Los libros españoles del comerciante escocés David Steuart

During the 18th century, they are still few the British bibliophiles who had Spanish books in their libraries, perhaps due to the shortage of the supply. An interesting collection of 144 books was gathered by the Scottish salesman and bibliophile David Steuart (1747-1824) who lived in Barcelona from 1768 to 1771, mainly devoted to the trading of wines and brandy. Once back in his homeland, many years after, he went bankrupt and was seized. The selling catalogue of the books, drew up for the corresponding auction, which took place in 1801, serves as a basis for the bibliography compiled in this article.En el siglo XVIII, son todavía pocos los bibliófilos británicos que tienen libros españols en sus bibliotecas, debido quizá a la escasez de la oferta. Una interesante colección de ellos (144) fue formada por el comerciante y bibliófilo escocés David Steuart (1747-1824), que residió en Barcelona de 1768 a 1771 dedicado a negocios de vinos y brandy. Vuelto a su patria, sufrió muchos años después una fuerte bancarrota y fue embargado. El catálogo de venta, confeccionado para la subasta correspondiente que tuvo lugar en 1801, es la base de la bibliografía, que se recoge en este artículo

103 p.La Viña San Pedro-Planta Molina cuenta con cinco líneas de producción, una de ellas es la línea BAG IN BOX, en la cual, se estudiaran las operaciones asociados a la capacidad de producción y sus costos en correcta relación con la demanda del mercado y el producto el cual se obtiene corresponde a bolsas de vino en cajas de cartón denominadas “BAG IN BOX”, En este proyecto de titulación se presenta el estudio para la toma de decisión eficaz frente a las variabilidades bruscas de las producciones, en el trascurso del tiempo. Esta variabilidad de la producción conlleva a generar más horas de trabajo al realizar cambios de la programación de los tunos, para cumplir con las variables de producción mencionadas anteriormente, siempre buscando conseguir el mas bajo costo aceptable. Para este análisis se desarrollara un modelo compuesto de un diagrama de decisión con tablas de valores, en donde se reflejará una visión general del modelo en primera instancia, para lograr tomar la mejor decisión frente a la producciones que debe realizar la línea, de esta forma, se logrará cumplir con las exigencias del cliente al más bajo costo posible, presentando distintos programas de turnos productivos y sus respectivos horarios, en donde por consecuencia se verán reflejados los extremos productivos de la línea operativa, reflejando cuando la línea no es capaz de abastecer la demanda más alta. This variability in production leads to create more hours of work to make changes to the programming of the rogues, to meet production variables mentioned above, always looking to get the lowest acceptable cost. For this analysis we developed a model onsisting of a decision diagram with tables of values, which reflect an overview of the model in the first instance, to make the best decision to take off the production line to be performed, so be achieved to meet customer requirements at the lowest cost possible, providing various programs and their respective production shift schedules, where consequently the ends will be reflected in the operational production, reflecting when the line is capable of supplying the highest demand

Análisis de los contenidos a través de las audiencias del Magazín Cinépolis de la Universidad Autónoma de Occidente

El presente trabajo de grado tiene como objetivo recoger las apreciaciones que tienen algunas personas ubicadas dentro del rango del público objetivo del magazín Cinepolis para obtener de ellas una información básica sobre los elementos que le agradan y le desagradan del programa con el fin de mejorarlo. El presente proyecto solo es de carácter exploratorio y la metodología que usa no pretende ser representativa, sino entregar información cualitativa recurriendo al uso del Focus Group. Se realizó una investigación con el fin de determinar la mejor manera para obtener información de primera mano, de las personas que asistirían a los grupos focales. Se seleccionaron dos conjuntos de personas buscando abarcar el target del programa y se realizaron grupos focales independientes para obtener opiniones profundas sobre los diferentes aspectos de Cinepolis. Rediseno y puesta en marcha de plan de inspeccion electromecanica VSP-Vina San Pedro, Planta Molina

143 p.El presente proyecto de titulación presenta las planillas de inspecciones electromecánicas preventivas, que mejoraron y potencializaron a las existente en la Viña San Pedro, las cuales no cumplían con los requerimientos estándares para poder realizar de buena manera la orden de trabajo y el posterior gestionamiento de la solución. Para lo anterior, se realizó un estudio acabado a fin de determinar las acciones que cumplen con un buen programa de inspecciones. La Viña San Pedro-Planta Molina cuenta con cuatro líneas de producción, y para este trabajo se analizó la línea numero uno como prototipo, para en el futuro aplicar el método a las siguientes líneas. Se realizó un análisis de modo de falla, efecto y criticidad (FMEA/FMECA, herramienta de la concepción MCC), y con este análisis se definen los temas del mantenimiento bimestrales. En conclusión el sistema de inspecci6n implementado permite obtener una planificación del mantenimiento mas confiable, llevar un control del estado en cuanto al funcionamiento y el desgaste de las piezas mas criticas, en donde el operador en base a las planillas de inspecci6n logra llevar el mantenimientos con una única interpretación de la falla, logrando mayor eficiencia al adoptar el criterio mantenedor-operador y así tener un sistema de información mas detallado permitiendo tomar decisiones acertadas al gestor del mantenimiento, logrando con esto tener una mayor disponibilidad en los equipos

Low-cost oblique illumination: an image quality assessment

P. 1-14We study the effectiveness of several low-cost oblique illumination filters to improve overall image quality, in comparison with standard bright field imaging. For this purpose, a dataset composed of 3360 diatom images belonging to 21 taxa was acquired. Subjective and objective image quality assessments were done. The subjective evaluation was performed by a group of diatom experts by psychophysical test where resolution, focus, and contrast were assessed. Moreover, some objective nonreference image quality metrics were applied to the same image dataset to complete the study, together with the calculation of several texture features to analyze the effect of these filters in terms of textural properties. Both image quality evaluation methods, subjective and objective, showed better results for images acquired using these illumination filters in compari-son with the no filtered image. These promising results confirm that this kind of illumination filters can be a practical way to improve the image quality, thanks to the simple and low cost of the design and manufacturing process.S

Vestibular migraine: Diagnosis and treatment

[ES] La Migraña Vestibular es una de las causas más frecuente de vértigo recurrente. En ocasiones su diagnóstico puede no resultar sencillo por la variedad de presentaciones de la enfermedad. Es necesaria una buena caracterización de la enfermedad y unos criterios diagnósticos claros que permitan hacer más sencillo el manejo de la enfermedad. Por otro lado, el tratamiento de esta entidad es similar al tratamiento de la migraña, tanto el tratamiento de la crisis aguda como de la profilaxis. Existen documentos de consenso tanto de diagnóstico como de tratamiento que son analizados en este trabajo. [EN] Vestibular migraine is one of the most common causes of recurrent vertigo. Ocasionally, diagnosis of vestibular migraine can not be easy because of variety of clinical manifestations. A good characterization of the vestibular migraine and goods diagnostic criteria are necessary in order to treat the vestibular migraine easily. In the other hand, the treatment of vestibular migraine is similar to the treatment of migraine, both acute crisis and preventive treatment. There are several consensus papers in diagnosis and treatment that are analized in this work

Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tuberculosis management in Spain

Methods Participating centres completed a structured web-based survey regarding changes to TB patient management during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study also included data from participating centres on patients aged ≥18 diagnosed with TB in 2 periods: March 15 to June 30, 2020 and March 15 to June 30, 2019. Clinical variables and information about patient household contacts were retrospectively collected. Results A total of 7 (70%) TB units reported changes in their usual TB team operations. Across both periods of study, 169 patients were diagnosed with active TB (90 in 2019, 79 in 2020). Patients diagnosed in 2020 showed more frequent bilateral lesions in chest X-ray than patients diagnosed in 2019 ( P = 0.004). There was a higher percentage of latent TB infection and active TB among children in households of patients diagnosed in 2020, compared with 2019 ( P = 0.001). Conclusions The COVID-19 pandemic has caused substantial changes in TB care. TB patients diagnosed during the COVID-19 pandemic showed more extended pulmonary forms. Dissecting the role of the NADPH oxidase NOX4 in TGF-beta signaling in hepatocellular carcinoma

The NADPH oxidase NOX4 has been proposed as necessary for the apoptosis induced by the Transforming Growth Factor-beta (TGF-I3) in hepatocytes and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells. However, whether NOX4 is required for TGF-I3-induced canonical (SMADs) or non-canonical signals is not fully understood yet, neither its potential involvement in other parallel actions induced by TGF-I3. In this work we have used CRISPR Cas9 technology to stable attenuate NOX4 expression in HCC cells. Results have indicated that NOX4 is required for an efficient SMAD2/3 phosphorylation in response to TGF-I3, whereas non-canonical signals, such as the phos-phorylation of the Epidermal Growth Receptor or AKT, are higher in NOX4 silenced cells. TGF-I3-mediated in-hibition of cell proliferation and viability is attenuated in NOX4 silenced cells, correlating with decreased response in terms of apoptosis, and maintenance of high expression of MYC and CYCLIN D1. These results would indicate that NOX4 is required for all the tumor suppressor actions of TGF-I3 in HCC. However, analysis in human HCC tumors has revealed a worse prognosis for patients showing high expression of TGF-I31-related genes concomitant with high expression of NOX4. Deepening into other tumorigenic actions of TGF-I3 that may contribute to tumor progression, we found that NOX4 is also required for TGF-I3-induced migratory effects. The Epithelial-Mesenchymal transition (EMT) program does not appear to be affected by attenuation of NOX4 levels. However, TGF-I3-mediated regulation of cytoskeleton dynamics and focal adhesions require NOX4, which is necessary for TGF-I3-induced increase in the chaperone Hsp27 and correct subcellular localization of Hic-5 within focal adhesions, as well for upregulation of the metalloprotease MMP9. All these results together point to NOX4 as a key element in the whole TGF-I3 signaling in HCC cells, revealing an unknown role for NOX4 as tumor promoter in HCC patients presenting activation of the TGF-I3 pathway
