The storage capacity of underground gas storages in the Czech republic

Sources of natural gas are in most cases located in remote areas far from the places where the gas is utilized, i.e. especially developed industrial countries to which it is transported via pipeline. However, transit gas pipelines, which are transporting extracted gas to the consumers, have a relatively limited peak capacity, the transit supplies essentially have a stable character and are not able to cover increased seasonal or peak demands for gas in gas distribution networks. The solution of this problem is the main task for underground gas storages (UGS) that through the operative regulation maintain stability and reliability of the entire gas system. This article provides a general list of options that can increase the storage capacity of natural gas in underground gas storages and focuses on factors that influence the options of an individual UGS

Concept of leak tightness monitoring at underground gas storage

The most important part of the operation of each underground gas storage facility is the implementation of a regular monitoring system for leak tightness monitoring. This article deals with the design of a proposal leak tightness monitoring concept in underground gas storage in porous reservoirs (depleted gas/oil reservoirs, aquifer reservoirs). This concept interconnects all commonly used and established leak tightness monitoring methodologies and evaluates them in time with comparison with historical results with reference to possible solutions or implementation of remedial measure

Testing of Sealing Elements for FIB Apparatus Designed to Liquidate Open Eruption by Drilling Tools

Petroleum and natural gas still have their place among the most important resources in many industrial areas. Their global consumption influences an increasing demand on the quality of drilling works and the efficiency of extraction. Nonetheless, even in this field of human activity, we can encounter exceptional events and accidents. One of the most serious kinds of accidents during exploration is the so called open eruption of extracted medium. The specific case of this accident is an open eruption caused by drilling tools when a working crew is not capable of securing drilling workplace. In order to solve this emergency situation, Main Mining Rescue Station Hodonin (HBZS Hodonin),in cooperation with researchers from Faculty of Mining and Geology at VSB -Technical University of Ostrava, designed and developed specialised apparatus DPRP (Drill Pipe Rescue Press), working designation FIB-1. This apparatus enables the liquidation of eruption by pressing the drilling pipe. The residual crack, which remains following the pressing, must be eliminated by sealing materials. Proposal of a register system for corporate projects

Ve spolupráci s organizací zabývající se informačními systémy SAP a správou dokumentace byl vytvořen cíl práce. Cílem této práce je specifikovat požadavky na změny v řešení kmenového listu projektu v této organizaci, možných variant řešení a jejich přínosů. Práce je rozdělená do tří částí.V první části autor představuje teorii pojednávající o projektovém řízení a významu projektového řízení v podniku. V rámci první části je provedena literární rešerše na téma rozhodujících faktorů úspěchu projektů. V druhé části je řešena metodologie ASAP Focus. Metodologie se zabývá etapami projektu implementace a projektu upgrade informačního systému SAP. Popsány jsou také organizační struktury a dokumenty vznikající v rámci metodologie. Třetí část se zabývá analýzou stávajícího systému evidence projektů v organizaci. Ve třetí části jsou také zpracovány možné varianty řešení změny kmenového listu projektu a jejich vyhodnocení

„Nadchodzi zmiana (wspomnienia z Kołymy)” Kazimierza Żurawieckiego

This is a second part of article (first was published in “Textus et Studia”, no 1(5)/2016) concerning memories written by Kazimierz Żurawiecki. The book entitled A Change Is Coming. Memories of Kolyma gives an account about his stay in Kolyma camps. The form that the author gave to his work is quite unique. Kazimierz Żurawiecki by his own hands drew up the book and worked it out with unusual care. The text is divided into nine chapters, each of them is followed by annotations to numerous words and expressions in Russian. Everything is concluded by a table of contents. The book is amply illustrated with drawings. K. Żurawiecki had submitted before, anonymously, his reports to the Office of Documents of 2nd Corps. These reports might have been an inspiration for Żurawiecki to write down his own memories in such a form. Kazimierz Zamorski and Stanisław Starzewski invoked Żurawiecki’s records in the book Sprawiedliwość sowiecka, Władysław Anders in his memories Bez ostatniego rozdziału and Małgorzata Giżejewska in her work Polacy na Kolymie 1940–1943. K. Żurawiecki limited the scope of his memories solely to the report of his stay in Kolyma, completely leaving aside the period of his arrest, investigation and transport to Nachodka. His records include valuable historical material, which is fully compliant with the factography known from other sources and studies. Many plots described by Żurawiecki appear also in the reports of other prisoners of Kolyma camps

Wspomnienia z Kołymy Kazimierza Żurawieckiego

In 2010 in Rome, while the archives of the Hospice of Saint Stanislaus were enumerated and reordered, the memoires of Kazimierz Żurawiecki were found. The book entitled A Change Is Coming. Memories of Kolyma gives an account about his stay in Kolyma camps. Żurawiecki limited the scope of his memories solely to the report of his stay in Kolyma, completely leaving aside other periods. His records include valuable historical material, which is fully compliant with the factography known from other sources and studies. Many plots described by him appear also in the reports of other prisoners of Kolyma camps. Following 17th of September 1939, Lwów found itself under Soviet occupation. Żurawiecki, who was involved in the underground activity within the organization of ZWZ-2, was arrested and sentenced for 10 years of reformatory labour camps in 1940. After the transport, which had lasted a few months, Żurawiecki arrived to Kolyma in June 1941. After his stay in a transitional camp near Magadan, he ended up in a camp situated close to a gold mine. Due to the so-called “amnesty” for Polish citizens, in October 1941, Żurawiecki sailed away from the Kolyma. In the February of 1942, Żurawiecki was accepted to the 9th Infantry Division (part of the Polish army of General Anders). The fate of Żurawiecki was identical to the fates of others General Anders’ soldiers, having been led through Iran, Palestine, Iraq and Egypt to Italy to arrive in Great Britain. Żurawiecki was a member of the 3rd Carpathian Riflemen Division, created as a result of various reorganizations of this unit. The combats ended by the seizing of Bolonia on 21st of April 1945. Żurawiecki arrived to Great Britain on 1st of January 1948, after having stayed for 2 years in Rome. At the end of the 40’s, he left for Argentina and settled down in the city of Mendoza. That is where he died suddenly of a heart attack in 1962

Technique variability in combined events

TECHNIQUE VARIABILITY IN COMBINED EVENTS Thesis objectives: The main aim of this work is to find out a level of movement differentiation of multi-event competitors of different performance which is shown in mastering the technique of partucular decathlon events. The next aim is to point out the important aspects in technique, to refer to some imperfection and to characterize some individual distinctiveness. Methods: In our thesis we used a method of analysis and observation for analyzing the photo sequences and a method of comparison while assessing the level of technique differentiation in decathlon field events. Results: In spite of the fact that J. Ryba's decathlon performane is worse, we found out that , in comparison with D. Laboratory Analysis of EOR by CO2 Flooding in Carbon Capture and Storage Project

Import 02/11/2016Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na terciární metodu vtláčení CO2 v rámci jeho geosekvestrace. Ve druhé kapitole jsou rozděleny a popsány právě tyto terciární metody (Enhanced oil recovery). Třetí kapitolu tvoří rešerše na téma geosekvestrace a proces zachytávání a ukládání CO2 (Carbon capture and storage). Další kapitola pojednává o mechanismech a parametrech působení CO2 při těžbě ropy. Praktickou část tvoří pátá kapitola, která se týká laboratorních měření relativních propustností vrtného jádra, stanovené pomocí permeametru. Propustnosti byly stanoveny pomocí unsteady state testu a steady state testu. Jsou zde počítány také vlastnosti CO2 – ropné fáze vzniklé při steady state testu jako rozpustnost CO2 v ropě, nebo hustota a viskozita směsi.This thesis is focused on enhaced oil recovery method of injection of CO2 and its storage. The second chapter is based on enhanced oil recovery methods, which are divided and described. Third chapter is recherche about geosequestration and carbon and capture storage process. Next part is engaged with mechanisms and parametres of CO2, which act during exploitation of oil. Practical part of this thesis forms fifth chapter, which is about laboratory measurements of relative permeability with permeameter. Relative permeabilities were determined by unsteady state test and steady state test.
