User's Satisfaction of Using Mobile Reservation Technology Case Study : Mobile Ticketing Reservation System
The mobile devices and the emergence of wireless technologies are rapidly increasing. Firms adopted mobile devices and wireless technologies to assist and improve their business’ performances. With mobile commerce (M-commerce) technology, mobile ticketing reservation, service will be possible anywhere at anytime. This research aims to study the user’s satisfaction of using mobile ticketing reservation technology by using a prototype called “Mobile Ticketing Reservation Systems (MTRS)” which demonstrates the implication and the usefulness of wireless technology or the ticketing reservation system. The target users of this study are
staffs of Faciilty of Information Technology at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Sintok. The prototype is primarily the concepts of airline ticketing reservation express
service. The findings of this study revealed that the respondents are satisfied with the MTRS prototype. This study also proposed several recommendations for future
research
Successful Strategies for Retaining Profitability in an Education-Sector IT Project
Many information technology (IT) project managers (PMs) and other business leaders lack effective strategies for enhancing communication among their project team members, thereby reducing profitability and organizational cohesion. The purpose of this multiple case study was to explore communication strategies that IT PMs used to successfully complete IT mobile device projects. The conceptual framework for this study was McQuail\u27s mass communication, Craig\u27s communication, and Deming\u27s profound knowledge theory. Purposive sampling method was used to identify 6 successful IT PMs and leaders who worked at 2 leading educations settings located in southeastern South Carolina. Data gathered from the semistructured interviews and collected from publicly available documents were analyzed using coding techniques, constant comparison, and keyword phrases. After methodological triangulation of the data sources collected and completion of Yin\u27s 5-step process of data analysis, 3 key themes emerged from data analysis: standardized project communication, project team building, and positive customer focus. Findings from this study may contribute to positive social change by providing IT PMs with evidence to support efficient communication strategies in the education sector to increase organizational performance and profitability, which may positively contribute to improving quality of life for employees, driving economic development, and improving community relations

A sediment budget analysis of Pegasus Bay.
A sediment budget of Pegasus Bay is presented in order to build up a
comprehensive account of sediment movements and potential shoreline
behaviour of the region. The bay has been extensively researched on a local
scale but very few works examine the bay as a entire unit. This thesis gives an
overview of the bay as a whole as well as examining site specific areas which
leads to the derivation of a sediment budget for Pegasus Bay.
The principal objective is to establish and quantify the sources, sinks and
transfers of sediment within the Pegasus Bay coastal system. This is achieved by
establishing annual river yields, estuary and lagoon sedimentation rates; profile
volume analysis; longshore transport calculations based on wave observations;
and examining sedimentation on the Canterbury Continental Shelf.
It is found that the Avon-Heathcote Estuary and Brooklands Lagoon are sinks of
sediment, storing 3,000m³.yr⁻¹ and 1,000m³.yr⁻¹ respectively. The annual river
sediment yields are found to be 3,005,000m³.yr⁻¹ with the Waimakariri River
contributing 78%. A predominant southerly component of longshore transport is
discovered in the south (281,000m³.yr⁻¹) and mid Pegasus Bay (l,572,000m³.yr⁻
¹) while north Pegasus Bay exhibits net northerly transport (203,000m³.yr⁻¹).
The onshore/offshore exchange examinations reveal that there is net onshore
transport for the bay of 1,190,000m³.yr⁻¹.
The gross sediment budget for the region sums to 20,571,000 m³.yr⁻¹. The net
sediment budget for Pegasus Bay at 5,843,000m³.yr⁻¹ represents 30% of the
gross budget of which rivers are the most significant source contributing 55% to
the net budget. The net budget exhibits a surplus of sediment for the each sector
of the bay. This is not reflected in five sectors which are in either an erosionary
or equilibrium state. Despite this anomaly a positive correlation between the
state of the beach and the amount of surplus for each sector is identified. The
relationship is represented by a critical line which marks the point at which a
beach may change its state
Occupational therapist’s experience with the group-intervention Fatigue management
