Changes in the environment experienced by organizations require organizations to make adjustments to answer all future challenges. The strength that must be possessed by the organization is to realize the concrete concept that becomes a tool to make changes. One of them is knowledge management, because knowledge management is an organizational activity that manages knowledge as an asset, wherein various strategies there is the right distribution of knowledge to the right people in a fast time until they interact with each other from various knowledge and apply it in daily work for performance improvement. Knowledge Management integration in the decision-making process can be interpreted as a structured and systematic process in acquiring, distributing, and utilizing knowledge to support the decision-making process. The position of knowledge management in decision making is between two poles of knowledge, namely tacit knowledge on the one hand and the utilization of explicit knowledge in decision making on the other. Explicit knowledge emphasizes the implicit role of knowledge management in influencing actors involved in decision making. Research design using quantitative methods. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of Knowledge management has a positive effect on decision making in the Regional Development Agency of Takalar regency

Physico-Chemical and Bacteriological Qualities of Raw Milk from Collection Centers and Hawking Activity in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra Region (Morocco)

The study aims to analyze the two circuits of the dairy chain: authorized and unauthorized, by studying the parameters influencing the physico-chemical and bacteriological quality of milk in both networks. Samples of raw milk (n=22), collected from nine collection centers (CCL): four authorized and five unauthorized in the region of Kenitra, and four hawking points in the region of Rabat, during a period between March and May 2022, were analyzed to evaluate their physicochemical and bacteriological qualities. The physicochemical quality of the milk included the measurement of chlorides, lactose and fat content, and the determination of titratable acidity and freezing point. The bacteriological quality was assessed by counting the total aerobic mesophilic flora (TAMF), total and fecal coliforms, presumed pathogenic staphylococci and searching for Salmonella. The fat content varies considerably depending on where the milk samples are collected; the average is 4.13% for licensed collection centers, versus 2.94% for unlicensed collection centers and 2.82% for hawking activity.  In terms of hygienic quality, the average bacterial load of TAMF in milk from the authorized collection centers is 3.8×108 CFU/ml. Total coliforms (TC) are present with an average rate of 9.37 ×105 CFU/ml with an average portion of 7.87 ×103 CFU/ml in fecal coliforms (FC), and 1.03 ×106 CFU/ml for presumed pathogenic staphylococci. On the other hand, milk samples from unauthorized collection centers and hawking activity showed higher levels of microbial contamination than those from licensed collection centers. Salmonella was not detected in any of the samples analyzed. The non-compliance with hygiene practices and the late application of cold during the milking, the collection, and the transportation of raw milk, partly explain the origin of this finding

Strict Liability as an Expansion of the Meaning of Criminal Acts in Environmental Crimes

    Get PDF
The problems in overcoming criminal acts in the environmental sector not only need practice but also need development and improvement in theoretical studies, so that the purpose of the laws and regulations formed reaches their goals. One of the interesting discussions to be reviewed in depth is the applicability of the concept of strict liability or absolute responsibility in enforcing criminal law in the environmental sector, as regulated in Article 88 of Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning environmental protection and management. Strict liability in general is to put criminal liability to the perpetrator of a criminal act without the necessity of guilt. In other words, errors with the concept of strict liability can be ruled out. Eliminating wrongdoing does not mean eliminating evidence for criminal acts that have indeed been committed. The conduct of a criminal act is the basis on which a person can be held criminally liable (determining the presence or absence of a mistake). However, in the concept of strict liability, this does not apply on the contrary, a person who has committed a criminal act has also been fulfilled with the element of guilt, so it does not need to be proven or ruled out. The criminal act becomes completed, and the element of guilt is evidenced by the loss arising as a result of the criminal act committed. The present work was undertaken to evaluate the actual status of hygiene in an industrial scale poultry slaughter house, using bacterial analyses of broiler carcasses obtained just after slaughter handling. A total of 32 carcasses were swabbed, during a period of two mounths, using the technique of double swabbing (cm2) in three sites: the neck, cloaca and sternal regions. Bacteriological analyses involved counting of total microflora, psycrotrophic microflora and fecal indicators microorganisms. Qualitative screening for the pathogens Salmonella and Yersinia enterocolitica was also addressed. The mean bacterial loads of all microflora studied were similar or lower than those found in poultry carcasses prepared intraditional slaughterhouses. Also, the present work showed significant variation in bacterial load between the three sites swabbed from the same carcass. Overall, the neck was found to be the most contaminated site, followed by the cloaca and sternal regions. In contrast, no Salmonella or Yersinia enterocolitica was isolated from the carcasses analyzed.

It has been known for many traditional practices worldwide such as to rigidify bones and tone up blood circulation. The aim of this review is to summarize and discuss the association between phytochemical and pharmacological reports of C. caudatus and their traditional uses via ethnopharmacological approaches. Cosmos caudatus is a traditional medicinal plant used widely for culinary and therapeutic purposes. Phytochemical studies indicated the presence of Phenolic acids, flavonoids, tannins, sesquiterpene lactones, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins in leaves while phenylpropanoids were in roots. Pharmacological data have been compiled for diverse activities for fresh leaves and extracts such as antihypertensive, antihyperlipidemic, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, antioxidant and antiosteoporotic. These activities experimented by in vitro and in vivo studies. Multiple C. caudatus constituents propose many potential actions in different fields such as neuroprotection, antidepression, and gastroprotection
