El concepto de intercambio orgánico entre naturaleza y ser humano: una aproximación marxológica

Karl Marx se lee hoy como se lee a un clásico del pensamiento. Sus reflexiones en torno a la relación histórica entre el hombre y la naturaleza reflejan la preocupación existente en su obra por conseguir un futuro común para la humanidad. Las propuestas que posee en su juventud sobre la posible liberación del ser humano y la naturaleza exte-rior al hombre en un proceso de abolir toda alienación, recorrerá cronológicamente el pensamiento de Karl Marx a lo largo de su vida como se mostrará en el siguiente escrito. El concepto de «intercambio orgánico» es clave para entender el proceso de liberación del ser humano de sus ataduras, a la vez que supone un punto de avance hacia sociedades alternativas que reconcilien las relaciones entre el ser humano y la naturaleza.Karl Marx's writings are consecrated classics of thought in our age. His reflec-tions on the historical relationship between nature and human being reveal his deep preoc-cupation with achieving a common future for all mankind. The solutions he offered in his youth for the possibility of liberation of human beings and external nature in a process of abolition of all alienation runs on through all of Marx's stages of thought, as this paper means to show. The concept of «metabolic interchange» in particular is key to understand-ing the process of liberation of mankind from its shackles, representing an advance step towards the establishment of alternative societies where human beings and nature are may be fully reconciled

A novel 2.5D spectral approach for studying thin-walled waveguides with fluid-acoustic interaction

This paper presents a novel formulation of two spectral elements to study guided waves in coupled problems involving thin-walled structures and fluid-acoustic enclosures. The aim of the proposed work is the development of a new efficient computational method to study problems where geometry and properties are invariant in one direction, commonly found in the analysis of guided waves. This assumption allows using a two-and-a-half dimensional (2.5D) spectral formulation in the wavenumber-frequency domain. The novelty of the proposed work is the formulation of spectral plate and fluid elements with an arbitrary order in 2.5D. A plate element based on a Reissner-Mindlin/Kirchhoff-Love mixed formulation is proposed to represent the thin-walled structure. This element uses approximation functions to overcome the difficulties to formulate elements with an arbitrary order from functions. The proposed element uses a substitute transverse shear strain field to avoid shear locking effects. Three benchmark problems are studied to check the convergence and the computational effort for different strategies. Accurate results are found with an appropriate combination of element size and order of the approximation functions allowing at least six nodes per wavelength. Social evolution in Jürgen Habermas: Towards a weak anthropological naturalism between Kant and Darwin

Producción CientíficaIssues concerning naturalism have increasingly become the subject of philosophical reflections involving ontological,epistemological, and even ethics affairs. The most popular topic for contemporary philosophy has been the relationship between ontological results of Darwinism and epistemology. Despite the varied circumstances of its establishment, natural-ism almost always produces recommendations that reflect a world view much“weaker”(as in the case of Habermas) than the strong one more common among scientism. There are good structural reasons for this difference. The aim of this paper is to elucidate some of distinctive social features of Habermas’s conception of the human being and its implications in the Theory of Communicative Action(1982). Therefore, it is shown that his anthropology takes a naturalistic and Darwinist perspective in the weak naturalism perspective. In the first part, Darwińs legacy is analysed as a research program, and Habermaś s studies on biological anthropologyare compared with the latest research in genetics and palaeontology. In the second part, we will show Habermas’s proposal to confront an epistemological dualism through aweak non-reductionist naturalism as a critique of modern metaphysics, which structures a new pragmatic realism

Temporally-aware algorithms for the classification of anuran sounds

Several authors have shown that the sounds of anurans can be used as an indicator of climate change. Hence, the recording, storage and further processing of a huge number of anuran sounds, distributed over time and space, are required in order to obtain this indicator. Furthermore, it is desirable to have algorithms and tools for the automatic classification of the different classes of sounds. In this paper, six classification methods are proposed, all based on the data-mining domain, which strive to take advantage of the temporal character of the sounds. The definition and comparison of these classification methods is undertaken using several approaches. The main conclusions of this paper are that: (i) the sliding window method attained the best results in the experiments presented, and even outperformed the hidden Markov models usually employed in similar applications; (ii) noteworthy overall classification performance has been obtained, which is an especially striking result considering that the sounds analysed were affected by a highly noisy background; (iii) the instance selection for the determination of the sounds in the training dataset offers better results than cross-validation techniques; and (iv) the temporally-aware classifiers have revealed that they can obtain better performance than their nontemporally-aware counterparts.Consejería de Innovación, Ciencia y Empresa (Junta de Andalucía, Spain): excellence eSAPIENS number TIC 570

En el presente ensayo intentamos reconfigurar las ideas de región y desarrollo como conceptos macro que han entrado en crisis y mostrado sus límites dentro de un discurso y realidad dominantes. Es un hecho irrefutable que el desarrollo no se ha logrado en gran parte del mundo contemporáneo. La región se construye desde lo local y se liga al desarrollo posible y variado mediante los distintos actores, sujetos y agentes, a partir de las relaciones y las comunicaciones intersubjetivas. The urban development of the metropolitan area as a social construction of new realities: the case of Tecámac, State of Mexico

El mundo neoliberal ha enaltecido la urbanización, considerándola un símbolo de desarrollo y progreso; las urbes, grandes, medianas y pequeñas, son el espacio donde tienen lugar los encuentros y desencuentros de diversos actores económicos, políticos y sociales. Particularmente, la urbanización es relevante en los espacios locales, donde se lucha por el territorio y sus recursos. Para algunos representan espacios vitales, para otros son esperanza e ilusión de vida; otros más ven en sus moradores un recurso político, o la perspectiva de negocio, ganancia y lucro. Aquí abordamos los aspectos de un fenómeno poblacional centralizado económica y políticamente, tomando en cuenta a los diversos constructores de los nuevos espacios. Este es el caso del municipio de Tecámac, Estado de México, un lugar en expansión y con una derrama poblacional histórica en la Zona Metropolitana de la Ciudad de México

La cuestión ambiental en el paradigma comunicativo de Jürgen Habermas

Curso 2014-2015[ES]Dar respuesta a las nuevas formas de estar en el mundo global desde la perspectiva teórica de Jürgen Habermas (Düsseldorf, 1929-) y poder presentar un modelo teórico válido para la crisis ecológica que tienen (y tendrán) las sociedades del siglo XXI es la finalidad teórica y práctica de este trabajo. Aunque ciertamente no hay en habermas un proyecto teórico dedicado estrictamente a la filosofía ambiental, creo haber mostrado cómo en su propuesta comunicativa (teórico-práctica-política-cosmopolita) hay elementos muy válidos para solucionar los diversos problemas ecológicos, ya sea para analizar las posibilidades político-spciales desde una perspectiva ambiental o para presentar soluciones que acaben con algunos problemas como el cambio climático desde un modelo democrático y deliberativo[EN] This master's thesis responds to the new ways of being and living in the global world from the philosophy of Jürgen Habermas (Düsseldorf, 1929), aiming to provide a valid theoretical model to engage the ecologial crises that 21st Century societies endure (or will endure). Despite the absence of a specific theoretical project devoted to environmental philosophy in Habermas' thought, this work demonstrates that his communicative philosophy (theoretical-practical-political-cosmopolitical) offers remarkably useful elements to solve very diverse ecological issues, from the analysis of our socio-political possibilities from an environmental perspective to finding solutions for problems such as the climate change, from a deliberative democratic model

El desarrollo dialógico de la argumentación moral y sus relaciones con la ética del discurso

Retornando al modelo dialógico del discurso racional en la lógica dialógica y en la teoría comunicativa de Habermas, describimos la lógica dinámica como el estudio del flujo general de la comunicación (pragmática). Mostramos cómo estas dos perspectivas estarían relacionadas con la teoría de los actos de habla y sus relaciones con la teoría moral. Esperamos que el presente trabajo contribuya a una mejor comprensión de la argumentación moral y sus relaciones con la ética del discurso
