we still predict w0w_0 with 24.3% error. We also confirm our results to be robust to foreground contamination, besides finding the instrumental noise to cause the greater impact on the predictions. Still, our results illustrate the capability of future low redshift 21 cm observations in providing competitive cosmological constraints using NNs, showing the ease of combining different summary statistics.Comment: 17 pages, 13 figure

    Psychometric properties of the Brazilian version of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Addendum for PTSD (PSQI-A)

    Objective: Sleep disturbances play a fundamental role in the pathophysiology posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and are not only a secondary feature. The aim of this study was to validate and assess the psychometric properties of the Brazilian version of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Addendum for PTSD (PSQI-A-BR), a self-report instrument designed to assess the frequency of seven disruptive nocturnal behaviors, in a sample of participants with and without PTSD. Methods: PSQI-A was translated into Brazilian Portuguese and applied to a convenience sample of 190 volunteers, with and without PTSD, who had sought treatment for the consequences of a traumatic event. Results: The PSQI-A-BR displayed satisfactory internal consistency (Cronbach's coefficient of 0.83 between all items) and convergent validity with the Clinician Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS), even when excluding sleep-related items (r = 0.52). Test-retest yielded high agreement in the global PSQI-A-BR, with good stability over time (r = 0.88). A global PSQI-A-BR cutoff score of 7 yielded a sensitivity of 79%, specificity of 64%, and a global score of 7 yielded a positive predictive value of 93% for discriminating participants with PTSD from those without PTSD.     Este artículo presenta la Tarea sobre Análisis de Sentimientos basado en Aspectos en Portugués (ABSAPT), realizada en el IberLEF 2022. Les pedimos a los participantes que desarrollaran sistemas capaces de identificar aspectos (AE) y extraer la polaridad (ASC) en textos escritos en portugués. Doce equipos se inscribieron en la tarea, entre los cuales cinco presentaron predicciones e informes técnicos. El sistema con mejor rendimiento logró un valor de precisión (Acc) de 0,67 para la subtarea de AE (Equipo Deep Learning Brasil) y un valor de precisión equilibrada (Bacc) de 0,82 para la subtarea de ASC (Equipo Deep Learning Brasil).This paper presents the task on Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis in Portuguese (ABSAPT), held within Iberian Languages Evaluation Forum (IberLEF 2022). We asked the participants to develop systems capable of extracting aspects (AE) and classifying sentiment of aspects (ASC) in texts. We created one corpora containing reviews about hotels. Twelve teams registered to the task, among which five submitted predictions and technical reports. The best performing system achieved an Accuracy (Acc) value of 0.67 in AE sub-task (Team Deep Learning Brasil) and a Balanced Accuracy (Bacc) value of 0.82 in ASC sub-task (Team Deep Learning Brasil).This work was financed in part by the following Brazilian research agencies: CAPES and CNPq

    Schizophrenia and work: aspects related to job acquisition in a follow-up study

    Objective: Work is considered one of the main forms of social organizationhowever, few individuals with schizophrenia find work opportunities. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between schizophrenia symptoms and job acquisition. Method: Fifty-three individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia from an outpatient treatment facility were included in an 18-month follow-up study. After enrollment, they participated in a prevocational training group. At the end of training (baseline) and 18 months later, sociodemographic, clinical data and occupational history were collected. Positive and negative symptoms (Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale - PANSS), depression (Calgary Depression Scale), disease severity (Clinical Global Impression - CGI), functionality (Global Assessment of Functioning - GAF), personal and social performance (Personal and Social Performance - PSP) and cognitive functions (Measurement and Treatment Research to Improve Cognition in Schizophrenia - MATRICS battery) were applied at baseline and at the end of the study. Results: Those with some previous work experience (n = 19) presented lower scores on the PANSS, Calgary, GAF, CGI and PSP scales (p < 0.05) than those who did not work. Among those who worked, there was a slight worsening in positive symptoms (positive PANSS). Conclusions: Individuals with less severe symptoms were more able to find employment.     The BINGO Project IX: Search for Fast Radio Bursts -- A Forecast for the BINGO Interferometry System

    The Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) from Integrated Neutral Gas Observations (BINGO) radio telescope will use the neutral Hydrogen emission line to map the Universe in the redshift range 0.127z0.4490.127 \le z \le 0.449, with the main goal of probing BAO. In addition, the instrument optical design and hardware configuration support the search for Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs). In this work, we propose the use of a BINGO Interferometry System (BIS) including new auxiliary, smaller, radio telescopes (hereafter \emph{outriggers}). The interferometric approach makes it possible to pinpoint the FRB sources in the sky. We present here the results of several BIS configurations combining BINGO horns with and without mirrors (44 m, 55 m, and 66 m) and 5, 7, 9, or 10 for single horns. We developed a new {\tt Python} package, the {\tt FRBlip}, which generates synthetic FRB mock catalogs and computes, based on a telescope model, the observed signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) that we used to compute numerically the detection rates of the telescopes and how many interferometry pairs of telescopes (\emph{baselines}) can observe an FRB. FRBs observed by more than one baseline are the ones whose location can be determined. We thus evaluate the performance of BIS regarding FRB localization. We found that BIS will be able to localize 23 FRBs yearly with single horn outriggers in the best configuration (using 10 outriggers of 6 m mirrors), with redshift z0.96z \leq 0.96; the full localization capability depends on the number and the type of the outriggers. Wider beams are best to pinpoint FRB sources because potential candidates will be observed by more baselines, while narrow beams look deep in redshift. The BIS can be a powerful extension of the regular BINGO telescope, dedicated to observe hundreds of FRBs during Phase 1.     Evidence for Color Dichotomy in the Primordial Neptunian Trojan Population

    In the current model of early Solar System evolution, the stable members of the Jovian and Neptunian Trojan populations were captured into resonance from the leftover reservoir of planetesimals during the outward migration of the giant planets. As a result, both Jovian and Neptunian Trojans share a common origin with the primordial disk population, whose other surviving members constitute today's trans-Neptunian object (TNO) populations. The cold classical TNOs are ultra-red, while the dynamically excited "hot" population of TNOs contains a mixture of ultra-red and blue objects. In contrast, Jovian and Neptunian Trojans are observed to be blue. While the absence of ultra-red Jovian Trojans can be readily explained by the sublimation of volatile material from their surfaces due to the high flux of solar radiation at 5AU, the lack of ultra-red Neptunian Trojans presents both a puzzle and a challenge to formation models. In this work we report the discovery by the Dark Energy Survey (DES) of two new dynamically stable L4 Neptunian Trojans,2013 VX30 and 2014 UU240, both with inclinations i >30 degrees, making them the highest-inclination known stable Neptunian Trojans. We have measured the colors of these and three other dynamically stable Neptunian Trojans previously observed by DES, and find that 2013 VX30 is ultra-red, the first such Neptunian Trojan in its class. As such, 2013 VX30 may be a "missing link" between the Trojan and TNO populations. Using a simulation of the DES TNO detection efficiency, we find that there are 162 +/- 73 Trojans with Hr < 10 at the L4 Lagrange point of Neptune. Moreover, the blue-to-red Neptunian Trojan population ratio should be higher than 17:1. Based on this result, we discuss the possible origin of the ultra-red Neptunian Trojan population and its implications for the formation history of Neptunian Trojans
