PENGARUH GAYA MENGAJAR GUIDED DISCOVERY DAN INTELIGENSI TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN BERMAIN BOLA VOLI SISWA DI SEKOLAH

The research entitle “ The influence of guided discovery style and intelligence to the student’s understanding about playing volley ball at school ” is all about the experiment which has been applied to the students of SDN Bendungan 1, which laid at Sumedang district, West Java Province. It has been done since October 2013 until December 2013. Guided Discovery style consist of two methods : Convergent and Divergent Discovery style. The writer then applied those experiments to two groups of SDN Bendungan 1 students to know whether there are difference on using them to the two groups with difference intelligence. Based on the statement above, this research is aimed to know : (1) The difference of student’s understanding about playing volley ball between using convergent and divergent discovery style at SDN Bendungan 1 Sumedang. (2) Interaction between guided discovery style and student’s intelligence to students’s understanding about playing volley ball at SDN bendungan 1 Sumedang. (3) The difference of student’s understanding about playing volley ball between convergent and divergent discovery style who has high intelligence at SDN Bendungan 1 Sumedang. (4) The difference of student’s understanding about playing volleyball between convergent and divergent discovery style who has low intelligence at SDN Bendungan 1 Sumedang. The writer using experiment methods with factorial design 2 x 2 pre-post test. From calculated result has been known there is the difference which is significant enough between two methods, shown by statistical result of pre and post test of the two groups who had difference treatments.;---Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh “Gaya Mengajar Guide Discovery dan Intelegensi terhadap Pemahaman Bermain Bola Voli Siswa di Sekolah”, merupakan Studi Eksperiman pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Bendungan 1 Kecamatan Sumedang Utara Kabupaten Sumedang yang dilakukan sejak bulan Oktober 2013 sampai dengan Desember 2013. Gaya belajar bimbingan guru (Guided Discovery) terdiri dari dua bentuk metode yaitu Convergen Discovery dan Divergen Discovery. Seperti diketahui, berdasarkan teori, ada yang berbeda dalam pelaksanaan penggunaan metode tersebut. Penulis kemudian melakukan penelitian eksperimen terhadap dua kelompok siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Bendungan I Sumedang untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan penggunaan kedua metode tersebut terhadap dua kelompok siswa dengan tingkat kecerdasan yang berbeda. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman bermain bola voli antara gaya mengajar Convergent Discovery dengan Divergent Discovery di SD Negeri Bendungan 1 Sumedang. (2) Mengetahui interaksi antara gaya mengajar guided discovery dengan Inteligensi (IQ) siswa dalam pemahaman bermain bola voli siswa di SD Negeri Bendungan 1 Sumedang. (3) Mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman bermain bola voli antara gaya mengajar Convergent Discovery dan Gaya Divergent Discovery bagi siswa yang memiliki Inteligensi tinggi di SD Negeri Bendungan 1 Sumedang, serta (3) Mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman bermain bola voli antara gaya mengajar Convergent Discovery dan Gaya Divergent Discovery bagi siswa yang memiliki Inteligensi rendah di SD Negeri Bendungan 1 Sumedang. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2 pre-post test. Hasilnya diketahui bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara kedua metode tersebut yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil analisis statistik terhadap nilai pre-post test kedua kelompok yang mendapat perlakukan berbeda

Violated Maxim in the Amazing Spider-man 2 Movie

This study is concerned with an analysis of Grice's Cooperative Principles whichare constituted in a conversation. This research was conducted by usingqualitative method. The analysis particularly discusses the violation of maxim inthe utterances, which are described in four types. They are the maxim of quantitymaxim of quality, maxim of relation and maxim of manner. The data of this studyare the utterances of the main character in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie. Theutterances which contain violated maxim are identified and analyzed. Thefindings show that there are 51 utterances violation of maxim in The AmazingSpider-Man 2 movie. Those are 20 utterances (39.2%) violation of maxim relationand it can be concluded as the dominat type violated, 16 (31.5%) for maxim ofquantity as the second largest number violated and 8 (15.6%) for the maxim ofquality. The last, those are 7 utterances (13.7%) violated maxim of manner. Itshows that the maxim of manner is the lowest number. Based on the analysis,there are the reasons as the main backgrounds which prompt the main characternamed Peter Parker to violate the maxims. The reason are to keep the secret andchange the topic

A MODEL OF AN ONLINE READING COMPREHENSION SUMMATIVE TEST FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

ABSTRACT There is an emerging phenomenon in some universities including STKIP PGRI Jombang regarding a compelling need of a test that can replace the existing paper-and-pencil based reading comprehension test, which is conventional, impractical, and time consuming. To fulfill the need, a model of an online reading comprehension summative test was developed, involving a number of essential micro skills of reading. The design of the study was Educational Research and Development (R&D), involving 100 subjects in the try-out stage. The instruments used were interview guides and questionnaire. Based on the tryout analysis, the reliability was .779, in which thirty one items were categorized as valid items. For the ease of scoring and the balanced number of the indicators under interest, only 25 items were included in the model test. Based on the students’ questionnaire, more than 80% subjects responded positively. The final product of this research was a set of an online reading comprehension test kit that includes the blueprint, the test (in form of paper and screenshot of the online version), the answer key, and the instruction to access the online test.  ABSTRAK Di beberapa universitas termasuk STKIP PGRI Jombang, muncul kebutuhan penting sebuah tes yang bisa menggantikan tes membaca berbasis paper-and-pencil sebelumnya yang konvensional, tidak praktis dan memakan banyak waktu. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tes yang bisa mengatasi masalah tersebut, dikembangkanlah sebuah model tes membaca sumatif online. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yang melibatkan 100 subjek dalam tahap try-out. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah interview guide dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan analisis butir soal, nilai alpha atau reliabilititas adalah 0.779. 31 butir soal dikategorikan sebagai butir soal yang valid. Untuk kemudahan penilaian dan keseimbangan jumlah indikator yang diinginkan, hanya 25 butir soal yang digunakan dalam model tes. Berdasarkan kuesioner mahasiswa, lebih dari 80% subjek merespon secara positif. Produk akhir dari penelitian ini adalah satu set online reading comprehension test yang meliputi kisi-kisi, tes (dalam bentuk kertas dan screenshot versi online), kunci jawaban dan instruksi untuk mengakses tes online.   How to Cite: Sofa., Sulistyo, G.H. FENOMENA SPIRITUALITAS TERAPAN DAN TANTANGAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI ERA GLOBAL

Fenomena spiritualitas terapan seperti aliran pranana, energy spiritual nusantara, hypno, psichotronika, transfer energy dll sebagai fenomena pola spiritualitas yang mampu mengisi sebagian ruang kegelisahan  orang-orang modern. Berbeloknya manusia modern yang mulai lelah dengan hanya mengandalkan pola berfikir materialis positifis menuju spiritualitas sebagai keseimbangan fithri manusia ternyata tidak serta merta mereka membutuhkan agama yang di dalamnya berisi ke imanan terhadap Allah SWT, Tuhan semesta alam. Namun ternyata spiritualitas terdiri dari banyak ragamnya. Setidaknya ada tiga pola dasar spiritualitas yaitu spiritualitas yang berdasar psikologi/diri manusia, alam dan agama. Dua macam spiritualitas yang pertama hakikatnya sama dengan ilmu-ilmu sain yang mendasarkan pada keyakinan bahwa pusat energi adalah manusia dan alam (anthropo centre dan natural centre) yang juga akan sampai pada titik kehampaan dan keterbatasan manusia dan alam dan berbuah kegelisahan dan keputusasaan. Spiritualitas agama seharusnya bisa tampil ke permukaan, disampaikan dengan metode dan strategi pendidikan agama khususnya Islam yang mudah dipahami dan di aktualisasikan sesuai dengan globalisasi sehingga bisa menjadi solusi bagi kegersangan manusia modern akan hakikat hidup yang serba kompleks, cepat dan majemuk. Spiritualitas agama Islam dengan demikian bisa diharapkan menjadi fondasi baru peradaban mendatang

PENERAPAN LATIHAN SOSIALISASI BERTAHAP PADA PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA UNDIFFERENTIATED DENGAN ISOLASI SOSIAL DI UPT BINA LARAS PASURUAN

Background : In this Final Scientific Work, we take a case of social isolation (withdrawal) due to poor self-knowledge (insight), the lient feels that he does not experience the mental illness he is currently uffering from, the client knows that he is often alone and does not like socializing so It is difficult for clients to be given education such as building trusting relationships, teaching patients to get to know other people. Clients also experience thought process disorders which make it difficult for clients to accelerate. What needs to be done here is to provide nursing actions such as building a relationship of mutual trust, helping the client understand the causes of social isolation, providing the client with an understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of not having contact with other people, and teaching the client to get to know each other in stages. So that clients receive the implementation of gradual socialization and the Social Isolation Nursing Action Implementation Strategy (SPTK). This Final Scientific Work aims to implement gradual socialization training for Mrs. M. Method : The research method used in this research is using a case study. The author follows the scientific method according to the rules of the nursing process, which consists of assessment, data analysis, nursing intervention, implementation and evaluation. The author used various data collection techniques such as anamnesis, observation, documentation studies and physical examination to collect various data from Mrs. To complete the data, the author also conducted interviews with patients and carried out regular monitoring using the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standard (SDKI) instrument. Results : After providing nursing care for 7 days to Mrs. M with social isolation with gradual socialization obtained Mrs. M had prominent negative symptoms such as poor nonverbal communication such as in facial expressions, eye contact, voice modulation, self-grooming and poor social performance. Discussion : The problem of social isolation nursing in changes in the mental status of clients receiving antipsychotic drugs, namely Trifluoperazine and Chlorpromazine which are given in the morning which have the side effect of being sleepy in the morning, one of the effects of which is that the client often sleeps and does not interact with other clients so that he is stagnant in SP 2 and the recommendation needed for patients is Socialization Group Activity Therapy (TAKS) to socialize gradually

Women of the South Coast of Java in Politics and Rural Development

The discussion of women and politics in Indonesia has been mostly confined to the national and regional levels since a law requiring a minimum of 30% female candidates in legislative elections took effect. There are, however, only a few studies of women and politics at the village level, examining women’s contributions to village development. This study aims to explain the gap between the lack of representation of coastal women in rural politics and the extensive contributions of women to rural economic development. This is a qualitative study that involves informants in village administration, women managing business groups, an empowerment program manager, and others. The study’s results show that women’s representation in politics and village administration is low, even though the female population is comparable to the male population. However, women contribute substantially to development of the rural economy in several sectors. These include empowerment programs, in which women act as managers, initiators, actors, and beneficiaries, as well as the management of fishing, tourism, and environmental conservation groups. The involvement of women in rural economic development is an extension of their traditional domestic role, while they lack the experience and social capital to enable them to actively participate in rural politics. The study highlights the importance of supporting women\u27s representation through affirmative inclusion policies and political education for village women regarding political rights, the functions of village deliberation boards, the rules of village administration, etc. It also identifies a need to train government officials in gender sensitivity, so they can support the goal of equal representation in rural politics

Rancang Bangun Dashboard Administrasi Akademik di SMK Fadilah Tangerang Selatan

Untuk meningkatkan proses bisnis organisasi, penerapan sistem administrasi akademik mutlak diperlukan. Dalam penelitian ini di kaji rancang bangun dashboard administrasi akademik sebagai solusi terhadap proses pengambilan keputusan pimpinan yang masih dilakukan manual, sehingga membantu efektifitas dalam mengelola SMK Fadilah Tangerang.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimental dengan metode rekayasa waterfall. Teknologi aplikasi berbasis web dengan pemograman MVC, PHP, highcharts sebagai visualisasi dashboard. Penelitian yang didapat adalah terciptanya aplikasi dashboard, dan kepuasan pimpinan terhadap rancangan aplikasi. Hasil kesimpulan menunjukan bahwa rancangan ini dapat diimplementasikan sebagai bentuk penerapan teknologi terkini sehingga mengoptimalkan pengambilan keputusan

KEJAYAAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM PADA MASA KHALIFAH HARUN AR-RASYID

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu dasar kejayaan sebuah bangsa. Islam pernah mengalami kejayaannya pada masa dinasti Abbasiyah di mana saat itu lembaga pendidikan berkembang sangat pesat. Untuk mendukung kemajuan pendidikan dibutuhkan kebijakan pemerintah yang berkuasa saat itu. Salah satu khalifah yang sangat berperan penting dalam kejayaan pendidikan Islam saat itu adalah Harun Ar-Rasyid, dengan konsep pemikiran dan kebijakannya membangun lembaga-lembaga pendidikan yang menjadi dasar kemajuan pendidikan yang manfaatnya ada hingga saat ini. Dengan penelitian studi pustaka, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam mengkaji sumber literatur yang sesuai. Hasil penelitian dalam artikel ini memuat terkait tokoh khalifah Harun Ar-Rasyid yang memiliki kecintaan pada ilmu agama dan ilmu pengetahuan memberikan kesempatan baginya untuk mendukung kemajuan peradaban dengan kebijakannya yang memberikan dorongan besar terutama pada pengembangan ilmu dan pengetahuan
