Existência de soluções positivas para o problema de curvatura média prescrita com termo não local via o método de sub e supersolução

R+ , f : R R ! R e B : L1( ) ! R são funções cujas hipóteses serão dadas depois. Nós usamos o método de sub e supersolução, a fim de encontrar soluções para o problema (P). R+ , f : R R ! R and B : L1( ) ! R are functions whose hypotheses will be defined later. We use sub and supersolution method in order to find solutions to problem (P). Further, we apply our result to some nonlocal prescribed mean curvature problems

Vanishing DC holographic conductivity from a magnetic monopole condensate

We show how to obtain a vanishing DC conductivity in 3-dimensional strongly coupled QFT's using a massive 2-form field in the bulk that satisfies a special kind of boundary condition. The real and imaginary parts of the AC conductivity are evaluated in this holographic setup and we show that the DC conductivity identically vanishes even for an arbitrarily small (though nonzero) value of the 2-form mass in the bulk. We identify the bulk action of the massive 2-form with an effective theory describing a phase in which magnetic monopoles have condensed in the bulk. Our results indicate that a condensate of magnetic monopoles in a 4-dimensional bulk leads to a vanishing DC holographic conductivity in 3-dimensional strongly coupled QFT's.Comment: 24 pages, 2 figures, accepted for publication in JHE

Este trabajo está compuesto por un escenario de pruebas en las cuales encontramos una topología de una empresa con 3 sucursales en diferentes partes del país en la cual el estudiante deberá configurar e interconectar los dispositivos que están formando esta topología, de acuerdo a lo visto anteriormente en los capítulos de CCNA 1 y CCNA 2 de direccionamiento IP, protocolos de enrutamiento, mediante la ayuda del simulador Cisco Packet Tracer.his work consists of a test scenario in which we find a topology of a company with 3 branches in different parts of the country in which the student must configure and interconnect the devices that are forming this topology, according to what was previously seen in the chapters of CCNA 1 and CCNA 2 of IP addressing, routing protocols, with the help of the Cisco Packet Tracer simulator

Mercado modelo minorista en el distrito en San Martín de Porres

Los mercados minoristas en el Perú son muy importantes para nuestra economía, la sociedad y también la cultura en nuestro país. Es un punto estratégico para nuestra sociedad. Por ellos la importancia de contar con un diseño que potencie todo lo anteriormente mencionado. La presente tesis procura proponer un proyecto arquitectónico, el cual resuelva muchos de los problemas que tienen los mercados actuales, tanto en orden, limpieza e iluminación. Se desarrolla en el distrito de San Martín de Porres, el cual, es uno de los distritos más grandes de Lima y con mercados precarios en infraestructura. La implementación del proyecto tendrá impactos evidentes sobre la mejora de la calidad ambiental del área de intervención, la salubridad alimentaria y calidad de vida de la población de San Martín de Porres, especialmente de la urbanización. Deadline Missing Prediction Through the Use of Milestones

Distributed Real-Time Thread is an important concept for distributed real-time systems. Distributed Threads are schedulable entities with an end-to-end deadline that transpose nodes, carrying their scheduling context. In each node, the thread will be locally scheduled according to a local deadline, which is defined by a deadline partitioning algorithm. Mechanisms for predicting the missing of deadlines are fundamental if corrective actions are incorporated for improving system quality of service. In this work, a mechanism for predicting missing deadlines is proposed and evaluated through simulation. In order to illustrate the main characteristics of the proposed mechanism, experiments will be presented taking into account different scenarios of normal load and overload. Simulations show that the deadline missing prediction mechanism proposed presents good results for improving the overall performance and availability of distributed systems

Maximum efficiency phothochemistry and potential photosynthetic index in melon plants (Cucumis melo) treated with low temperatures

La fluorescencia de la clorofila se utiliza para determinar la eficiencia fotoquímica de las plantas ante diferentes condiciones ambientales. Existen índices como Fv/Fm y PI abs que son indicadores indirectos del rendimiento cuántico del fotosistema II (PSII). El objetivo de este trabajo fue determinar la eficiencia fotoquímica máxima del PSII y el potencial fotosintético en plantas sometidas a bajas temperaturas. La experiencia se llevó a cabo en la EEA, Santiago del Estero y en la Facultad de Agronomía y Agroindustria, UNSE. Los tratamientos consistieron en plantas de melón (cv. Sweet Ball) sin estímulo de frío (testigo) y plantas con estímulo de frío durante la noche con rangos térmicos de 0ºC a 10ºC y de -3ºC a 0ºC. Se evaluó la eficiencia fotoquímica máxima (Fv/Fm), índice de potencial fotosintético (PI abs) y concentración de malondialdehido (MDA) en hoja. En las plantas estimuladas con frío se obtuvo menor Fv/Fm, PI abs e incrementos en la concentración de MDA.Measurements of the chlorophyll fluorescence is used to examine the photochemical efficiency of plants a wide range of environmental conditions. The quantum yield of non-cyclic electron transport is directly proportional to the efficiency of excitation of the reaction centers of Photosystem II (PS II) and can be determined by indexes such as Fv / Fm and PI abs. The aim of this study was to determine the maximum photochemical efficiency of PSII and photosynthetic potential in plants treated with low temperatures. The experiment was conducted at the Estación Experimental Agropecuaria (EEA) INTA y la Facultad de Agronomía y Agroindustria de la Universidad Nacional de Santiago del Estero (UNSE). Treatments consisted of melon plants (cv. Sweet Ball) without (control) and with low night temperatures between 10°C and 0ºC to -3ºC to 0°C. Prior Exercise Reduces Fast-Start Duration and End-Spurt Magnitude during Cycling Time-Trial

We examined the pacing strategy and the magnitude of the end spurt during a 200-kJ cycling time trial performed 12–14 h after an exercise protocol designed to reduce muscle glycogen content. 9 physically-active men performed 5 familiarization sessions and 2 experimental 200-kJ time trials in either a control condition (CON) or after an exercise protocol performed the previous evening that was designed to induce muscle glycogen depletion (EP). Mean total time was faster and power output was higher in the CON than in the EP (P<0.01). A fast-start was maintained until the 50-kJ section in CON, but only the 25-kJ section for EP (P<0.05). The power outputs during the 50-, 150- and 200-kJ sections, and the magnitude of the end-spurt, were significantly higher for the CON than for the EP condition (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the rating of perceived exertion (overall feeling and feeling in legs) between conditions. In conclusion, a protocol designed to decrease muscle glycogen stores reduced the duration of the fast-start and the magnitude of the end spurt during a 200-kJ cycling time trial, impairing the overall performance

Bilateral Mandibular Supernumerary Teeth Associated with Gemination: a Case report

Višestruka hiperdoncija rijetka je i obično povezana s kompleksnim sindromima ili geminacijom. Najčešći tretman koji se u tom slučaju primjenjuje jest uklanjanje prekobrojnih zuba iz profilaktičkih razloga. Svrha je ovog prikaza opisati izoliranu pojavu prekobrojnih zuba na više lokacija u čeljusti, no nepovezanih s bilo kojim sindromom. Jedan od zuba bio je rijedak i kao fenomen jer je imao anatomiju korijenskih kanala specifičnu za geminaciju. Ektopični zubi izvađeni su jer su uzrokovali nelagodu, bol i otekline u ustima. Ekstrahirana su tri prekobrojna zuba bez postoperacijskih komplikacija. Kontrolni pregled bio je dogovoren za godinu dana i tada nije bilo recidiva.Multiple hyperodontia rarely occurs without being associated with complex syndromes or gemination. The prophylactic surgical removal of the supernumerary teeth is generally the treatment of choice. The aim of this case report was to present an isolated nonsyndromic occurrence of multiple supernumerary teeth, one of which had a root canal anatomy of gemination, representing a rare phenomenon. However, since the ectopic teeth were associated with discomfort, pain and swelling, surgical treatment was necessary. The chosen treatment was surgery, with the extraction of the three supernumerary teeth and no evidence of any postoperative complications. No recurrences occurred in one year of follow-up
