Catalyzed and non-catalyzed synthesis of bioactive monastrol

The bioactive 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-thione derivative known as Monastrol was synthesized under catalyzed and non-catalyzed conditions through the Biginelli multicomponent reaction under solvent-free conditions. The use of two Lewis acids (FeCl3 and CuCl2) and two Brønsted acids (HCl and CF3COOH) as catalysts improved the reaction yields of the transformation compared with the non-catalyzed reaction. The experiments investigated catalysis and its role, the importance of multicomponent reactions and their green features, and the application of these concepts to the synthesis of a biologically important structure

Modelo de gestão aplicado à metrologia legal: proposta do modelo brasileiro para arqueação de tanques

234 f. : il., tab.A arqueação de tanques no Brasil, não é uma atividade regulamentada como as demais da Metrologia Legal, nem tampouco, recebeu um ato normativo específico do Conmetro. O Inmetro foi designado no passado como prestador de serviço nesta área, tendo recebido esta tarefa do INT e do INPM; sendo assim o Instituto Nacional de Metrologia, Normalização e Qualidade Industrial, vem prestando estes serviços à sociedade desde 1973, utilizando-se da metodologia herdada e repassada internamente entre os técnicos envolvidos com a atividade. Com o advento das filosofias da Qualidade e a nova lei do petróleo, e outros agentes motivadores, se faz necessário rever alguns aspectos gerenciais e operacionais desta área. Buscou-se estudar e analisar as prescrições normativas de organizações representativas no mundo, assim como novas tecnologias disponíveis e preconizadas nas normas. Fez-se aplicação prática em tanques, cujos cálculos foram apresentados para ilustração da teoria; bem como as tabelas volumétricas e os certificados de arqueação. Entrevistou-se especialistas em metrologia, procurando encontrar a melhor metodologia para incrementar a capacidade de atendimento do sistema Inmetro; e isto significa utilizar as prescrições normativas mais adequadas ao nosso país, trabalhando harmonicamente com nossos parceiros comerciais. E por fim recomendando que a atividade seja regulamentada o mais breve possível, e qualitativamente descentralizada. ____________________________________________________________________________________.ABSTRACT: There isn’t a Legal Metrology regulation in Brasil for measurement storage tanks, such as other activities that received a regulatory order by Inmetro. Also, there isn’t anything like that by Conmetro; but, rules and regulations are established by ANP, Receita da Fazenda Federal and requirement from companies, that are interested in process control. Inmetro was designed, a long time ago, to be a measurement storage tanks servicing, receiving this tasks from INT and INPM. Inmetro is working in this area since 1973. Using procedures established by your antecedents and has improved on the job training. After quality subject and a new law for petroleum area, and other motivation agents, it is necessary to review a lot of things about this. We’ve just studied a lot of subjects, standards and other documents of importance organization’s for tanks calibration methods around the world. We’ve seen that there are some new technology just standardized. We did some calculations of real tanks and we are presenting the volumetric table and the storage tank’s certificate. We’ve studied looking for to discover the best way to improve our servicing area. Meeting a great number of attendances, reducing measurement uncertainty, based on the best standards applications, like our partner countries are doing. Ending this research, we hope that everybody can find this subject, we hope this area in Brazil meet a regulatory order by Inmetro. And that comes true the metrological states organizations will be allowed and able to help us, also in this deal

Gestão de arqueação de tanques: uma nova proposta

13 f. : il.O Inmetro ainda não regulamentou a arqueação de tanques no Brasil, mas, desde os anos 50 vem prestando estes serviços às empresas, tendo qualificado seus técnicos executores com referência a metrologia americana, ou seja, utilizando-se as práticas normativas do que viria a ser no futuro as normas da API – American Petroleum Institut. No final dos ano 90 o Inmetro iniciou um processo de pesquisa de satisfação de seus clientes e constatou que seria necessário rever seu modelo de gestão e execução da atividade de arqueação de tanques, com o objetivo de harmonizar os seus procedimentos com os paises com os quais comercializa petróleo e derivados. Fica , também, claro neste trabalho que, o que se chama de sistema Inmetro, pois, os Ipems São Paulo , Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Bahia e Amazonas, já foram treinados para a execução de arqueação e estão prestando este serviço sobre a supervisão das equipes do Inmetro. ____________________________________________ABSTRACT : Inmetro still didn't regulate the measuremente of the tanks in Brazil, but, since the fifties it is rendering these services to the companies, having qualified their executive technicians with reference to the American metrology, In other words, being used the normative practices of what would come to be in the future of these norms API - American Petroleum Institut. In the end of the 90s Inmetro began a process of research for their customers' satisfaction and it verified that it would be necessary to review his/her administration model and execution of the activity of measurement of the tanks, with the objective of harmonizing their procedures with the countries with which it markets petroleum and flowed He/she is, also, clear in this work, that calls her of the system Inmetro, because of the Ipems São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Bahia and Amazon, they were already trained for the capacity measurement of the tanks execution and they are rendering this service on the supervision of the teams of Inmetro

Análise conjuntural das emissões de gases de efeito estufa do Inmetro

3 f.: il.Este artigo apresenta uma análise objetiva e concisa sobre as atividades desenvolvidas pelo Inmetro em suas duas sedes no Rio de Janeiro (Xerém e Rio Comprido) passíveis de emissão de gases de efeito estufa e portanto contribuintes do fenômeno climático de aquecimento global. Para tal foram levantadas as informações necessárias dentro dos cinco setores recomendados pelo Painel Intergovernamental de Mudanças Climáticas da Organização das Nações Unidas (IPCC/ONU), que são: Energia, Transportes, Indústria, Uso do Solo e Resíduos. Para a estimativa das emissões foram adotada as recomendações de boas práticas da metodologia de cálculo de emissões de GEE deste Painel em 2006. Finalmente foram apresentados os resultados da análise e propostas medidas para mitigar e até neutralizar, dentro do possível, as emissões do Inmetro, visando futuras políticas e estratégias ambientais e até a obtenção de créditos de carbono de emissões evitadas, de forma tornar o Inmetro um órgão de excelência no governo federal na área de mudanças climáticas e planejamento ambiental

Hearing health network: a spatial analysis

INTRODUCTION: In order to meet the demands of the patient population with hearing impairment, the Hearing Health Care Network was created, consisting of primary care actions of medium and high complexity. Spatial analysis through geoprocessing is a way to understand the organization of such services. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the organization of the Hearing Health Care Network of the State of Minas Gerais. METHODS: Cross-sectional analytical study using geoprocessing techniques. The absolute frequency and the frequency per 1000 inhabitants of the following variables were analyzed: assessment and diagnosis, selection and adaptation of hearing aids, follow-up, and speech therapy. The spatial analysis unit was the health micro-region. RESULTS: The assessment and diagnosis, selection, and adaptation of hearing aids and follow-up had a higher absolute number in the micro-regions with hearing health services. The follow-up procedure showed the lowest occurrence. Speech therapy showed higher occurrence in the state, both in absolute numbers, as well as per population. CONCLUSION: The use of geoprocessing techniques allowed the identification of the care flow as a function of the procedure performance frequency, population concentration, and territory distribution. All procedures offered by the Hearing Health Care Network are performed for users of all micro-regions of the state
