    ERP System Evaluation on SOFI XP Based Accounting Module in Software House Industry

    Accounting module is an important module for a company business process. The roles are in the form of parameter calculation of profits, losses and financial performance based on transaction, which basically is a real-time reporting system. The amount of company needs on accounting indicates that the accounting is one of the resources which support the establishment of a company. Thus, the company constantly improves the accounting performance, especially in handling of receivables, debts, and cash transactions. Evaluations which were performed at SOFI XP-based ERP system aims to provide a solution to a problem that was discovered during the analysis of the system needs. This evaluation was done in two stages: by collecting data and analyzing the system that running in the company. By doing this evaluation, the documentation of system performance and the solution for problems that were found in the company can be generated

    We consider the problem of arbitration access to a tree structured communication channel with large geographic extent, providing multipoint communication among a set of terminals. In our model, terminals transmit information in bursts consisting of many packets and compete for the right to transmit bursts. In the simplest case, the channel allows only one terminal to transmit at a time; this can be extended to k concurrent transmitters. The problem resembles contention resolution in local area networks. It is distinguished by the topology of the channel, the magnitude of the delays involved and the potential for multiple transmitters. In this paper we identity two general approaches and several specifics access arbitration algorithms and make a preliminary assessment of their promise

    Nonblocking Multirate Distribution Networks

    This paper generalized known results for nonblocking distribution networks (also known as generalized connection networks) to the multirate environment, where different user connections share a switch\u27s internal data paths in arbitrary fractions of the total capacity. In particular, we derived conditions under which networks due to Ofman and Thompson, Pippenger, and Turner lead to multirate distribution networks. Our results include both rearrangeable multirate networks exceeds that of the corresponding space division network by a log log factor while the complexity of the wide sense nonblocking networks in within a factor of two the corresponding space division networks

    Exploring the combination of continuous-flow processes with the boron Lewis acid catalyzed hydrosilylation of aldehydes and ketones has delivered a robust and generally applicable reaction protocol. Notably this approach permits ready access to high temperatures and pressures and thus allows improved reactivity of substrates that were previously recalcitrant under the traditional approach.     Supramolecular aggregation in dithia-arsoles: chlorides, cations and N-centred paddlewheels

    The benzo-fused dithia-chloro-arsole derivative C6H4S2AsCl (1) is found to crystallise in the triclinic space group P[1 with combining macron] with 17 molecules in the asymmetric unit whereas the tolyl derivative, MeC6H3S2AsCl (2) is polymorphic with the Ī±-phase crystallising in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a single molecule in the asymmetric unit and the Ī²-phase adopting a triclinic structure with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. Reaction of these dithia-chloro-arsole derivatives with LiN(SiMe3)2 in a 3 : 1 mole ratio afforded the unique paddlewheel structure (MeC6H4S2As)3N (4)

    Borane catalyzed selective diazo cross-coupling towards pyrazoles

    Decomposition of donor-acceptor diazo compounds leads to the formation of reactive carbene intermediates. These can undergo a wide variety of carbene transfer reactions to yield synthetically useful products. Herein, we report a selective borane catalyzed cyclization reaction from the combination of two different diazo compounds to afford N-substituted pyrazoles. The selective decomposition of the more reactive Ī±-aryl Ī±-diazoester and subsequent reaction with a vinyl diazoacetate produces N-alkylated pyrazoles in a regioselective manner. Catalytic amounts of tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane (10ā€…mol%) were employed to afford the pyrazole products (36 examples) in yields from 59 to 80%. Extensive DFT studies have been undertaken to interpret the mechanism for this reaction which was found to go through two tandem catalytic cycles, both catalyzed by B(C6F5)3

    Three structural isomers of tris{bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl}borane have been studied as the acidic com- ponent of frustrated Lewis pairs. While the 3,5-substituted isomer is already known to heterolytically cleave H2 to generate a bridging-hydride; ortho-substituents in the 2,4- and 2,5-isomers quench such reactivity through electron donation into the vacant boron pz orbital and steric blocking of the boron centre; as shown by electrochemical, structural and computational studies. Electrochemical studies of the corresponding borohydrides identify that the two-electron oxidation of terminal-hydrides occurs at more positive potentials than observed for [HB(C6F5)3]āˆ’, while the bridging-hydride oxidizes at a higher poten- tial still, comparable to that of free H2

    The reaction of (diphenylmethylene)hydrazone or 1,4-bis-hydrazone-ylidene(phenylmethyl)benzene with Lewis acidic boranes B(2,4,6-F3C6H2)3 or B(3,4,5-F3C6H2)3 generates the Lewis acidā€“base adducts. Alternatively, when (9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)hydrazone is employed several products were isolated including 1,2-di(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)hydrazone, the 2ā€†:ā€†1 borane adduct of NH2ā€“NH2 and the 1-(diarylboraneyl)-2-(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)hydrazone in which one ArH group has been eliminated. The benzhydrazide starting material also initially gives an adduct when reacted with Lewis acidic boranes which upon heating eliminates ArH generating a CON2B heterocycle

    Evolution records a Mx tape for anti-viral immunity

    Viruses impose diverse and dynamic challenges on host defenses. Diversifying selection of codons and gene copy number variation are two hallmarks of genetic innovation in antiviral genes engaged in host-virus genetic conflicts. The myxovirus resistance (Mx) genes encode interferon-inducible GTPases that constitute a major arm of the cell-autonomous defense against viral infection. Unlike the broad antiviral activity of MxA, primate MxB was recently shown to specifically inhibit lentiviruses including HIV-1. We carried out detailed evolutionary analyses to investigate whether genetic conflict with lentiviruses has shaped MxB evolution in primates. We found strong evidence for diversifying selection in the MxB N-terminal tail, which contains molecular determinants of MxB anti-lentivirus specificity. However, we found no overlap between previously-mapped residues that dictate lentiviral restriction and those that have evolved under diversifying selection. Instead, our findings are consistent with MxB having a long-standing and important role in the interferon response to viral infection against a broader range of pathogens than is currently appreciated. Despite its critical role in host innate immunity, we also uncovered multiple functional losses of MxB during mammalian evolution, either by pseudogenization or by gene conversion from MxA genes. Thus, although the majority of mammalian genomes encode two Mx genes, this apparent stasis masks the dramatic effects that recombination and diversifying selection have played in shaping the evolutionary history of Mx genes. Discrepancies between our study and previous publications highlight the need to account for recombination in analyses of positive selection, as well as the importance of using sequence datasets with appropriate depth of divergence. Our study also illustrates that evolutionary analyses of antiviral gene families are critical towards understanding molecular principles that govern host-virus interactions and species-specific susceptibility to viral infection
