Restructuring of Ural Enterprises and Changes in the Internal Labor Market: A Sociological Perspective

The internal labor market is a field where the employer and the employees interact within an organization, this field being similar in its functions to the ordinary external labor market, that is, it determines the cost of manpower, and the staff movements within the enterprise, which include both horizontal and vertical mobility. The processes analyzed by economists within the framework of the concept of the internal labor market are studied in sociology as processes of intra-organizational mobility: its factors, trajectories, and the ascent opportunities of its staff.

Complexation of norfloxacin with DNA in the presence of caffeine

1H NMR spectroscopy (500 MHz) has been used to quantify the complexation of the antibacterial antibiotic Norfloxacin (NOR) with DNA in the presence of Caffeine (CAF). Separate studies have been made for the self-association of NOR, its hetero-association with CAF and complexation with a model self-complementary DNA tetramer, 5′-d(TpGpCpA), in order to determine the equilibrium parameters (induced chemical shifts, association constants, enthalpy and entropy) of the two-component mixtures to aid the analysis of the three-component systems. Investigations of the self-association of NOR and its hetero-association with CAF show that the aggregation of NOR molecules and association with CAF in solution are driven by the stacking of aromatic chromophores. The complexation of NOR with d(TGCA) has been analysed in terms of intercalation with the double-stranded form and non-intercalative binding with the single-stranded form of DNA. Investigations of the competitive binding of NOR and CAF with DNA show that at physiological concentrations of NOR (μM) and CAF (mM) the dominant mechanism influencing the affinity of NOR with DNA is the displacement of bound NOR molecules from DNA due to CAF–DNA complexation (i.e. the protector action of Caffeine)

An exclusive phonological method of teaching a foreign language with a professionally oriented approach

The relevance of the topic of the article is due to the reassessment of the goals and objectives of professionally oriented language education at the undergraduate level in the light of UNESCO initiatives. The hypothesis: use of the proposed methodology in the course of teaching English with the indicated approach at a technical university can significantly improve pronunciation. The purpose  is to determine the effectiveness of the phonological methodology in teaching a foreign language based on a professionally oriented approach. Methodology: pilot experiment, comparison, observation, description, Wilcoxon's T-test, induction. The experiment in 2019-2020 involved 60 students of the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University). Most relevant results: repeated control testing revealed an increase in the level of foreign language proficiency. The Wilcoxon t-test confirmed the significance of differences in the results: Temp=0< Tcr (n=4; p≤0.01)=1. Practical testing of this study showed that the vocalism technique provides effective opportunities for implementing an individual learning path. Thus, future research suggested by the results will continue to improve the phonology of pronunciation. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that this experiment was conducted for the first time at an aerospace non-linguistic university

A study of aspects of structural design based on application of complete modular units

In the middle of the 20th century, technical progress allowed to maximize the size of building units, which has led to the advent of new industrial construction systems and increased construction progress rates. However, today the problem remains not completely solved and is still a vexed one. Prefabrication is not widely used, though many structural design experts predict its widespread rollout in the near future. It makes it necessary to find out the obstacles in the way of further development. The purpose of this work is to study prefabrication aspects. The objective of the study is identification of fundamental attributes common to complete modular units (the ones that include equipment and furnishings). The improvement of such aspects is meant to drastically increase design quality. The paper envelops the basic concepts of prefabrication, describes characteristics of complete modular units and analyzes the prefabrication algorithm taking into account existing BIM (Building Information Modeling) software

La place accordée à l’éthique professionnelle dans les textes légiférant la profession enseignante

Qu’est-ce qui guide une enseignant ou un enseignant lorsqu’elle ou il doit faire face à des dilemmes moraux dans l’exercice de ses fonctions ? Est-ce que « le gros bon sens » peut suffire à lui insuffler le comportement adéquat, la bonne intervention ou la juste réplique dans un contexte problématique ? La réponse est non. Étant considérés comme des professionnels, les enseignants se doivent d’avoir une éthique de travail, une éthique relationnelle, bref, une éthique professionnelle. Mais où la trouve-t-on cette éthique professionnelle ? Est-ce lors de la formation universitaire des maîtres ? Non, pas vraiment, car ce ne sont pas toutes les universités québécoises qui offrent des cours d’éthique. Est-ce qu’on peut trouver des renseignements sur l’éthique professionnelle dans des documents produits par des organisations telles que le ministère de l’Éducation, les commissions scolaires, les écoles ? Et si oui, quel genre de renseignements trouve-t-on dans ces documents ? C’est ainsi que dans le cadre de notre travail de recherche, nous nous sommes donné l’objectif suivant : tenter de dresser un portrait de la place accordée à l’éthique professionnelle en enseignement dans les textes provenant des organismes gouvernementaux et privés – le ministère de l’Éducation, l’Office des professions, le Conseil supérieur de l’éducation, le Comité d’orientation de la formation du personnel enseignant et le Conseil pédagogique interdisciplinaire du Québec –, des organismes syndicaux – la Fédération des syndicats de l’enseignement (CSQ) et l’Internationale de l’Éducation –, des organismes universitaires et scolaires – les universités québécoises, les commissions scolaires et les directions d’écoles. En ayant autant d’intervenants dans la profession enseignante, nous pensons qu’il est important d’examiner le contenu de leurs textes afin de dégager les thèmes saillants et les tendances, qui sont relatifs à l’éthique professionnelle, car après tout, la création d’un ordre professionnel des enseignantes et des enseignants du Québec a été refusée par l’Office des professions qui affirmait que le public était très bien protégé par les lois et les règlements en place. Afin de pouvoir atteindre notre objectif de recherche, nous avons opté pour l’analyse qualitative, plus précisément, l’analyse thématique. Après avoir thématisé les textes faisant partie de notre corpus à l’étude, nous avons procédé à la catégorisation des thèmes dans le dessein de décrire et d’expliquer les rapprochements et les écarts qui existent entre les textes et les différentes perceptions des dimensions de l’éthique professionnelle. Après avoir synthétisé nos résultats de recherche et les différentes visions de l’éthique professionnelle, nous avons pu remarquer qu’il existe un manque de vision et de précisions à ce sujet. De plus, nous avons constaté qu’en dix ans, les différents discours sur l’éthique en enseignement ont subi très peu d’évolution, car les différents organismes abordent ce sujet sous des angles très limités, sans tenir compte de la complexité de ce concept. Il y a aussi un manque quant à une vision d’ensemble qui serait la même pour tous les milieux scolaires, publics, privés, syndiqués ou non. Après ce travail de thématisation et d’analyse de différents documents légiférant la profession enseignante, nous sommes en mesure de proposer, bien humblement, des pistes de solutions pour que l’éthique ne soit plus le parent pauvre de la profession enseignante. Nous espérons que ces pistes inspireront d’autres enseignantes ou enseignants qui se sentent concernés par ce sujet et qui pensent, comme nous, que des injustices et des inégalités ont assez duré dans nos écoles
