GAMBARAN PERSEPSI IBU TENTANG PENANGANAN KEJANG DEMAM DI DESA SIDOREJO KELURAHAN PAKAL SURABAYA
Penanganan kejang demam oleh orang tua cenderung membahayakan anak. hal itu disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan ibu dalam menangani kejang demam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran persepsi ibu tentang penanganan kejang demam pada anak di Desa Sidorejo kelurahan Pakal Surabaya.
Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sidorejo kelurahan Pakal Surabaya pada bulan April 2014. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua ibu yang mempunyai anak usia 6 bulan - 3 tahun sebesar 55 orang di Desa Sidorejo kelurahan Pakal Surabaya. Pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling sebesar 48 orang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah persepsi ibu tentang penanganan kejang demam pada anak. Pengambilan data dengan menggunakan instrument kuesioner, kemudian diolah dan disajikan dengan distribusi frekuensi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar (64,6%) persepsi ibu tentang penanganan kejang demam dalam kategori negatif.
Simpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa sebagian besar persepsi ibu tentang penanganan kejang demam tergolong negatif. Disarankan dalam penanganan kejang demam pada anak, ibu aktif mencari informasi tentang penanganan kejang demam yang benar. sedangkan sebagai tenaga kesehatan kita memberikan pendidikan kesehatan atau penyuluhan tentang kejang demam dan penanganannya yang benar pada anak, agar penanganan kejang demam oleh orang tua tidak membahayakan anak
PREZI: AN ONLINE TO OFFLINE ‘ZOOMING’ PRESENTATION SOFTWARE IN ORAL ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC SPEAKING STUDENTS
Abstract: There has been a deeper appreciation on using technology in English classrooom. The technology is
used to create an interactive learning process. In this article, the author will disscuss the implementation of Prezi
as a new presentation tool which works well in oral English for Academic Speaking students. Prezi is an
interactive and visually pleasing tool that uses zooming and spatial relationships to present information. Similar
to a traditional PowerPoint, Prezi has the ability to incorporate various types of media (Manning, et al. 2011: 26).
Prezi is a web-based tool that allows to create a powerful presentation. Prezi can be used as a way to develop
virtual graphic organizers or word charts. Prezi is also as a way to create organizers or words charts is its
interactive and expressive nature. It allows presenter the option of creating more dimensions to explore a topic
and to incorporate their thoughts and ideas into a powerful presentation. The knowledge conveyed to the
listeners increases when there is audience participation and the presenter’s style is dynamic and engaging
(Bernhartd, 2006: 317). Prezi allows the presenter more flexibility and creates a way to show relationships
among different items in presentation.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF DIGITAL STORY TO TEACH LISTENING VIEWED FROM THE STUDENTS’ SCHEMATA (An Experimental Study at the Second Semester Students of English Department of IKIP PGRI Madiun in the Academic Year of 2012/2013)
This research is aimed at finding out whether: (1) Digital Story is more
effective than Animation Video to teach listening; (2) The students who have high
schemata have better listening skill than those who have low schemata; and (3)
there is an interaction between teaching media and schemata in teaching listening.
The method which was applied in this research was experimental study. It
was conducted at the second semester Students of English Education Department
IKIP PGRI Madiun, East Java in the Academic Year of 2012/2013 from January
2013 to June 2013. The population of the research was the second semester
Students of English Education Department IKIP PGRI Madiun in the Academic
Year of 2012/2013. It consisted of 4 classes, the total number of population was
132 students. The samples were two classes (experimental class which was taught
using Digital Story and control class which was taught using Animation Video).
In taking the sample, a cluster random sampling technique was used. Each class
was divided into two groups (the students who have high and low schemata).
Then, the instruments which were used to collect the data were a questionnaire for
getting the data of the students’ schemata and a multiple choice test for getting the
data of the students’ listening skill. The two instruments were tried out to get valid
and reliable items. The data were analyzed by using Multifactor analysis of
variance ANOVA 2x2 and Tukey test. Before conducting the ANOVA test,
normality and homogeneity test were conducted.
Based on the result of the analysis, there are some research findings that
can be taken: (1) Digital Story is more effective than direct Animation Video to
teach listening: (2) The students who have high schemata have better listening
skill than those who have low schemata; and (3) There is an interaction between
teaching media and schemata in teaching listening.

Short Plays and Drama in EFL Classrooms as Perceived by Secondary School Students: the Role and Impact
This quantitative study investigates the role and impact of short plays and drama on English as a foreign language (EFL) students. A total of 72 students from a secondary school in North Kalimantan in Indonesia participated in the study. Data was collected through a questionnaire consisting of 8 items, which were later classified into three different focuses of inquiries; psychological, instrumental, and pedagogical aspects. The study results indicate that secondary school students viewed short play from the three perspectives positively. Findings also suggest that the application of short play in EFL classrooms must be preceded by a careful selection of literary texts and careful planning of short play instructional design. Finally, the study calls for further attempts to integrate secondary school EFL curriculum and literature, implying the needs for appropriate drama-based activity pedagogy and professional development programs
Contesting Religious Beliefs: The Experience of the Cham in Vietnam
Studies on Islam and Muslims in Vietnam are indeed very interesting to be understood and shared with other Muslims in the region. Historically, the Cham communities in Vietnam have converted over many years from Hinduism to Buddhism and to Islam. Today, the Cham communities are often associated with Islam, but this does not mean that they are all practicing the same rituals. However, even though they have different beliefs and orientations, the interactions among the Cham in their own community are still in harmony. I will argue that the differences between ethnic identities and religious orientations among the Cham in Vietnam have been influenced by their interactions with outsiders and their transnational networks. This study tries to capture the religious orientations among the Cham in Vietnam and how they maintain their harmonious livelihood and social interaction in the community. Furthermore, it takes a qualitative approach through observations, in-depth interviews and review literature. The observations and in-depth interviews occurred in May-June 2014 in Ho Chi Minh City and Phan Rang Province in Central Vietnam
Rural EFL Teachers’ Emotions and Agency in Online Language Teaching: I Will Survive
This article explores rural English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers’ emotions and agency in online language teaching. Based on Hargreaves’s emotional geography framework, teachers’ emotions and teacher agency are both captured through teachers’ narration about their feelings, salient challenges that they encountered, and their coping strategies. Research data were collected using semi-structured interviews with two English teachers working in rural upper secondary schools in Nunukan, Indonesia. The collected data were analyzed with an inductive approach. The findings portray how rural EFL teachers experience various emotions which are mainly caused by physical and sociocultural distance, how agency helps these teachers with abilities to reflect on their feelings and to take crucial actions, and to what extend the need for immediate professional development programs to develop online teaching skills is

LAPORAN PRAKTIK PENGALAMAN LAPANGAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING SMP NEGERI 2 KALASAN
Praktek Bimbinngan dan Konseling di sekolah dimaksudkan agar mahasiwa
dapat mempraktikkan teori yang diperoleh selama kuliah, sehingga memperoleh
keterampilan khusus sesuai dengan keahlian dalam profesi Bimbinngan dan
Konseling. Dengan kata lain, praktik Bimbingan dan Konseling memberikan
kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk menggunakan semua kompetensi yang telah
dimiliki dibawah arahan guru dan dosen pembimbing. Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan
Bimbingan dan Konseling bertujuan agar mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman
khususnya tentang pelaksanaan Bimbingan dan Konseling di sekolah pada umumnya.
Sehingga mahasiswa dapat menggunakan pangalamannya sebagai bekal kelak untuk
menjadi konselor yang profesional di sekolah. Pada kesempatan ini praktikan
ditugaskan di SMP Negeri 2 Kalasan dari tanggal 15 Juli 2016 hingga15 September
2016.
Program Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling yang telah terlaksana di SMP
Negeri 2 Kalasan antara lain; Bimbingan Klasikal terlaksana sebanyak 15 kali masuk
kelas, layanan orientasi terlaksana sebanyak 1 kali, layanan informasi terlaksana
berupa pembuatan poster, papan bimbingan dan sosialisasi masuk kelas, layanan
penempatan dan penyaluran 1 kali, bimbingan lelompok terlaksana 1 kali, konferensi
kasus 1 kali, bimbingan teman sebaya 1 kali, konseling individu terlaksana dengan
adanya 5 konseli, home visit terlaksana 2 kali, need asessment dilakukan dengan
metode Identifikasi Kebutuhan Masalah Siswa (IKMS) di 3 kelas, penyebaran
sosiometri dan pembuatan sosiogram di 1 kelas serta kolaborasi baik dengan guru
maupun dengan orang tua. Adapun kegiatan non-layanan BK yang dilaksanakan
antara lain administrasi guru, piket, pendampingan lomba, pembaruan cat taman
sekolah, dan mengikuti upacara yang diselenggarakan oleh pihak sekolah baik upara
rutin maupun upacara hari kemerdekaan.
Hampir seluruh program PPL dapat terlaksana dengan baik, dan lancar
walaupun ada beberapa program yang belum bisa terlaksana dikarenakan beberapa
hambatan
PENGARUH KONDISI SOSIAL EKONOMI ORANG TUA TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMP PENIDA KATAPANG TAHUN AJARAN 2019/2020
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana Pengaruh Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi terhadap Prestasi Belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Variabel pada penelitian ini adalah kondisi social ekonomi orang tua siswa (X) dan prestasi belajar siswa (Y) kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS. Populasi yang diteliti adalah semua siswa kelas VIII SMP Penida Katapang Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 63 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang valid menggunakan Statistik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kondisi sosisl ekonomi orang tua termasuk dalam kategori rendah (50,8%). Prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Penida Katapang termasuk dalam kategori kurang (34,9%). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadapa prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Penida Katapang Kabupaten Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020
