La indefinición semántica de la expresión “justicia ambiental” y sus comprensibles circunstancias estratégicas | The Semantic Lack of Definition of The Expression “Environmental Justice” and his Understandable Strategic Circumstances

RESUMEN. “Justicia ambiental” es un binomio léxico complejo formado por un sustantivo (justicia) y un adjetivo (ambiental), lo cual no significa ni supone la prioridad o consecuente sumisión semántica de un término sobre el otro, sino al contrario: la interacción e interdependencia de los componentes lingüísticos de la expresión refleja una predisposición del estado de ánimo e incluso una intención favorable u optimista hacia su aceptación incondicionada por parte de todos, sin tener en cuenta la conveniencia de incidir en su contenido, equívoco o difuso en muchas ocasiones, bajo la necesaria observación de la evolución histórica del concepto desde un planteamiento político, social y jurídico.ABSTRACT. “Environmental justice” is a lexical binomial complex formed by a noun (justice) and a adjective (environmental), which neither means does not even suppose the priority or consistent semantic submission of a term to other one, but on the contrary: the interaction and interdependence of the linguistic components of the expression reflects a predisposition of the state of mind and even a favorable or optimistic intention towards his acceptance undetermined on the part of all, without bearing in mind the convenience of affecting in his content, pun or fuzzy in many occasions, under the necessary observation of the historical evolution of the concept from a political, social and juridical exposition

El acoso en preescolar

Hoy en día, un alto porcentaje de escolares sufre acoso en sus centros. Este proceso tiene su comienzo desde las edades más tempranas, justo cuando comienzan a mantener relaciones con otros miembros de la sociedad. Se puede llamar acoso al acto por el cual una víctima sufre reiteradas veces y de forma intencional cualquier tipo de agresión; este acoso no posee las mismas características en las distintas etapas educativas. A raíz de este fenómeno se pueden llegar a producir rechazos, exclusiones, intimidaciones o incluso la asunción de roles, los cuales muchas veces son asumidos inconscientemente porque los niños creen que es lo normal. Además en la edad de preescolar los niños no saben distinguir las intenciones de sus iguales, ya sean perjudiciales o beneficiosas. Por las numerosas consecuencias que conlleva que un niño sufra acoso, debemos fomentar que los propios alumnos sean quienes no participen de forma presencial en los acosos, quienes apoyen a las victimas e incluso quienes sean capaces de crear un dialogo para su solución. La enseñanza del Derecho a través del cine: implicaciones epistemológicas y metodológicas

Este artículo trata de la relación entre el cine y el derecho y su posible repercusión sobre la docencia jurídica. Con ese objetivo serán repasadas algunas ideas básicas sobre la importancia y beneficios de la utilización del cine en la enseñanza universitaria. Más en concreto, se analizarán las conexiones entre el cine y el derecho, sobre todo a partir del componente narrativo presente en uno y otro ámbito del conocimiento, para establecer los modelos a través de los cuales pueda ser orientada una docencia jurídica que recurra a la utilización de películas. Al respecto, se partirá de unos presupuestos metodológicos desde los cuales la importancia que se concede a ambas disciplinas sea equilibrada, sin que se le dé prioridad al derecho sobre el cine o al cine sobre el derecho. Multicultural societies and legal systems: intersections and confrontations

Los sistemas jurídicos actuales están siendo afectados por la introducción en las sociedades occidentales de culturas externas fruto de la inmigración. Las actitudes y comportamientos que se consideran diferentes son controlados por el derecho a través de los mecanismos jurídicos que se creen oportunos. Una revisión de las acciones jurídicas que se utilizan para regular tales conductas es una necesidad en las sociedades multiculturales. De hecho, las normas jurídicas pueden crear, interpretar y aplicar el derecho a partir de otras premisas diferentes que han de tener en cuenta las transformaciones sociales y las nuevas necesidades presentes en los ordenamientos jurídicos a partir de la revisión del concepto de sistema jurídico.The current legal systems are being affected by the introduction in Western societies from external cultures result of immigration. The attitudes and behaviors that are considered different are controlled by the law through legal mechanisms that are believed appropriate. A review of legal actions that are used to regulate such behavior is a necessity in multicultural societies. One-loop renormalization of the electroweak chiral Lagrangian with a light Higgs

We consider the general chiral effective action which parametrizes the nonlinear realization of the spontaneous breaking of the electroweak symmetry with a light Higgs, and compute the one-loop ultraviolet divergences coming from Higgs and electroweak Goldstone fluctuations using the background field method. The renormalization of the divergences is carried out through operators of next-to-leading order in the chiral counting, i.e. of O(p^4). Being of the same order in power counting, the logarithmic corrections linked to these divergences can be as important as the tree-level contributions from the O(p^4) operators, and must be accounted for in the phenomenological analysis of experimental data. Deviations in the O(p^2) (leading-order) couplings with respect to the Standard Model values, e.g., in the h->WW coupling, would generate contributions from the 1-loop chiral logarithms computed in this work to a vast variety of observables, which do not have a counterpart in the conventional electroweak effective theory with a linearly transforming Higgs complex doublet.Comment: 6 page

Resonance saturation of the chiral couplings at NLO in 1/Nc

The precision obtainable in phenomenological applications of Chiral Perturbation Theory is currently limited by our lack of knowledge on the low-energy constants (LECs). The assumption that the most important contributions to the LECs come from the dynamics of the low-lying resonances, often referred to as the resonance saturation hypothesis, has stimulated the use of large-Nc resonance lagrangians in order to obtain explicit values for the LECs. We study the validity of the resonance saturation assumption at the next-to-leading order in the 1/Nc expansion within the framework of Resonance Chiral Theory (RChT). We find that, by imposing QCD short-distance constraints, the chiral couplings can be written in terms of the resonance masses and couplings and do not depend explicitly on the coefficients of the chiral operators in the Goldstone boson sector of RChT. As we argue, this is the counterpart formulation of the resonance saturation statement in the context of the resonance lagrangian. Going beyond leading order in the 1/Nc counting allow us to keep full control of the renormalization scale dependence of the LEC estimates.Comment: 9 pages, 3 eps figures.
