La faute médicale caractérisée en droit français est-elle liée à des qualifications d'intensité et de gravité ?

    Get PDF
Medical misconduct in criminal law could be qualified as characterized by judge. It would be determined by the fact that the medical practitioner exposes a patient to health danger with full consciousness. This medical misconduct could be done during positive act or guilty abstention. But the legislator didn’t clarify the term “characterized” of fault in the bill. Precise definitions were established by dispute at law. In the medical field, an analysis was performed when indirect causality was involved by supreme judge. The majority of court rulings were based on criminal negligence which couldn’t be ignored by the medical doctor that endangers health patient. Intensity and gravity in criminal negligence were systematically demonstrated. That could be considered as the term “characterized” in the medical fault

Confronting the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with the Study of Scalar Leptons at Future Linear e+e- Colliders

Sleptons can easily be found at future linear e+e- colliders if kinematically accessible. Measurements of their masses and decay distributions would then determine MSSM parameters. This paper presents a detailed MC study of the production and decay of the lighter scalar tau lepton, stau1. We found that mstau1 and the left-right mixing angle of stau would be measured within an error of a few percent. tanbeta is determinable in some region of the parameter space through simultaneous studies of stau1-and selectron-pair production: the polarization measurement of the tau leptons from stau1 decays and the M1, mchi1 determination using selectron pair production and decay. We also point out the possibility to determine bino-selectron-e coupling through the measurement of the angular distribution of the selectron-pair production. The error on the coupling is expected to be comparable to its typical SUSY radiative correction, which is proportional to log(msquark/mslepton). The radiative correction affects M1 and tanbeta determination, necessitating the full 1-loop radiative correction to the selectron production processes. The implication of these measurements of the MSSM parameters on selecting models of the origin of supersymmetry breaking is also discussed.Comment: 35 pages. REVTEX(gzip compressed and uuencoded). Polarization of τ\tau lepton from scalar tau decay as a probe of neutralino mixing

    Get PDF
The τ\tau lepton arising from the scalar tau (\st) decay is naturally polarized. \ptau depends on the left--right mixing of the \st and the gaugino--higgsino mixing of the neutralino. The polarization \ptau could be measured from the energy distribution of the decay products of τ\tau at future \epem colliders. A measurement of \ptauand of the \st production cross section allows to determine both these mixing angles.Comment: 20 pages Latex, 5 figures(not included). compressed ps file of the figures available at ftp://ftp.kek.jp/kek/preprints/TH/TH-425/fig.ps.g

Neutralino Decays at the CERN LHC

We study the distribution of lepton pairs from the second lightest neutralino decay \tchi^0_2\to\tchi^0_1 l^+l^-. This decay mode is important to measure the mass difference between \tchi^0_2 and the lightest neutralino \tchi^0_1, which helps to determine the parameters of the minimal supersymmetric standard model at the CERN LHC. We found that the decay distribution strongly depends on the values of underlying MSSM parameters. For some extreme cases, the amplitude near the end point of the lepton invariant mass distribution can be suppressed so strongly that one needs the information of the whole m_{ll} distribution to extract m_{\tchi^0_2}-m_{\tchi^0_1}. On the other hand, if systematic errors on the acceptance can be controlled, this distribution can be used to constrain slepton masses and the Z\tchi^0_2\tchi^0_1 coupling. Measurements of the velocity distribution of \tchi^0_2 from samples near the end point of the m_{ll} distribution, and of the asymmetry of the p_T of leptons, would be useful to reduce the systematic errors.Comment: 23 pages, latex2e, 9 figures, minor change, accepted to PR

CP Phases in Correlated Production and Decay of Neutralinos in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model

We investigate the associated production of neutralinos e+eχ~10χ~20e^+e^-\to\tilde{\chi}^0_1\tilde{\chi}^0_2 accompanied by the neutralino leptonic decay χ~20χ~10+\tilde{\chi}^0_2\to\tilde{\chi}^0_1 \ell^+\ell^-, taking into account initial beam polarization and production-decay spin correlations in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with general CP phases but without generational mixing in the slepton sector. The stringent constraints from the electron EDM on the CP phases are also included in the discussion. Initial beam polarizations lead to three CP--even distributions and one CP--odd distribution, which can be studied independently of the details of the neutralino decays. We find that the production cross section and the branching fractions of the leptonic neutralino decays are very sensitive to the CP phases. In addition, the production--decay spin correlations lead to several CP--even observables such as lepton invariant mass distribution, and lepton angular distribution, and one interesting T--odd (CP--odd) triple product of the initial electron momentum and two final lepton momenta, the size of which might be large enough to be measured at the high--luminosity future electron--positron collider or can play a complementary role in constraining the CP phases with the EDM constraints.Comment: Revtex, 37 pages, 12 eps figure

Search for CP Violation in the Decay Z -> b (b bar) g

About three million hadronic decays of the Z collected by ALEPH in the years 1991-1994 are used to search for anomalous CP violation beyond the Standard Model in the decay Z -> b \bar{b} g. The study is performed by analyzing angular correlations between the two quarks and the gluon in three-jet events and by measuring the differential two-jet rate. No signal of CP violation is found. For the combinations of anomalous CP violating couplings, h^b=h^AbgVbh^VbgAb{\hat{h}}_b = {\hat{h}}_{Ab}g_{Vb}-{\hat{h}}_{Vb}g_{Ab} and hb=h^Vb2+h^Ab2h^{\ast}_b = \sqrt{\hat{h}_{Vb}^{2}+\hat{h}_{Ab}^{2}}, limits of \hat{h}_b < 0.59and and h^{\ast}_{b} < 3.02$ are given at 95\% CL.Comment: 8 pages, 1 postscript figure, uses here.sty, epsfig.st

Search for the glueball candidates f0(1500) and fJ(1710) in gamma gamma collisions

Data taken with the ALEPH detector at LEP1 have been used to search for gamma gamma production of the glueball candidates f0(1500) and fJ(1710) via their decay to pi+pi-. No signal is observed and upper limits to the product of gamma gamma width and pi+pi- branching ratio of the f0(1500) and the fJ(1710) have been measured to be Gamma_(gamma gamma -> f0(1500)). BR(f0(1500)->pi+pi-) < 0.31 keV and Gamma_(gamma gamma -> fJ(1710)). BR(fJ(1710)->pi+pi-) < 0.55 keV at 95% confidence level.Comment: 10 pages, 3 figure
