    Sebagai salah satu lembaga keuangan, bank perlu menjaga kinerjanya agar dapat beroperasi secara optimal. Terlebih lagi bank syariah harus bersaing dengan bank konvensional yang dominan dan telah berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Persaingan yang semakin tajam ini harus diikuti dengan manajemen yang baik untuk bisa bertahan di industri perbankan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat Kesehatan Keuangan Bank pada PT. BRI Syariah Tbk dengan menggunakan pendekatan CAMEL, apakah berada pada predikat bank yang sehat, cukup sehat, kurang sehat atau predikat tidak sehat. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan berupa data bank yang mempublikasikan laporan keuangan tahunan yaitu PT. Bank BRISyariah dari tahun 2009-2013. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dengan analisis CAMEL. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa berdasarkan analisis metode CAMEL, PT. BRISyariah Tbk tergolong perusahaan perbankan syariah yang berpredikat sehat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai CAMEL sejak tahun 2008 sampai dengan tahun 2013 berturut-turut adalah 82,32; 82,23; 84,50; 83,77; dan 84,06. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut, dapat diketahui bahwa PT. BRISyariah Tbk tetap dapat melanjutkan usahanya, meskipun selama periode 2009 hingga 2013 nilai CAMEL PT. BRISyariah Tbk mengalami fluktuasi naik turun. Hal ini juga menunjukkan bahwa selama periode yang sama, PT. BRISyariah Tbk memiliki kinerja yang baik dalam pengelolaan segala sumber daya yang dimilikinya bila dilihat berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Rasio CAMEL tersebu

    The N-Terminus of Apolipoprotein A-V Adopts a Helix-Bundle Molecular Architecture

    Previous studies of recombinant full-length human apolipoprotein A-V (apoA-V) provided evidence of the presence of two independently folded structural domains. Computer-assisted sequence analysis and limited proteolysis studies identified an N-terminal fragment as a candidate for one of the domains. C-Terminal truncation variants in this size range, apoA-V(1-146) and apoA-V(1-169), were expressed in Escherichia coli and isolated. Unlike full-length apoA-V or apoA-V(1-169), apoA-V(1-146) was soluble in neutral-pH buffer in the absence of lipid. Sedimentation equilibrium analysis yielded a weight-average molecular weight of 18811, indicating apoA-V(1-146) exists as a monomer in solution. Guanidine HCl denaturation experiments at pH 3.0 yielded a one-step native to unfolded transition that corresponds directly with the more stable component of the two-stage denaturation profile exhibited by full-length apoA-V. On the other hand, denaturation experiments conducted at pH 7.0 revealed a less stable structure. In a manner similar to that of known helix bundle apolipoproteins, apoA-V(1-146) induced a relatively small enhancement in 8-anilino-1-naphthalenesulfonic acid fluorescence intensity. Quenching studies with single-Trp apoA-V(1-146) variants revealed that a unique site predicted to reside on the nonpolar face of an amphipathic R-helix was protected from quenching by KI. Taken together, the data suggest the 146 N-terminal residues of human apoA-V adopt a helix bundle molecular architecture in the absence of lipid and, thus, likely exist as an independently folded structural domain within the context of the intact protein

    Free fall motion is a falls down movement of an object due to the influence of the earth's gravitational force without any other significant forces affecting the movement. In free fall, the acceleration of an object is always constant and heading downward, and its value is about 9.8 meters per second squared (m/sÂČ) on the Earth's surface. The implementation of free fall motion technology is expected to help students in doing their basic physics practicum so that observations is no longer done manually using a stopwatch. In addition, with this teaching media, the measurement data will be more constant in value because it has been arranged in the system, so that the results will be more accurate. The implementation of this free fall motion media is used to measure the travel time of an object, its speed and gravity value during free fall from a height of 60 cm and 30 cm. The travel time can be determined using a timer of an Arduino Uno and an Infrared Sensor that will be detected and read when there is an object passing by. Based on experiments that have been carried out at a height of 60 cm using ping pong ball, large marble, and small marble, the obtained value of gravitational acceleration is almost the same as the average value of gravitational acceleration measured namely 9.99, 10.00, and 10.24 m⁄s2 respectively. At a height of 30 cm, using the same objects, the obtained value of gravitational acceleration is 10.62 m⁄s2

    Abstract This study is aimed to describe the management of educational service marketing in MTs Assalaam of Sukoharjo which consists of three procedures namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The type is categorized into a qualitative research that designed in the case study. Data collection is applied through observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. The data analysis is conducted based on explanation and interpretation on data. The results of the study show that (1) the marketing subjects of educational service in MTs Assalaam conduct the consumers’ need analysis and auditing the past actions related to the educational service marketing; (2) there are several ways in planning step namely composing the goal of marketing, determining the promotion budget plan, deciding the target of consumer, creating the message or information, deciding the communication ways, and specifying the promotion mix; (3) marketing team conducts several kinds of promotion mix in the implementation of educational service marketing namely masselling, selling promotion, publics relation, direct marketing, and word of mouth. Evaluation of the educational service marketing implementation is conducted by coordination meetings that held at once in a month and a year. Thus, management of educational service marketing in MTs Assalaam is applied well and structured, in consequence, the target can be reached.     Perkembangan industri batik di Kampoeng Batik Laweyan menuntut para pengusaha batik untuk terus meningkatkan dan memperbaiki kinerjanya agar dapat tetap bertahan dan berkompetisi dengan industri lainnya. Salah satu yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan meningkatkan produktivitas. Dengan produktivitas dapat diketahui bagaimana kinerja sebuah perusahaan secara keseluruhan dan sebagai tolak ukur untuk melakukan perbaikan yang berkelanjutan Selain berdampak positif terhadap perekonomian, industri batik juga memiliki dampak dalam segi lingkungan. Dampak lingkungan tersebut disebabkan karena proses produksi yang mengakibatkan pembuangan material dan energi yang membebani lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur produktivitas dan kinerja lingkungan dari UKM Batik Ogut, UKM Batik Anugrah Purnama dan UKM Batik Tunaruntum. Green productivity merupakan suatu strategi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan dan performansi lingkungan secara bersamaan di dalam pembangunan sosial-ekonomi secara menyeluruh. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perhitungan produktivitas dan kinerja lingkungan dari ketiga UKM batik tersebut dan membuat upaya penanganan limbah berupa filtrasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada Ukm Batik Ogut, Ukm Batik Anugrah Purnama dan Ukm Batik Tunaruntum didapatkan produktivitas dari ketiga ukm pada bulan Januari 2019 adalah: 205%, 172% dan 610%. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas adalah dengan manajemen material berupa penggunaan kembali (reuse) lilin malam dan mengganti bahan bakar untuk proses lorod dengan menggunakan gas. Berdasarkan perhitungan produktivitas didapatkan produktivitas ketiga ukm meningkat menjadi: 249% , 208% dan 664%. Setelah adanya penanganan limbah cair, nilai indeks environmental performance indicator (EPI) dari ketiga ukm meningkat dari -0.363, -1.415, -3.285 menjadi 0.219, -0.032, -0.77

    A weighted de Rham operator acting on arbitrary tensor fields and their local potentials

    We introduce a weighted de Rham operator which acts on arbitrary tensor fields by considering their structure as r-fold forms. We can thereby define associated superpotentials for all tensor fields in all dimensions and, from any of these superpotentials, we deduce in a straightforward and natural manner the existence of 2r potentials for any tensor field, where r is its form-structure number. By specialising this result to symmetric double forms, we are able to obtain a pair of potentials for the Riemann tensor, and a single (2,3)-form potential for the Weyl tensor due to its tracelessness. This latter potential is the n-dimensional version of the double dual of the classical four dimensional (2,1)-form Lanczos potential. We also introduce a new concept of harmonic tensor fields, demonstrate that the new weighted de Rham operator has many other desirable properties and, in particular, it is the natural operator to use in the Laplace-like equation for the Riemann tensor.Comment: 33 pages: corrected typos and minor additions; reference [39] adde

    The Middle Way: East Asian masters students’ perceptions of critical argumentation in U.K. universities.

    The paper explores the learning experiences of East Asian masters students in dealing with Western academic norms of critical thinking in classroom debate and assignment writing. The research takes a cultural approach, and employs grounded theory and case study methodology, the aims being for students to explain their perceptions of their personal learning journeys. The data suggest that the majority of students interviewed rejected full academic acculturation into Western norms of argumentation. They instead opted for a ‘Middle Way’ that synergizes the traditional cultural academic values held by many East Asian students with those elements of Western academic norms that are perceived to be aligned with these. This is a relatively new area of research which represents a challenge for British lecturers and students

    Complete callosal agenesis, pontocerebellar hypoplasia, and axonal neuropathy due to AMPD2 loss

    Objective: To determine the molecular basis of a severe neurologic disorder in a large consanguineous family with complete agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC), pontocerebellar hypoplasia (PCH), and peripheral axonal neuropathy. Methods: Assessment included clinical evaluation, neuroimaging, and nerve conduction studies (NCSs). Linkage analysis used genotypes from 7 family members, and the exome of 3 affected siblings was sequenced. Molecular analyses used Sanger sequencing to perform segregation studies and cohort analysis and Western blot of patient-derived cells. Results: Affected family members presented with postnatal microcephaly and profound developmental delay, with early death in 3. Neuroimaging, including a fetal MRI at 30 weeks, showed complete ACC and PCH. Clinical evaluation showed areflexia, and NCSs revealed a severe axonal neuropathy in the 2 individuals available for electrophysiologic study. A novel homozygous stopgain mutation in adenosine monophosphate deaminase 2 (AMPD2) was identified within the linkage region on chromosome 1. Molecular analyses confirmed that the mutation segregated with disease and resulted in the loss of AMPD2. Subsequent screening of a cohort of 42 unrelated individuals with related imaging phenotypes did not reveal additional AMPD2 mutations. Conclusions: We describe a family with a novel stopgain mutation in AMPD2. We expand the phenotype recently described as PCH type 9 to include progressive postnatal microcephaly, complete ACC, and peripheral axonal neuropathy. Screening of additional individuals with related imaging phenotypes failed to identify mutations in AMPD2, suggesting that AMPD2 mutations are not a common cause of combined callosal and pontocerebellar defects

    The SĂŁo Francisco Submedium Valley is located at the Brazilian semiarid region and is an important center for irrigated fruit growing. This region is responsible for 97% of the national exportation of table grapes, including seedless grapes. This region is responsible for 97% of the national exportation of table grapes, including seedless grapes. Based on the fact that organic fertilization can improve soil quality, we compared the effects of conventional and organic soil management on microbial activity and mycorrhization of seedless grape crops. We measured glomerospores number, most probable number (MPN) of propagules, richness of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) species, AMF root colonization, EE-BRSP production, carbon microbial biomass (C-MB), microbial respiration, fluorescein diacetate hydrolytic activity (FDA) and metabolic coefficient (qCO2). The organic management led to an increase in all variables with the exception of EE-BRSP and qCO2. Mycorrhizal colonization increased from 4.7% in conventional crops to 15.9% in organic crops. Spore number ranged from 4.1 to 12.4 per 50 g-1 soil in both management systems. The most probable number of AMF propagules increased from 79 cm-3 soil in the conventional system to 110 cm-3 soil in the organic system. Microbial carbon, CO2 emission, and FDA activity were increased by 100 to 200% in the organic crop. Thirteen species of AMF were identified, the majority in the organic cultivation system. Acaulospora excavata, Entrophospora infrequens, Glomus sp.3 and Scutellospora sp. were found only in the organically managed crop. S. gregaria was found only in the conventional crop. Organically managed vineyards increased mycorrhization and general soil microbial activity
